Sango would understand what it means that Ginkotsu was his ultimate masterpiece, because the anime staff made Ginkotsu steal Miroku's big romantic sacrifice for her, and then do it for Renkotsu before Miroku ever does it so Ginkotsu looks like the real romantic hero. That creates a bond.

before you ask yes i have seen that the Ginkotsu tank is back in the Yashahime manga. at first i was disturbed to see his corpse looted and paraded in such a fashion. but now i've circled back towards feeling that this is yet another win for RenGin, because what is that tank if not the physical embodiment of their love for each other? it's okay that i saw the spine hole where Ginkotsu's spine was supposed to connect to the tank. it's okay. Takashi Shiina described Ginkotsu as a "moe character" that he's always loved, so i forgive him for showing me the spine hole. the tank was a mobility aid btw.

I know you all love Sesshoumaru a lot. And he’s been with us for a really long time! But lately, I’m sure you’ve noticed how tired he’s been. He’s just not the same anymore. So I sent him to a farm upstate, where he has lots of room to run and jump and play, and walk around really slowly while not emoting. You know how much he loves that.

There’s just so much bad discourse here in this terrible, terrible place, and it was really getting to the little guy. You might hear ol’ Jaken crying a little bit in the night, but don’t pay him any mind. It wouldn’t be fair to keep Sesshoumaru around. The farmer says he’s doing great. It’s the fresh air that does it.

the homophobe is at it again

fortunately, i used a leechblocker extension to nuke a bunch of websites for myself yesterday, and that included the inuyasha tag + bonerryu’s drafts/queue/etc. so you’re all spared another few weeks of me tantrumming bc i will have no idea what drama is going down now. all i can access for the next 2 weeks is my main inbox.

sry to let anybody down but inuyasha kind of sucks to begin with :(( and last time i checked, the tag in general didn’t gaf about the homophobia from either of the people i called out and they’re still the most popular artists in the tag, so it’s not like the fandom gives me enough to make up for that :((((( so... y’know. i’ve got better places to be than that shithole.

Yeah, and my assumption was wrong. You’re free to dislike me personally or think I’ve made a fool of myself by jumping to conclusions. That’s not an opinion that perpetuates institutional harm. If you want to publicly express it, I only have myself to blame for guessing incorrectly in the first place. Just don’t use your opinion of me as an excuse to ignore the homophobia I’ve pointed out, or how it’s being condoned.

I mean, I think I can still safely conclude that I was among the ~toxic and negative~ elements that prompted the creation of that blog? I consider that, and the furious response I received from IP, to be pretty disgustingly homophobic. That blog isn’t their main and I didn’t share any identifying information. IP is presenting itself as a healing, safe place for the fandom, and when I made a sincere request because I was genuinely hurt, they gave me an incredibly aggressive response telling me that I hate Christians (???????) and that I was whining about my hurt feelings. I don’t think that shows much respect for me or my valid concerns, and I don’t think I’m obligated to let them keep playing the sweet gentle Disney princess in public. If they actually respected me they could have said that they had a policy to post any submissions no matter what the subject, or that they didn’t want to delete something already posted. And that would have been it. Instead they made some pathetic attempt to twist it so my request was the offensive thing, and repeatedly insulted me in the process. I think that shows their priorities pretty clearly, and I don’t think those priorities include ~healing the fandom~. I think they just want people to shut up.

Anyone is free to post any messages I’ve sent them, because I haven’t been disgustingly bigoted in response to a genuine request to remove hurtful, offensive posts. I’ve been open about who I am and what I’m upset about, and I’ve had plenty of assumptions made about me since this whole thing started. I am genuinely done now, because I don’t really have time to keep playing the whack-a-mole game where I try to figure out which homophobe is who, and then a wrong guess gives you the excuse you needed to keep pretending I don’t have a point.

btw here’s my post about how i would bet a large amount of money that inuyashapositivity is just inukagkids sockpuppeting it up. i said i wouldn’t post her response to me but like... if you want your own privacy respected, maybe don’t make a new blog to get back in the good graces of people who blocked you after finding out what kind of person you really are???

(and, you know, if i’m mistaken (i’m not) then at the very least IP is YET ANOTHER person in this fandom who thinks homophobia and transphobia are excusable opinions deserving of support)

NOTE: i’ve been informed that someone is indeed sure that IP is a different person. regardless, i’m leaving this up because it addresses a number of arguments that people have made when telling me to shut up. at the end of the day IP is STILL someone who thinks i’m the hateful, toxic element and IKK is just following her beliefs. if there was indeed someone else waiting offscreen this whole time who agreed with her to this extent, then, idk, maybe inuyasha fandom actually does fucking suck????

First off, holy cow, it’s really weird how Inukagkids reblogged that post from Inuyashapositivity about herself, which she hadn’t done in the 9 days since it was posted, right after Inuyashapositivity told me to fuck off? Boy, there are some astonishing coincidences going on here! And her tags imply this is the first time she’s seen it, even though her personal blog is visible as the very first Like it received? I didn’t screencap what it looked like earlier (I thought I knew who IP was at that point and felt they were misguided at worst), but there were only 6 notes when I checked it just before sending IP a message under my name on the 6th of August. Maybe it was just in a queue, with a nine day delay for some reason even though IKK doesn’t seem to have regularly queued posts? Tumblr does some strange things sometimes!

(Yes, I checked that post on a more-than-daily basis after sending the first anonymous ask for it to be removed. I was expecting to be ignored at best, frankly, but I tried to be fair. You’ve gotta have faith in people!)

And isn’t it wild how neither of them knows how to use “Quotation Mark”s?

And how they both really seem to think that Christianity is synonymous with thinking gay sex is sinful? When in fact there are branches of Christianity which do not believe that, and plenty of Christians who are gay themselves and manage to maintain their faith? And when I literally did not mention Christianity at all in my message to IP?

And neither of them wants to “stop” me from making characters gay or anything “else” (that means trans people; as I noted IKK is really scared of the word ‘trans’).

Gosh IP sure is invested in IKK’s emotional health. I mean, surely a simple, “My policy is to post any submissions I receive, without exception” would have sufficed. But no, she’s done some serious thinking about how important it is that IKK totally has friends who like her and want her to be happy!!!! So there!!!!

And IP is really intimately familiar with IKK’s “comfort” zones and what she has “never once tried” to do. I mean, I could have corresponded with IKK privately without mentioning it, and IKK could very well have done just that in those messages, right? How would IP know?

God damn this is aggro! Where’d all those sweet gentle little sparklecats go? :( I already posted my polite request to remove a post that was made 9 days ago. (You know, ages ago.) You can judge that for yourselves. Why do people in this fandom get so fucking pissed when people don’t respond to homophobia RIGHT AWAY? 

I’m not, btw, following this dumbass Stepford circlejerk blog. It’s just, you know, that you’re tagging every submission with “inuyasha” which happens to be a tag that I occasionally check, because I hate myself. I might also have been interested in seeing whether there even were any gay ships mentioned on the blog ever (spoiler: lmao what do you think?).

I mean, it’s almost like IP was somehow personally offended by my request? In a way that meant she couldn’t resist dropping the sweet act and telling me what an offensive meanie I am? And, oh gosh... do those passive-aggressive italics look familiar????

I mean, assuming you can even read that? Is there a significance to the pale-piss-colored background??? If I were her I’d be a little less worried about homosexuals having their nasty sinful sex and a little more worried about that pink in there. I don’t think that’s healthy.

I also think it’s a little interesting how IKK posted this angry drawing shortly after I called out her homophobic commissions post. Fastforwarding to the 6th, IP responded to me all pissy about my polite ask, and then IKK reblogged the post on IP about herself, which she had not done for an entire 9 days, and then, almost immediately, this drawing appears on IKK’s DeviantArt. IDK, I guess she had two unrelated bad days for some reason? Some meanie hurt her feelings while she was engaging in a little sockpuppet show, perhaps?

Anyway, just some wild and wacky coincidences here in this positive and loving and accepting fandom. I do so enjoy my time here.

Another odd coincidence is the anonymous messages in my inbox telling me to shut up about homophobia, which correspond pretty closely to any time I make a post about Inukagkids in the main tag. (Though when I snapped at somebody else, I note that I did not receive any such messages defending them.) These messages all follow Inukagkids’ exact line of reasoning, that being: what I called homophobia actually is NOT homophobia (note the scare quotes), and also I need to shut up and let people have their opinions. Themes repeated over and over include the idea that I am “forcing” my “beliefs” on other people who “disagree” with me. (Seriously, if you did a wordcloud of everything IKK has said + those messages, it would be 50% those three words.) 

Here’s what Inukagkids believes. It’s pretty similar to how I feel, actually! I don’t feel inclined to live and let live, because these are actually some pretty harmful beliefs that are being espoused and condoned. And in this case, I am being hurt personally. And so are children. She herself seems to be entirely in favor of me continuing to express my own opinions, regardless of how many anonymous messages tell me I’m shaming people.

Now, scroll back up and notice how Inuyashapositivity ALSO frames my position as “complaining about hurt feelings” because I’m “offended”. Notice how this message puts “homophobia” in scare quotes, and remember how adamant IKK was in her response to me that she was NOT a homophobe who hated gay people.

Wow, more scare quotes. What a shock.

Oh gee there they are again?????? Will wonders never cease?

And here’s one more thing:

They both seem pretty committed to passive-aggressively wishing me happiness after stressing the fact that nobody is making me do anything. And that is so true! No one is making me do this. Just like nobody made IKK reblog my callout if she disagrees with my opinions, and just like IP was entirely free to ignore the message I put in her inbox. :))))

And just like this anonymous person is free to mind their own business if they disagree with me, or get out if they can’t accept me! (These 3 were sent within minutes of each other for some reason? Do you think this is a big enough fandom for that to possibly look like the work of 3 different people????)

Also, Inuk I mean anon, if you peruse this post that you she wrote, I think you’ll find that she does in fact want to deny gay people the choice to raise children. So I’m gonna close with some wise words, by someone who claims to be pretty committed to defending her beliefs, but doesn’t quite seem to have the nerve to argue it out with me under her own identity?

That’s actually a pirate site and watching anime there (or torrenting it) is legally considered stealing and/or copyright infringement. I’m not sure if that’s more or less sinful than gay people getting married, but I figured such a devout Christian should be made aware of any inadvertent sins they have committed! I mean, gay people aren’t mentioned in the Ten Commandments, and stealing is, so I’d have to assume God takes it just a bit more seriously?)

Lastly, I actually know multiple “Christian”s both on the internet and in real life. Some of them are even my relatives. Some of them are involved in church, some are not. Some have given me Christmas presents. And guess what? We all get along just fine.
