Helloooo~
Can I request a oneshot with Xiao who turned his back against Rex Lapis and Liyue for God Reader who was deemed a fake by everybody except him because he can feel the pain from his karmic debt lessening when he approaches the reader and recognized them the moment he laid eyes on them? So now Xiao becomes a fugitive and runs away with reader to protect them. I also would really appreciate it if you can put Qiqi into the mix? The little zombie becomes Xiao's and readers intel in liyue.
I hope that wasn't too confusing and if you don't want to do it, it's 100% alright.

The Vigilant Yaksha, as he had been dubbed, was nothing id not dedicated to his duty of protecting Liyue. His duty of serving under the command of Rex Lapis.
Perhaps the years had not been kind to him, wearing and tearing at him until he was frayed at the edges - but he was forged into a fighter, and that was the burden he had to bear.
The burden of his suffering under his previous master - his acts as a Yaksha - all of it had added up over the years to forge an armor of callousness around him.
His burden of Karmic debt was something painful, weighing him down each day as he fulfilled his duties - on the worst of days he wondered, if that would be the day he'd succumb to it and cease to be - torn apart from the inside out in the throes of it.
Not that he'd ever voice his concerns or pains. He was above that. He was a powerful Yaksha and he had earned his lot in life, after all. And, he had you.
Your gentle light, distant guiding presence, you who would lift his debt and ease his pain - it was all he could ask for. It was more than he deserved, even.
The winds swayed angrily as news of an imposter spread through Teyvat like wildfire - igniting all along its path with a sense of burning vengeance and desire to avenge their Creator. To put an end to the sinner's sacrilegious crimes.
Of course, Rex Lapis, one of your oldest and most devout followers and acolytes, was bound to hear of this. And hear of it he did. His eyes burned with the flames Xiao had not seen since the Archon wars of times long gone - bringing forth the god of war that Rex Lapis had once been regarded as.
His orders were absolute - to find and slay the imposter on sight. To honor the Creator by offering this imposter's blood to you, to fertilize the earth with it and snuff out any flicker of life.
He, as one of, if not the strongest of the adepti under his command - and certainly the fastest - flew through the airs like a whirlpool of vengeance. He owed all he was, to you - and lately, his Karmic debt had grown in its panful, overbearing weight - you being nowhere to be found to lessen it.
Was it your fury at the gall of this imposter that made you stray from him and the people of Teyvat?
He would assure your return - he would become a weapon once more, all to honor you.
Perhaps it was his dedication to you - or maybe the force of anemo cursing through him, but he was quick to pick up the trail of the imposter. They weren't exactly great at hiding their tracks, or even if they were, they certainly couldn't deceive the Vigilant Yaksha.
Strangely enough, as he neared the location of the imposter, he found the painful pressure threatening to crush him every waking moment easing away. He took it as a sign. A sign from you - that he was heading the right direction. That he was doing the right thing.
But how could he bring down his spear to pierce the line tethering your life to this world when you looked up at him with the face of his beloved Creator? With tears unshed still lining the corners of your eyes as you stared at him in frozen fear, quietly accepting your doom as you closed your eyes.
His spear slipped from his grasp as he staggered backwards, feeling like any burdens his shoulders carried - any fragment of his Karmic debt - it was all lifted when he neared you - the lightness and sudden reprieve from his pain was enough to make him see stars.
He stared down at you once more, fear now in his eyes as he came to a sobering, horrifying realization.
He felt tears spring in his eyes - a foreign sensation to him that burned.
"You'r grace...it's you..." he whispered.
You shook, your arms still up defensively.
"Xiao..?" you whispered.
He fell to his knees before you.
"I'm so sorry," he mumbled.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I'm sorry.
The words kept falling from his lips in a prayer as he allowed the tears to slip down his face in turmoil, washing away the layers of armor and walls he had built up over millennia.
You watched his stone façade crumble, the fragments being crushed to dust and flowing away - leaving behind what looked like a lost, confused boy.
Slowly, you rose to your feet, quiet as a mouse. The Yaksha made no move to stop you, his lips moving wordlessly as his mind raced with the thoughts of what he had almost done. He could already picture it - you being gone - Teyvat would be in more pain than it has ever been - no archon wars, no vengeful gods could compare to it.
You bent down and picked up the polearm he had discarded, holding it in your unsteady hand as you attempted to balance it in your hand. The green jade glowed faintly as your fingers danced across it, emitting a soft warmth. The weapon you had worked so hard to attain and build up in strength.
Finally, Xiao seemed to snap out of his daze, staring up at your form - positions now reversed as you towered before him, holding a glowing weapon in your shaky hand, still unable to find the proper balance.
He attempted to push himself up, filled with the need to apologize.
"Don't come any closer," you warned, attempting to threateningly jab the weapon at him, only for the tip of it to crash into the ground as it wobbled in your hand.
So much for being intimidating.
"Your grace, I have no intention to hurt you," he attempted to soothe your worries, but the sharp and aggressive edge to his voice that always seemed to linger lent no credibility to his words.
"That's not what I saw just a few minutes ago."
His teeth dug into his lower lip.
"I know. But I was mistaken."
Your eyes bore into his and he could not help but allow his heart to soar - light and floating without the insufferable pain of his Karmic debt. Yet, he clutched the organ tight and pulled it back down to the depths of his core when he saw the mistrust painted over your face - the letters in the form of dark bruises and scrapes, dirt and exhaustion.
Still. He thought you looked divine.
"Well," you stammered, still attempting to aim his own weapon at him, "if you claim to mean me no harm - then let me go."
His eyes met yours, and he was ready to serve - ready to agree to any wish you voiced. He deserved not to enjoy your soothing presence when he dared to raise the very weapon you gifted him at you.
But he recalled he was not the only one in pursuit of you.
"Your grace, you are in danger. I cannot accept the possibility of you getting hurt while I'm not here," his words were pleas, his hands shaking ever so slightly as he spoke.
You could not help but believe him. There was something so earnest about his concern.
"Why is everyone after me?" you demanded, brows furrowing as you lowered the spear. "And what's with the sudden 'your grace' this and 'your grace' that?"
He blinked up at you in surprise.
"Well - you are our divine God. The Creator. As to answer your first question..." he trailed off.
"There's been a misunderstanding about your identity. Everyone is convinced you're an imposter."
A shocked, desperate bark of a laugh escaped your lips.
"Right. That's just perfect." You ran a dirty hand through your messy hair.
"Any other life-changing news you wanna drop on me while you're at it?"
He stared up at you in silence.
You sighed.
"Okay, well get up, Xiao. This whole kneeling thing is weird," you said, your voice rising in pitch as your exasperation cracked through it. The adeptus was quick to obey, keeping his back straight as he stood before you dutifully.
"Well, how do we fix this whole 'misunderstanding', then?"
Apparently, you don't.
Xiao had eagerly rushed to Liyue - to end this foolish hunt for your head, with you in tow. All caution had been thrown to the wind as you wandered into the city - the one Xiao had sworn to protect but rarely ever dared to enter - mortals were much too complicated and exhausting for the ancient adeptus, after all.
Xiao could feel any semblance of respect and loyalty towards the Lord of Geo smash into smithereens as the ancient archon refused to believe the truth right before his eyes - refused to acknowledge he had been wrong.
What use was there in serving a god who was so blind in his devotion that he'd willingly send the true Creator to their death?
What use was there in protecting a city that was willing to hunt down their God, each eager to claim their life with their bare hands barbarically?
Rex Lapis was no better than the god he had been enslaved under, forced to perform the cruelest acts of violence.
"We have a contact, Xiao."
"My contract does not involve allowing you to order me to kill the Creator."
"You are blind, and a fool, Xiao."
"It is you who is a fool."
No matter the contracts he needed to break - none of it mattered in the face of the one divine being that held power the entirety of the universe. Held that power and still clung onto their kindness stubbornly.
He stood watch over the little camp he'd set up for you, his polearm clutched tight in his hand as his golden eyes scoured the darkness surrounding him with the precision of a panther ready to pounce. He felt his muscles tense at every noise, the familiar feeling of doom that he though he had escaped so long ago with the help of Rex Lapis washing over him.
"Hungry?" you asked from your seat by the modest fire - where you had been preparing a meal to soothe your aches.
He glanced at you, his sharp features softening for a moment.
Too kind.
He stared a moment longer, a brief rest from his lookout duties.
"No thank you, your grace. Adepti have no need for food."
You frowned.
"But you can enjoy it."
How could you say something like that to him? He who had done so many unspeakable things over the thousands of years he had spent in this world?
He simply looked away, wishing to tear his gaze from the flame lest they ignite his heart on fire, engulfing it in its painful embrace. Lest it burn away the last of what was good inside of him to nothing but cinders to be scattered in the wind.
Despite being declared a criminal - despite severing ties with the god to whom he owed his freedom - despite all that...
Living life on the run was far from unpleasant.
He took his duty as your guard seriously, never venturing out into areas he deemed too dangerous, never letting his focus falter.
Still, he was acutely aware that it was not only mere mortals that were chasing after him and the Creator.
"Xiao, are you alright?" you asked, tenderly approaching him despite his orders for you to stay in your small tent. He turned to face you, his weapon tight in his hand by his side, ready to attack at any moment's notice.
"Of course, your Grace. There's no need to concern yourself with my wellbeing," he lowered himself to one knee and lowered his head.
"I am but a weapon to you, your grace."
As soon as those words slipped out of his mouth, he was yanked to his feet by you, gripping onto his shirt, a frustrated, yet melancholy expression upon your divine face.
"Absolutely not, Xiao."
His body tensed and he lowered his eyes to his ground.
Had he disrespected you?
"You are not just some weapon, Xiao! You're not even just a guard, either!" your hands clenched the white fabric of his clothing tighter as you stared into his eyes with a determined glint in yours.
"You are a person and to be frank, the only person in Teyvat I could even call a friend."
His hands shook, and for the second time in your divine presence, his weapon escaped his grip as he felt something heavy - not his Karmic debt. Something more emotional than that, being lifted from his shoulders.
He stared at his shaking hand and the discarded weapon in shame, not saying anything in return.
You sighed and picked up his weapon for him, only to snatch his wrist when he went to retrieve it.
Your eyes met once more, yours burning with a determined flame.
"You are not just a weapon. And you are not just your past." You released his arm and allowed him to take the polearm.
"You better remember that," you called over your shoulder as you headed back towards your shabby tent to attempt to get some shut eye.
Your words left Xiao lost in a void of swirling emotions he had no idea how to even begin to address.
Perhaps, for now - all he could do was fulfil his duty to you and...try to sort out his confusion at a later, safer time.
He put out the last remains of your campfire and began his vigilant watch. It was all he could do.
Sometimes, you would simply stop to gather plants - flowers you found pretty, or berries you recalled from recipes. Xiao watched in bewitched silence as you recognized every tree, plant and animal you came across - the way the world bloomed around you. He could not help feeling like one of those wilted flowers you touched - his petals suddenly coming to life and straining towards you.
"Hmm. This should work for the mint salad," you muttered to yourself as you plucked jueyun chilies off of the small bush, gathering them upon the palm of your hand - not caring if it would stain them. After all, a life on the run had lead to your standards of appearance dropping significantly.
Xiao glimpsed at you, a fulfilled sigh escaping his lips as he saw you smiling gently while gathering supplies. Honestly, seeing you do anything was fulfilling for the Yaksha.
Suddenly, his head snapped towards a faint rustle nearby, his serenity ebbing away as he readied his weapon to pounce upon whatever danger may be near.
Noticing Xiao's sudden change in demeanor, you frowned.
"Stay here, your grace. I will deal with whatever it is."
You simply rolled your eyes and followed him quietly as he approached the sounds. He was tense, eyes narrowed as he scoured the area.
Suddenly, seeing movement, he raised his spear to strike down whoever the figure was. His arm shot up as he prepared to launch himself, only to be stopped hi your hand gripping his arm.
Confused, his eyes flickered to yours.
"Stop," you whispered - and all he could do was obey, lowering his weapon.
You smiled as you watched a pale, familiar girl quietly gathering herbs, her movements a little stiff as she immersed herself in her work.
"Qiqi," you spoke, unable to restrain yourself as the recognition washed over you.
The girl, upon hearing her own name, froze, looking around aimlessly for the source of the noise.
You gently pushed past Xiao, who was still gripping his weapon tight, cheeks tinged a delicate pink from your touch. Approaching Qiqi with a concerned expression, you caught the little zombie's attention.
"Hello, Qiqi - what are you doing so far out from Liyue?" you asked carefully, crouching before her.
She stared vacantly at you, before looking around hesitantly, as though finally taking in her surroundings. Slowly, she reached for her little bag and pulled out a small notebook, flipping the pages until something akin to realization flickered in her eyes.
"I am looking for herbs," she replied, voice flat and quiet as she looked up at you with an unreadable expression.
"Oh? What herbs?" you asked, your voice perking up as you spoke to the girl - the one upside of her foggy memory would most likely be that she probably wasn't even aware of your status as a wanted criminal.
She slowly listed off a couple, and you listened patiently, paying no mind to Xiao who was stood nearby, watching the interaction awkwardly.
"Well, I think I should have some of these," you told her, plucking them out of your little makeshift bag and holding them out for you.
"Thank you...but I ordered myself to gather them..." she mumbled, lowering her gaze.
Right. She worked on orders.
Still...
Your gaze landed on the setting sun. Zombie or not - capable in combat or not - you felt uncomfortable allowing the young girl to be out that late all by herself.
Then, you recalled your knowledge of the girl.
Hesitantly, you reached your arms out and pulled the girl closer. She stumbled into your embrace, making a surprised noise.
"I love you the most, Qiqi," you said softly, closing your eyes and meaning every word you said.
The girl slowly placed her hands on your cheeks, and you opened your eyes, a smile still upon your lips.
"Thank you...kind traveler," she spoke softly.
You chuckled and offered her the herbs once more. This time, she accepted them with a gentle thank you.
"How about we get you back to Liyue, Qiqi?"The
The Yaksha followed quietly, still on his guard, as you gently held the undead girl's hand in yours despite the coldness of it. She occasionally gazed up at you with a strange expression - one that could almost be read as fondness. Xiao supposed he shouldn't be too surprised - you were the Creator, after all. Of course your warmth would call forth love for you.
You escorted the small girl to the edge of Liyue, before coming to a halt.
"I think you can find your way home from here," you ruffled her hair gently and she stared up at you.
"Why are you not coming to the city?"
"Well..." you glanced at Xiao. "We aren't welcome in Liyue."
She lowered her gaze, seeming a little befuddled.
"I see...But how will I be able to meet you again, then?" she asked, her voice earnest despite its flatness.
You all but melted at her words, tears brimming in your eyes.
"You want to meet us again?"
She nodded.
"Well..." you bit your lip. You were constantly on the move, after all.
"Just call my name, whenever you wish to see us," Xiao spoke up, breaking the silence. Your eyes widened as you stared at the adeptus.
Qiqi allowed him to take her notebook and write simple instructions for her, his brows furrowed, but you could tell he was trying his best to not come off as intimidating.
Soon, you bid Qiqi farewell and were on your way again. You couldn't help the smile stretched upon your lips as you walked beside the Yaksha.
"That was sweet of you, Xiao."
He glanced at you from the corner of his eyes, and despite the darkness falling upon the earth and hiding his features, you could tell his cheeks were burning up.
"Just doing my duty."
You chuckled and shook your head.
"If you say so."
Over time, you grew used to life on the run. Every now and then, you would meet up with Qiqi, who you pampered with affection she clearly wasn't receiving from Baizhu. She began writing more about her days in Liyue - something you and Xiao found most useful when avoiding the milileth and other forces of Liyue sent to hunt you down. You felt a sense of ease around Xiao - and he had to admit that during all his years upon this land, he had never felt quite as free and even...happy as he did when you.
However, all good things must come to an end.
The ground below you erupted - pillars of stone bursting out and cornering you and Xiao as the Geo archon glowered down at you in distaste.
"Any final words?" he spoke, his low voice rumbling with an anger akin to earthquakes. Xiao pushed you behind him as he clutched his weapon, glaring back with a fiery fury of his own.
"I will not allow you to harm the creator!" he spat, any loyalty to Morax long gone with the winds that carried him to his journey with you.
Zhongli simply scoffed.
"You have been led stray, Xiao. Led astray by the deception of this imposter." He aimed his weapon at you, causing you to flinch. It only made Xiao shake with anger as he did his best to shield you from Zhongli's view.
"You're wrong, Morax."
"I will admit, the disguise is quite convincing. If I wasn't as knowledgeable and loyal to the true Cretor - I may have fallen under their spell too, Xiao." He smirked coldly.
"Xiao. Step aside and allow me to end this preposterous farce, and you will earn forgiveness. I am sure the Creator will be kind enough to forgive you your sins."
Xiao bared his teeth.
"Over my dead body," he spat.
Zhongli sighed, a glimmer of regret flashing across his face as he stared down at the two.
"Very well, Xiao."
His polearm came down with the swiftness of a rolling stone, gaining momentum as it plummeted downhill.
Your lips parted in a soundless scream of agony as you watched it mercilessly pierce Xiao.
You could barely see his limp form slump onto the ground through your tears as you sank to your knees beside him.
"How could you?!" you spat angrily, tears flowing across your face in angry rivers as you cradled Xiao's bleeding body.
The blood.
So much blood.
"He used to look up to you! Worship you for saving him!" your voice was raw and filled with emotion that ricocheted off of the pillars surrounding you, sending wide cracks through them.
Zhongli - no, Morax, stared at you, stared at the weapon in his gloved hand, and said nothing.
What could he say, when the Creator themselves was before him, crying shimmering tears brimming over with the stars of the galaxy?
He had been blind, after all.
Your shimmering tears fell in raging fury, never-ending as the rain that took over the clear blue skies of Liye. Your heart heavy, and cracked as the earth below you when you held Xiao's limp form close.
"Xiao, please..." you whispered, shaky fingers attempting to stop the bleeding - attempting to ease the pain he was undoubtedly in without bringing any more to him.
You ran a bloody hand through his hair, brushing aside the strands as you gazed at his face - growing paler by the minute as blood seeped from his wound.
You choked back a sob and gently laid him down. You could see the way his chest was rising and falling - but it was growing slower and more strained with each passing moment.
"You idiot," you muttered, voice hoarse from your emotional outburst. You tore at your clothes, barely able to rip off pieces to attempt to bandage him up.
Your furious eyes burned at Zhongli, who was frozen in place, drenched from the sudden onslaught of rain.
"Do something!" you shouted, cut off by your own sob. "Get a healer - do something useful!" you clenched your fists as you received no answer and simply stared at the unconscious man before you, tears unceremoniously dropping onto his form - not that you cared to pay it any mind as your own wet hair clung to your face. It was cold. It was all so cold and lifeless as your heart raced but left your mind empty of nothing but pain.
You watched Xiao take one more shaky breath, before his chest stopped moving.
You screamed. At Zhongli. At Teyvat. At everything that had lead to this injustice being allowed to occur. Screamed until your voice was raw and you could taste blood in your throat - and then some more.
Finally, you clung to the bloody and damp shirt clinging to Xiao's form, burying your face in it - allowing the coppery scent of blood to wade into your nostrils as you choked out wails.
It was all so cold.
And then, suddenly - it was warm.
You looked up in surprise - only to see the wound soaked in crimson blood just moments earlier - starting to close rapidly. You slammed a hand in front of your mouth as you watched it close up and leave behind only a golden mark in the shape of a diamond where it had been.
Your hands, still soaked with the red blood, move to cup his face, staining it - not that you cared at the moment. Your eyes stared at his face in desperation.
For any sign of life.
"Your...grace?" he mumbled, slowly opening his golden eyes. Eyes that shone much brighter and more golden than ever before.
You choked out another sob and pulled him closer, pressing your forehead against his - not caring that your drenched hair clung to your face and that your hands were still dirty. You stroked his cheeks, shedding tears of joy as he stared up at you.
"Have I finally reached the afterlife?" Xiao murmured, his own hand weakly brushing against yours.
"No, you idiot!" you tried to scold, but the smile on your cracked lips gave away your true feelings.
Slowly and gently, still unaware of how healed he truly was, you aided him to his feet, allowing him to lean on you. You could see Zhongli on his knees, a horrified expression etched onto his features.
Good.
You'd deal with him later.
"How could you say something so stupid?" you whimpered, holding the adeptus close. "I thought you were dead!"
"I was fulfilling my duty to protect you, your grace."
You stared up at him in exasperation.
"What about your duty not to break my heart?!" You clutched his shirt, glaring up at him.
"What do you mean, your grace?" he looked confused and ashamed nonetheless, for upsetting you.
"If you had died - then how could I have gone on? I love you, you stupid, stubborn, edgy Yaksha!"
He stared at you in awe, tears shimmering in his own eyes.
Your hands crept into his hair - crunching under your fingers from the dried blood within it - and you gently pulled his face closer, your eyes clashing as both of you stared into the other's soul.
"I love you too, your grace," ha managed to say, voice barely above a whisper.
You laughed, before giving his lips a gentle peck.
"I'm glad that we see eyes to eye on that."
You allowed yourself that moment of peace, embracing Xiao, before turning back to Zhongli.
He was still on his knees, his eyes staring up at you in shame.
"You are...god. Such an asshole!' you sputtered, your anger resurfacing.
Zhongli lowered his gaze without daring to say a word.
"I expect you to...call off your minions from chasing us. And to leave us the fuck alone after that!"
He nodded quietly, his shoulders tensing.
You paid him no further mind.
You held Xiao close, allowing his weakened form to lean on you as you carried his weapon for him.
"Would you like to see Wangshu Inn again?" you asked gently. "We could get some almond tofu...and some rest.."
He sighed.
"Adepti need no-"
You cut him off.
"No. You will have a nice long bath. Have Almond tofu. And get some damned sleep, you stubborn Yaksha."
He sighed.
"Yes, your grace."
You simply smiled and pecked his cheek.
Perhaps life would become a little easier now - for both you and Xiao.
You could hope for nothing more.

Hello luv 💞 I am once again dropping Zhongli brainrot thingz,,, gosh this is becoming a Habit,,, God! Reader and Morax sleep together at night 🛌 right? The first time it happened, morax was so hesitant since he thought it would be disrespectful despite it being reader's wish. He quickly got used to it though, he especially liked it when reader would burrow into the crook of his neck, cuddling further into his hold. There were times reader would be burrowed in his warmth in bed or at some random chair but their hands were wrapped around his neck either playing with his hair, massaging his scalp, or caressing his horns and he'd let out this deep rUmBLes or pUrrs of content 🐉, tail wrapping around reader's leg or waist and reader would melt in adoration for him. Some days, reader would just burst into random affectionate moods, climb up his lap and shower his face with kisses Like sIr pLz aCcePt mY LoVe 😩😩. BTW it also had me thinking wHaT dO tHey eVen dO aLL dAy?!?? Hope u enjoy this thought

The first few nights you spend under Zhongli's care were full of anxiety - paranoia gnawing at your mind at every sudden movement or sound. It made Zhongli feel more than guilty - quick to apologize that his, or his employees' actions might have startled you - even though you were quick to assure him it wasn't his fault, he still felt responsible.
He wished for your stay with him to be as relaxing and safe. as possible. He made arrangements quickly, simply by observing your reactions or things you might say in a passing comment - anything you indicated was to be taken by gospel.
Soon, the whole abode, including your luxurious bedroom, was covered in scented candles, gentle wafts of lavender, sage and chamomile floating through the whole area. Your bed was stocked with plenty of pillows and blankets - should you need them for more comfort.
The finest assortments of teas were brought to Zhongli, and he picked out the finest from those - making sure each one held soothing qualities to help ease your mind when the darkness of night crept closer and amplified your anxieties.
He was willing to do anything for you, his god. Despite the affection you so graciously gifted him, he held no delusions of grandeur as to be so arrogant to attempt to climb into bed with you. However, his nights were spent guarding your room, ready to surge in at any sign of distress.
It was one of those distressful nights. You were weeping into your pillow, hand cupped over your mouth as you trembled from the aftermath of the nightmares plaguing your mind. Nightmares of visions much too real - things you had been forced to experience at the hands of your so-called loyal followers.
Zhongli has carefully rushed into your room, wide eyes with fear as he watched your shaking form curled up and covered in a sheen of cold sweat.
Oh how he hated seeing his beloved God suffer so. It tore at his heart, trampled on it and clenched around it tightly.
"Your Grace, how may I help you?" he asked quietly, his voice barely above a whisper as he kneeled beside the bed.
Your teary eyes met his, and your sniffle broke his heart.
"Please, stay," you whispered, voice cracking.
His breath caught in his chest, but he nodded quickly and stayed on his knees, taking in a guarding pose - ready to strike anyone who dared to attack.
You frowned, before shuffling towards the other side of the bed. You lifted the covers and patted the mattress invitingly.
"I meant sleep. Sleep here with me, please?"
"Your grace, I couldn't possibly...it'd be improper.." he stammered, his cheeks flushing red as your words brought forward a more boyish side oh him - one that had been gone for very long.
You sat up, wiping your tears.
"Is it improper for us to kiss and hug?"
"Well...as long as your Grace wishes it, it is not-"
"Then why would sharing a bed be?" you questioned, pulling your knees up to your chest and hugging them.
"It's very...intimate. A privilege for consorts only," he responded slowly, averting his eyes.
He could never dare to imagine of such a position.
You sighed.
"Well. You'll be my consort, then."
He stared at you in shock.
"As long as you want to, of course."
"Your grace..." he whispered, his smooth voice becoming rocky at your words.
"So...do you?"
He nodded eagerly, tears welling up in his ancient eyes. You smiled a loving, tired smile at him.
"Now get in bed with me, Morax," you mumbled, patting the mattress.
And he did. Hesitantly.
He climbed onto the space beside you and kept still, not wanting to disturb you with his horns or tail - parts that he kept visible due to your apparent love for them.
You shuffled closer, draping an arm around him.
"May I hold you?" you asked, looking up at him with the sweetest gaze.
"I just...you make me feel safe, Morax."
He could almost cry at your words.
"Of course, your grace. I would never deny you anything, my dearest."
He felt delight pulsing through him as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling yourself closer to him before burying your face in the crook of his neck. You took in a satisfied breath, inhaling his familiar scent as you closed your eyes.
"Love you..." you muttered, leaving Zhongli stunned. His tail worked its way around you of its own volition, pulling you closer as he wrapped his arms around you.
He exhaled shakily.
"I...you too, your grace," he mumbles, feeling heat rising to his face. You simply chuckled, the air escaping your lips tickling his collarbones. At that, you felt a rumbling begin in Zhongli's chest. You stayed still for a moment, listening. Peeking up at Zhongli, you noticed that he had closed his eyes - his face peaceful as he held you close.
Was he...purring?
You smiled as you nuzzled him.
Soon enough, the gentle rumble of his chest lulled you to sleep - giving you a long awaited peaceful night devoid of cruel nightmares of your past.
So, over time, you fell into a routine.
Morax held you each night and warded off the cruel demons trying to disturb your sleep - glowing with delight at being given the opportunity to hold you close.
Each morning, you awoke to delicious breakfast tailed to your wants, which you could enjoy in bed - or anywhere else should you want to. Morax showered you in 'offerings' - beautiful gems, garments, jewelry - anything you could possibly want or need.
During the lazier days, you stayed inside with him, afternoons spent with you climbing onto his lap and listening to him talk of the past with a honey-smooth voice that lulled you to sleep. He'd discuss matters of the world with you, accompany you in the lush garden of the abode, watching you bring plants to life with your divine presence. He enjoyed those days most - especially when you held his hand gently as you watched the sun set slowly, painting the skies red.
Some days, he would accompany you to go exploring Liyue - never outside of it - he saw how you flinched at the mention of other nations, after all. The adepti would keep vigilant watch over you from a distance as you wandered around the planes and forests the nation had to offer, enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.
And then, on occasion - you would have more pressing matters as the Creator. Meetings with the Qixing, discussing the wellbeing of the nation. Morax was always by your side, standing watch - or occasionally sat beside you and squeezing your hand gently in encouragement.
He held every moment spent with you close to his heart. He adored you. Liyue adored you - and his union with you (which was bound to cause a stir amongst the other nations once word got out, of course), all of Teyvat worshipped you.
But he doubted any being on Teyvat could revere and adore you quite as much as you did.
When your hands gently trailed across his horns in feather-light touches. When your lips pressed loving blessings upon his face - there was nothing he wouldn't do for you. He'd fight a dozen more wars, he'd take down every archon if he must - all to see your beautiful smile meant just for him.

An unwelcome ambush
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Word travels fast.
Especially so, when all of Liyue was practically flaunting your presence within it, throwing countless celebrations in your name, and busily making preparations for your impending union with the Geo Archon.
Patron of Geo.
They would name you as such, adoration lacing their voices as they sang praise for you.
Anyone would be proud to be the nation chosen by the Creator. The being above all beings.
So, word traveled fast indeed.
News reached Mondstadt first - being a neighbouring nation of Liyue, connected in all matters of trade and politics. It was only a matter of time before the winds carried over news of the creator taking up residence in Liyue.
Of the creator being forsaken by other nations and only being given aid by the land of contracts.
Venti was quick to panic, gathering up the best of the knights of Favonius and urging them to accompany him to visit the creator. To plead for forgiveness for turning their back on them. Lavish offerings were gathered - anything you might enjoy packaged in the finest chests - anything to show the Creator they meant well.
It took a little longer for the news to reach the unattainable lands of eternity - the Raiden's fury over the imposter and their unexplainable escape lead to large, angry storms of lightning that rocked the sea around it ferociously.
Still - the whispers of the true Creator finally reached her. She failed to connect the dots between this so called imposter and the Creator - simply baffled over why they'd choose to stay in Liyue of all nations.
That being said, she was quick to make arrangements to visit them personally. To tell them of her relentless attempts to avenge them, to eradicate the imposter daring to wear their face and name.
Liyue was decorated lavishly - streets filled with joyous people - red decor with the symbols of happiness all around. People of all ages and stations were busy buying gifts and offerings for The Creator, and the city sung with glee that radiated off the prosperous nation in waves.
Not one frown could be in the oceans of people, all too preoccupied to pay mind to the foreigners entering the city. At least, the regular citizens were.
Morax had been quick to station adepti all around Liyue, to ensure the safety of his beloved Creator. And word travels fast.
The palace was guarded dutifully by the Milileth, keeping the excited masses at bay as they all eagerly awaited the appearance of the Creator.
It was a joyous day, after all.
Among the celebrating crowds, the Archon of Anemo and Archon of Electro were watching in confusion, feeling the energy of their God radiate from the palace in waves but unable to approach. It left them standing by idly with their entourage, waiting with bated breath for whatever the crowds had gathered there for.
Hoping to catch a glimpse of their god.
Slowly, dreadfully so, the doors of the balcony overlooking the town square peeked open.
Your beautiful form - cloaked in red robes - golden embellishings gleaming in the sun and giving you a divine glow - stepped out to face the eager masses. Beside you - a man, dressed in a similar manner - followed suite, his fingers laced with yours in a gentle hold.
Horns poking out from under neatly combed strands of burnt umber hair - long and tied into a neat, yet simple style.
Your divine face - a glistening expression of addicting joy upon it - was focused on the man - the archon beside you as you leaned onto him gently.
The Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing stepped out to the square, wearing attire more formal than usual and her guarded expression melted away to reveal a sincere smile.
"We have all gathered here today to celebrate the union of our beloved Creator - and their consort - Rex Laps," she announced, her words followed by cheering from the masses.
Gently, you waved at the people, your lips moving to flash your toothy smile as your ring glinted proudly in the sun. Morax gently caressed your hand and brought it to his lips.
His very own matching ring was clear to all witnesses.
Venti felt his heart sink upon the sight. Upon seeing you in the arms of another archon - the oldest and most viscous in his prime years. The strings of his heart were pulled taunt, shattering with an off-key wail upon his chest. He felt his knees weaken under him as he recalled your face - desperate and bruised as you asked, no, begged for asylum. For help from his nation.
And he had turned you away.
Perhaps, he thought bitterly, it might be him kissing your knuckles - him you looked at with adoring eyes as you announced your union to the crowds, had he not turned his back on you.
There was a bitter taste on his tongue.
No, he was not worthy of your love.
But neither was Morax.
Ei watched in horror as you allowed the beastly man - his nails replaced with amber claws - sharp horns prodding from his head - to lovingly caress you.
She could not allow for such an union.
Not when she had been so loyal. So dedicated to honoring you that she left her own plane to deal with a foul imposter for you.
No.
She would not allow this.
Two archons stormed past the armed Milileth after the formal ending of the wedding ceremony - followed by their companions - all wielding strong visions and weapons that made no attempt to refrain from intimidating the guards.
What was a mere mortal to two archons and their powerful companions?
You were seated in the lounge, resting delicately upon the plush sofa beside your beloved, sharing soothing tea as you enjoyed each others' company. Your hands delicately stroked his, admiring each ridge of his claws and the gentle expression within his gaze was enough to send you over the moon.
"Are you sure you want to be tied to someone like me?" Zhongli asked quietly, his thumb caressing your hand in return as your gaze met his.
"Don't be silly. Of course I do," you replied quietly, gently pressing your forehead to his.
It was a moment of pure, peaceful bliss.
And then, the doors swung open with a heavy bang.
You jumped, heart suddenly racing as your body jerked, knocking over your porcelain cup and shattering it upon the floor in a deafening sound - shards and steaming tea flying across the room.
Zhongli stiffened, his arm quick to move in front of you, ready to pounce on whoever dared to frighten his beloved.
When his eyes met with the violent violet within the Raiden's gaze, he saw red. The ever-carefree bard with a hardened expression stood behind her, adding fuel to the flames.
"How dare you disturb the creator - or even show your face around them, after what you've done?" he roared, slowly rising to his feet as you stared at the two in shock. Your eyes were glued to the Electro Archon, tremors running through your frame as you relived the memory of lightning coursing through your body violently - threatening to tear up your insides in burning agony.
"How dare I?" Ei exclaimed, her eyes glowing with the rage of a thunderstorm.
"You kept our Creator hidden so you could manipulate them into making you their consort!" The accusations flew harshly across the room, echoing off of every surface and ringing in your ears.
Instinctively, you squeezed your eyes shut, reminded of her anger directed at you.
"I was protecting them from you." Zhongli's voice lowered as he saw your reactions, however they were laced with no less malic.
"You almost killed them - accusing them of being an imposter."
A heavy silence hung across the room, thick and suffocating. You felt yourself getting a little faint as you wished you were anywhere else.
"What...?" Ei's eyes drifted to you slowly, a cold fear igniting in the pit of her stomach.
It couldn't be...
Your sleeves had shifted up as you'd dropped your cup, revealing your forearm.
Your forearm that bore jagged marks, like golden ink on wet paper - bleeding out into painful lightning bolts.
Scars she had imposed upon you herself.
Her legs gave out under her - her prideful figure collapsing onto its knees as she stared at you in horror. Stared as you wrapped your arms around yourself - eyes darting towards possible exits - possible ways to get away from her.
She wanted to scream.
To beg.
To allow apologies to fall from her lips in worship until her throat was raw - bleeding from exertion.
But she could do no such thing - her words stuck in her throat behind a heavy, painful lump that cut off her air.
Venti took this as an opportunity to surge forward like a stray gust of wind, gracefully kneeling before you and looking up at you with his sweetest expression.
Sweet like the almond aroma of almonds.
Pearly teeth of a snake.
"Your grace, I'm so sorry," he whispered, tears brimming in his own eyes as he stared into yours.
"My behavior towards you was uncouth and unforgivable. I should never have behaved the way I did -I don't know what came over-"
His incessant rambling was cut off by Zhongli stepping in front of him, blocking you from his view.
With threateningly glowing eyes and sharp, deadly horns - he stared down the two disgraced archons with the full fury of a dragon - his tail swiftly flickering from side to side.
"Leave." He ordered, his deep voice seemingly rattling the ground beneath the palace.
Silence fell upon the room, no one moving an inch.
That is, until you rose from the sofa.
Your hand gently rested on Zhongli's bicep, trying to hide the way it trembled.
"Leave, please," you whispered under your breath, but the two archons kneeling before you heard you loud and clear.
"I have no wish to see either of you."
With a shaky inhale, you turned and exited the room, your beautiful crimson robes dipped in gold dragging behind you.
Zhongli glowered at the two, unafraid to remind them of his days as Morax, the god of war.
"Don't ever approach my beloved again without their consent. Or you will both risk sending your nations to war." He turned to follow where you had headed.
"And trust me, I know war," he called out over his shoulder, before parting in order to find you.
He was sure the Yaksha stationed outside the room would deal with them swiftly - making sure their presence no longer tainted Liyue.
Once you reached your bedroom, you allowed yourself to crumble onto the bed - paying no mind to the beautiful robes - how they might crease or stain.
No - you simply needed to allow your tears to flow loosely. To allow your body to shake in a might comparable to the earth. Your eyes wound shut tightly - all you could see was the lightning and the very sea you'd almost drowned in.
The pain. The fear. The pain. The fear. The panic. The cold. The numbness. The sleep-
The gentle, warm hands wrapping themselves around you. Stroking your hair gently. Warm lips pressing kisses upon your temple.
The familiar scent of sandalwood infused in lemon wafted across the room, as you finally opened your eyes.
Morax nuzzled your neck gently, his arms wrapped around your figure protectively.
"I'm sorry...I..."
He hushed you gently.
"You have nothing to apologize for, my dearest. They were in the wrong for daring to try and ambush you like this." He pressed a gentle kiss upon your nose.
"I'll make sure the guard is doubled. And I'll make sure you never see them again unless you want to."
Your lips quirked upwards a little.
"Thank you, Zhongli," you whispered into his chest.
The familiar, soothing rumble of his chest was all you needed to calm your racing heart.
"Anything for you, my grace. Anything for my beloved."

So here's FINALLY the next part of Teyvat's Wielder!! Diluc hours BAYEBEEEE!!! Also I will probably be working faster on this since I have next week off (but no promises cus motivation is a bitch)
Length: 1.8 k

Gloved hands lit a candle with ease, setting it down upon the lone table in the center of the cramped space. It cast a dim glow within the room - barely lighting it enough for the two figures to see each other within the darkness.
With a smooth motion of the hand, the well-dressed gentleman motioned for the alchemist to take a seat, before sitting down himself.
For a moment, the two sat in silence. Diluc crossed his arms and raised a brow.
“What brings the chief alchemist of Mondstadt to this corner of the city?” he asked, his voice casual, but gaze piercing as he studied every detail of the man before him.
Albedo’s lips formed a tight line, as his brows furrowed ever so slightly - a rare display of emotion from the usually stoic alchemist. Diluc leaned forward ever so slightly - intrigued.
“I require...assistance."
Diluc brows raised quizzically.
"Oh? And why come to me - instead of, say, the knights of Favonius?" he pressed, voice dripping with disdain at the mention of the knights - a bitter taste still on his tongue, tainted by his time spent there.
Albedo's eyes bore into his with a cold determination.
"I believe we both have our issues with the knights, at present."
Diluc's lips formed a bitter smirk as he leaned back in his seat.
"And what has caused the shining star of the knights to this revelation? Surely, they pay and treat you well, no?"
"This is about a matter more ecclesiastical than any amount of mora - or reputation."
This caught Diluc's attention.
Albedo was quick to notice the shift in the young gentleman's attitude. His shoulders tensed, eyes narrowing slightly as he straightened his posture.
"Oh?" his voice was strained somewhat, even despite his efforts to coat it with an air of nonchalant disinterest. Still, Albedo knew he had the man hooked now. All he had to do was to play his cards right - see if he had made the right call for your wellbeing.
"Have you felt the presence of the Creator, recently?" he was direct with his pointed question, knowing just how to catch the man off guard. Diluc's dedication to his god was no secret - he had funded many monuments built in your name, and occasionally, when he'd thought himself alone, he'd been spotted praying before statues of you - clouded by the dark night.
Diluc hesitated in answering, his face showing a flicker of doubt. A flicker of fear.
"I assume that you have not?"
"Why do you ask?" his voice was defensive, his fingers flexing slightly in an attempt to soothe the storm of emotions swirling within him.
"We'll get to that in a moment," he spoke, his voice lowering even despite the very slim chance of them being heard by the patrons of the tavern.
"Do you recall the..." he paused for a moment, attempting to figure out the right way to phrase his words, "imposter situation?"
Diluc's brows furrowed.
"I suppose."
"Did you ever see them?"
His form tensed even more, a feeling of dread building up in his chest.
"No. The knights were quick to whisk them away from what I heard. And they apparently escaped soon after."
Good. That meant Diluc had not attacked the Creator, at the very least.
"Why are you coming to me with all these questions, Albedo?"
His gaze met Diluc's once more in a stern stand-off.
"Because the Creator has arrived in Teyvat."
The silence was suffocating - air thick enough with tension that it could almost be touched. The small room was heating up, the vision upon the young Ragnvindr's belt beginning to emit a faint glow.
"They...are?" he managed to ask, attempting to keep his cool, yet the excitement within his chest - the anxious eagerness to meet the only one who could soothe him, even if for short periods of time - was overwhelming.
"Yes. And they've been declared an imposter by the nations of Teyvat."
"A wanted criminal - sentenced to death by our very nation."
Diluc wanted nothing more than to storm into the knights' headquarters and allow them to taste his blazing blade - to set on fire all who had dared to wrong the creator - but he simply gripped the edge of the table and bore his gaze into Albedo's.
"They need a place to hide. To recover. Until we come up with a plan of action. Can you be trusted with keeping them safe?"
He inhaled sharply through his teeth, a hiss whistling through them in doing so.
"Of course. I would protect them with my life."
"Good."
Albedo stood up quietly.
"We leave as soon as you close up the tavern."
The first rays of the morning sun peeked into the mouth of the cave you resided in - managing to pierce through the veil of clouds and snow. You shifted on your temporary place of rest, pulling the little blanket tighter against your body as you felt the cool air slowly beginning to drag you out from under the comforting embrace of sleep.
With a tired sigh, you allowed your eyes to flutter open, taking in your surroundings. For a moment, you felt a spike of fear at the unfamiliarity - before remembering the previous day. Your gaze danced around the cave - still no Albedo. Slowly and gently - as to not wake the girl huddled up next to you, you brought up your hand to your face, relaxing your fingers and revealing the geo vision sat upon your palm.
Would he be back soon? And would he really help you?
Only time would tell, you supposed.
Carefully, you slid out from under the blanket, tucking Klee back in before trudging over to the mouth of the cave. For a moment, you shuddered as your bare feet made contact with the cold floor of the cave - but as though sensing your discomfort, it quickly heated up.
At least the world wasn't against you, even if many people were.
You peeked out into the snow, watching flakes float down gently, beautiful unique crystals shimmering in the sunlight before merging in with the carpet of thick, fluffy snow already coating the ground. A few plants peeked out from underneath the sea of white, coated in a thin layer of frost, giving them a beautiful shimmer.
You sighed, feeling almost content for a moment.
That was, until you noticed a figure approaching. There was no doubt in your mind about who it was - the dark clothing and hair ablaze in the colors of a crimson flame contrasted with the blinding white of the snow - making him stand out immediately. You were quick to retreat into the cave, feeling a rising panic within you at the thought of the Darknight hero - undeniably a force to be reckoned with - nearing your location.
You grabbed your footwear, sliding it on as you quietly backed away from the entrance, the instinct of fear instilled within you. Would you be able to make it past him, if need be? You hoped so. You were going to try at least, if push came to shove. Meeting your end at the mercy of his blazing claymore was not something you desired.
You heard footsteps approaching the cave - and took in a deep breath.
Only to release it in relief when you saw the familiar form of the alchemist enter first - followed by a surprisingly hesitant Diluc.
All words escaped the red haired man as his eyes laid upon you - despite your cowering form, back pressed against the wall of the cave - he recognized your presence immediately. The comforting warmth you radiated was nothing like that of the searing flames of his vision - no. It was a soft, kind warmth. A warmth he seldom felt since the day his childhood ended.
He lowered himself to one knee in respect, his crimson eyes burning into your form like hungry flames - lapping at your every feature. Every golden line upon your visage.
He was awed.
But that awe was quick to ignite into burning fury towards the knights of Favonius.
How could they not recognize you, when he could? When it was clear as day to someone as jaded as him? Were they blind?
Your eyes flickered to albedo, who stood by quietly, his expression that of deep contemplation.
"Your Grace," Diluc spoke, his voice unusually soft, as though the very flames he commanded had melted away his harsh exterior.
You waved awkwardly, still not quite getting the whole Creator nonsense, but it beat being pulverized by his claymore any day.
"Diluc is here to escort you to safety," Albedo spoke quietly, glancing at the girl still dozing where you'd left her.
"Dragonspine is not often disturbed by unwelcome visitors, but we believe you'd be safer and...more comfortable, at Dawn Winery."
Your brows furrowed.
"You believe? Look - I appreciate it all, but...I was fine where I was staying previously-"
"Your Grace, please," Diluc's crimson eyes pleaded with you as he rose to his feet. "Allow me the honor of housing you until we set justice afoot."
You sighed. Could you trust Diluc? He seemed sincere enough, but still...
"Fine. I'll come with you. For now, at least," you reluctantly agreed. The flicker of joy within the tall man's eyes did not go unnoticed by you, but you said nothing as you carefully approached Albedo to hand over his vision.
"I will be working diligently to help you, your Grace," he spoke softly, bowing his head as he took the glowing item.
"And I will assign my network to get to work as soon as we arrive back at the manor," Diluc said, his voice steady and almost eager.
You nodded slowly.
"Alright."
Faster than you thought possible, you were cloaked in a mundane, dull robe - every identifiable feature covered by the woolen fabric. You were bidding farewell to the bubbly girl, holding her in a gentle hug. Quietly thanking the alchemist, despite the doubt still eating away at you.
And so - you were whisked away by the tall redhead. His protective arm around you as he guided you eagerly, his hand resting on your mid-back gently.
Diluc's mind was racing at the sensation of being near you. Of touching your divine form. He took in the sights of the snow melting away to clear paths for you - marveled at the way life bloomed for you. There was not a single doubt in his mind about your divinity.
Still, he could tell there were doubts in your mind. Regarding him - the alchemist - anything or anyone, it seemed. And he could not fault you for that. Fate had not been kind to you - and he knew all too well how difficult a shattered heart and broken trust could be to mend.
That being said. He was not one to quit easily. And he would make sure your stay with him would be one that you did not regret.

Be a Gladiolus in a Field of Belldonnas pt5
Memories of a Flower
(Summary): After deciding that learning the original 7 seven elements first would make learning abyssal magic more easier you and company run into a fit of a road block
Part 1 Last Part Next Part
✧ Masterlist ✧
(Characters): traveler!Lumine, abyss prince!Aether, Paimon, the Aranaras, ???, & ???
(Warnings): Cursing, spoilers for the last part of the Sumeru archon quest, and talks about bumping uglies at the very end (so a bit NSFW-ish?)
(A/n): Apologies if the Sanskrit is a bit inaccurate, couldn’t find many accurate translators. And yes from now on these parts will have their own titles
∘◦ ✧ ◦∘ means flashback
Italics means present reader’s thoughts
(S/n) = song name
─────────── ✧ ───────────
You didn’t think walking through Sumeru would be nerve wracking, though one of the abyss lectors casted a spell to hide your divine presence and you have the twins escorting you. However the possibility of being found still scared you
“How much longer until we reach it? Walking through here is very different than from what I’m used to.” You comment trying to get your mind on something else
“We’re getting close, you can tell us if you want to stop you don’t have to push yourself.” Lumine said
“Ugh! Why did you teleport us so far from the statue of the seven?” Paimon groaned
“Because, the energy they emit mess with abyssal magic and I don’t want to put their Grace in any more danger than need be.” Aether informed. “And besides, you float so you shouldn’t be that tired.”
The little fairy was so angry that she couldn’t form any retort and settled for huffing and puffing
The same floating companion was the one to bring a suggestion to you. Try to do what Lumine did and resonate with the element (aka touching a statue of the seven), considering that Nahida is the weakest of the seven and from the intel you got from some abyss mages saying that she was seen in Liyue, you all decided it’s best to try dendro first
“I think I see the glow from the statue.” You pointed at the familiar blue light
You and the twins begin to run towards the statue until you were at around arms length. Being so close to the statue of the dendro god looked so much more beautiful in person
“Go ahead, see if you can resonate with dendro like Lumine!” Paimon said in anticipation
You closed your eyes and reached to touch the statue. All you felt was the cold stone and not some power coursing through you
“Uhh Lu, what did you feel when you first resonated with Dendro?” You asked
“If you instantly don’t feel a difference than you didn’t resonate the element.” Aether explained
“Damn, really?”
“Well what do we do know? Do we try another element?” Paimon questioned
“I don’t think we’re at a total lost. We’re in Vanarana, right?”
“You mean go to the Aranaras?!” Aether asked
“Yes, what’s wrong with that?”
“Nothing, I would assume that you would go somewhere else…”
“They are connected with nature and since touching one of the statues didn’t work, we don’t have many options.”
“I think it’s a good idea, they already know me and Paimon” Lumine said as she pulled out her vintage lyre
The traveler began to play the familiar tune you played when the screen divided you from Teyvat. As she played your surroundings slowly got more colorful and dreamlike
Completely in the land of dreams you looked around to see a sole Aranara hiding behind a rock. You awkwardly waved
“Visha has come back!” The Aranara cheered
Multiple Aranaras surround you and your companions
“Visha!”
“Great Visha, you’ve returned!”
“Visha’s been away for so long!”
“We’ve been so lonely!”
“Visha, try my soup, I made it for you!”
“Come down, (y/n) or ‘Visha’ can’t understand if you all talk to them at the same time.” Lumine said
Once the Aranaras heard Lumine they moved a couple step back from you and looked very sorry which crushed your heart
“I’ll listen to each and every one of you guys when we’ve dealt with the situation!” You tried to explain
“‘Situation?’ What is happening?”
“There’s this really bad person impersonating the Creator and they’re trying to hunt their Grace down.” Paimon told
The Aranaras looked fearful and confused, trying to understand why would someone try to hurt the Creator
“The Lord of Verdure, told me about this. The great Avatar of Marana, had deceived Nara and other lords are under the control of them.” The distinct voice of the village chief, Araja spoke.
“If Visha needs protection, then Arabalika will protect them!” The fluffy gree Aranara shouted holding up his stick
“Thank you, but I have Lumine and Aether. And you have to stay here and protect Vanarana.” You reassured
“Even though Visha has Nara Varuna and Nara Lumine, it’s too dangerous in the Nara world. Please stay in Vanarana.”
“I want to but I can’t put you all in danger.” You informed as you kneeled down. “The only reason we’re here because Kusanali is in Liyue. I don’t know what would happen if she sensed that we were here.”
The Aranaras looked sad yet completely understood where you’re coming from
“But we want to help Visha, is there anything we can provide help for?” An Aranara pleaded
“You can, ‘Visha’ couldn’t resonate with dendro. Is there a way for them to connect with it?” Lumine explained
“Maybe try the Tree of Dreams!” Another suggested
“Yes! The Tree of Dreams was made with power from the forest!”
“Oh Paimon didn’t think of that, let’s go.”
You followed the group of Aranaras through a cave that lead you to the tree
In its dream state it looked like it was something you would only see in a dream or behind a screen, never stand in front of it and take in its sight with own your eyes in your waking state.
“If Visha joins with the tree, then they’ll get the powers of the forest.”
You nervously reached out and set you palms on the bark
The sensations you felt, the texture of your clothes, the ache in your feet from walking so much, the anxiety you felt moments ago all disappeared. It felt as if your soul separated from your physical body
And everything felt wrong
It felt like the energy was trying to enter but, your body was rejecting the power and it hurts. You felt as if your body was being torn apart from the inside. You wanted to move away from the tree, but your muscles tensed so much it made it impossible for you to move
Suddenly your body is jolted away from the tree and hit against someone. The person you’re slumped against laid you down and rested your head on their legs
“……”
“.o…g….?”
“Y..r..ra..?”
“Yo.r gr..e?”
“Your Grace?!”
“Your Grace, are you alright?”
Fully coming back to reality you saw golden orbs looking into yours
“Lumine…? I- what happened…?”
“I don’t know, it looked like something was wrong and you weren’t responding when we called you.” Lumine explained you
“This is exactly what I afraid of.” Aether whispered under his breath. “It appears that your body is too weak to handle elemental energy in its rawest form. I should have known.”
“Don’t blame yourself, you won’t have known. And I’m more resilient than I look…” You said in between breaths
“But Paimon doesn’t get it, if (y/n) has a connection with Tevyat itself then why can’t they get the powers within it?”
“If Visha can’t be one with world, then what do we do?” An Aranara quivered
“I may have an idea.” Araja spoke
The group parted to reveal Araja holding up a flower
“This flower has been with Aranaras long before Marana appeared. This once was yours and contains old memories.”
Araja held out a gladiolus in his tiny hand or nub? The flower was almost half the size of the chief. On closer inspection you noticed that one of the petals is missing
You weakly reached out and touched the stem. A sense of relief instantly washed over you. All the fatigue and pain in your body disappeared as you found yourself floating in a sky full of stars
The sight of the sky though beautiful and dreamlike gave you a sense of melancholy. The colors slowly morphed into something that’s difficult to describe.
You closed your eyes and upon opening them back up, you noticed the scene had changed into something a person can understand. You saw hands holding flowers of different species. You viewed the scene in a first person perspective, the closest comparison is like watching something in virtual reality but it feels more natural
You continued to watch the hands braid 3 flowers together and you realized those hands belong to you. The same length of the fingers, the same lines on the inside of your palms, all the same.
Unsure of what to do you continued to watch your hands elegantly weave the stems of flowers to form a crown. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw a little Aranara watching you intently, waiting patiently for you to finish
“I can never make my flower crowns like that, what do you do so the stems don’t break?” A disembodied voice questioned
“It might look hard, but you have to remember to weave them as if each flower is special on its own and just as special when it’s in a group. This way your crowns will come out like this!” You said as you held up your crown to a woman wearing a white flowy dress and white hair making her slightly tanned skin pop out in contrast, you instantly knew who this woman was
Lord Rukkhadevata?!
You gracefully put the little Aranara’s head and it started to dance around happily
“I can make one for you.”
“Really? That would mean so much to me, your Grace.”
You began to make another flower crown with the same elegance and dexterity you used when making the first one. Once finished you place it on Rukkhadevata’s head, she flashed a bright smile full of gratitude and adoration
“Thank you, your Grace. I love it!”
“I’m glad you like it, Marbas.” You said
“Marbas” is that Rukkhadevata’s archon name?
Words came out of Rukkhadevata’s mouth but you couldn’t hear them, the scene slowly faded out and you found yourself back in Vanarana
“(Y/n)! (Y/n), please wake up.” You heard Paimon urged
“Your Grace are you okay, you’re crying.” Lumine pointed out
You sat up and brought your hand to your face. Your fingers made contact with tears you didn’t know had, you wiped them with your sleeve
“Are you alright, did you see anything upsetting?” Aether kneeled down and offered his hand
“I’m fine, I just saw something that I wasn’t expecting.” You said as you took the blond’s hand and he helped you up
“I think it would be best to go back and form another plan.” Aether suggested
“That sounds good, but before that.” You turned to the Aranaras. “Let me make some crowns for these little guys!”
The crowd of Aranaras cheered and some even went to get as many flowers as they can
“Paimon wants a crown!”
“I’ll make you a crown, don’t worry.”
“Yay, Paimon’s getting a crown!” She excitedly kicked her feet
Some of the Aranaras came back and gave you some flowers they were saving for a special occasion
You sat down and began making some flower crowns. The little Aranaras sat in a circle, some even tippy toeing to get a better look at your handiwork. All watching in anticipation and fascination
The abyss prince raked in your form. Though you didn’t possess a fraction of your powers, you still radiated the benevolence and compassion that is described in all text mentioning you. Aether had to turn away so to not show the expression he would characterize as unbecoming of him
When he opened his eyes, he saw Lumine hugging a couple of Aranaras
“Really Lumine? Shouldn’t you show a bit more restraint?”
“Shut up Ae. You should probably take that stick out your ass and play with these little guys.”
“Don’t curse in front of the Creator, what the hell is wrong with you?! Your Grace, I’m sorry my sister is stupid-” Aether turned towards you and saw you hugging several more Aranaras, some were hugging your legs and one on top of your head
“What was that Aether?” You just noticed his gaze
“No-nothing, your Grace.” He said turning his face away you to hide the pink on his face
“Hey Aether!” You called out
“Yes your Grac-” He was interrupted by you putting a flower crown on his head
“Here, so you don’t feel left out.”
It took awhile for the abyss prince to process what just happened, but when he did a smile creeped up on his face. He hid his face with his scarf in embarrassment, yet you saw how red the tips of his ears were
“Th-thank you, your Grace!” He said trying to not fumble on his words
After a few hours of playing with the Aranaras, which felt like minutes to you. The sun started to set and you, the twins, and Paimon bid farewell to the Aranaras. All of whom were sad to watch you leave, but still gave their goodbyes
Before Lumine pulled out her vintage lyre you stopped her telling her there was something you had to do before leaving. You picked up flowers and the roundest rocks you can find and walked to a spot you thought was perfect
You knelt down and began, the twins only watched you unsure what to do
“(Y/n) hurry up back there, Paimon’s getting hungry!”
“If you keep eating like that an old witch is going to take you in her candy house and cook you in her oven to eat you.” You said as you stuck your tongue out
“You’re just trying to scare Paimon out of loving food and a witch like that doesn’t exist!” The little fairy clutched onto Aether’s arm. “Right?” She whispered to the blond who only shrugged
Lumine walked over to you and saw you arranging stones in a particular pattern, a flower crown sat beside you
“I saw Lord Rukkhadevata.”
“Greater Lord Rukkhadevata? But you shouldn’t know anything about her after she purged from Irminsul!” Lumine said
“I don’t know why I saw her, it be because I’m not from Tevyat like you, but why wasn’t the flower affected too? Ugh! Everything is so confusing.”
Lumine looked at the little memorial you’re making
“And is this for her?”
“Yeah, I just wanted to make some physical proof that she existed.” You said as you placed the flower crown on the site. “But if you exist in at least one person’s memory, then you aren’t truly gone. That’s what I always thought.” You smiled as you stood up and looked at Lumine
“I’ve never thought of it that way, your Grace.”
“You can drop the whole ‘your Grace’ title, we’re friends after all.”
“Uh. Yes! Sorry (y/n)”
You and Lumine return to Aether who is trying his best to comfort Paimon who is still shaking and holding onto his arm.
“Your Grace, there you are, please tell Paimon that your warning isn’t true.” Aether pleaded
“For the most part I don’t think so. It’s just a fairytale to warn kids not to go out into the woods.” You explained as Lumine took out her lyre and began playing the tune
“That makes sense. It’s crazy for a witch make her house out of candy, that doesn’t sound structurally safe.” Lumine said you were all transported out of the dreamworld
“I don’t know, maybe the same reason why a man who comes to you while you’re sleeping put sand in your eye that makes them fall out.”
“Ahhh! That’s even worse!” Paimon cried
“Your Grace?!” A voice brought you three out of your conversation
Lumine stepped in front of you as Aether summoned his sword
“Whoa! Calm down it’s just me, comrade!” A familiar ginger yelled
“Childe? What are you doing here?!” Paimon screeched
“I was given orders on behalf of the Tsarita to find their Grace and bring them to safety, I’m glad I found you before a band of Eremites I ran into on the way here
“Why should we even trust you?” Lumine said while she put her hands on her hips
“Yeaahhh… You don’t have the best of track records.” Paimon added
“Why, I’m hurt. I thought we were friends!”
“Me kicking your ass very week doesn’t count as friendship.”
“Whatever you might say, I know that’s our Creator you’re with!”
“Oh yeah prove it.” Paimon said
“Their Grace’s favorite song is (s/n) and they call me ‘homicidal Ed Sheeran!’”
.
.
.
.
“Oh shit… he’s serious guys.” You said as a grimace appeared on your face
“I knew you’d know I’m genuine!” Childe chimed as he opened his arms to hug you but was stopped when Aether stepped in from you and pointed his sword at the taller man.“Who is this?” Childe turned towards the Lumine
“This is Aether, Lumine’s twin brother!” You clarified
“So this is the brother you were looking for, where did you find him?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Be nice, Aether!” You murmured as you pushed the blade away from Childe’s neck
“If you are telling the truth what use could you be to us?” The prince spat
“The Tsarita’s wants their Grace to be in safe hands and with the situation out here, it’s best to have them in Snezhnaya.”
“We don’t need the help of the fatui.”
Aether was about to usher you away from Childe until he heard what Childe said
“Their Grace couldn’t connect to elemental energy, is what I’m assuming you just figured out.”
Aether turned around and gave Childe a scowl
“Their Grace needs to gain their old strength back so they can properly connect with them.”
“And how are you planning on doing that?” Aether interrogated
“There are these stones that are linked with their Grace! Their called Primogems!”
“You know about Primogems?” You asked
“Yes! We’ve been studying them for a long time!” Childe responded
“Primogem? I think I know what you’re talking about!” The little fairy mused
“Yeah, there are times I heard you mention them.” Lumine recalled
∘◦ ✧ ◦∘
After slaying the last hilichurl Lumine walked towards the now unlocked chest to open it
“Is this an answer from this-”
“Fucking 5 primogems?! You gotta be fucking me up the ass with this bullshit!!!”
Lumine and her party members were left stunned as you continued your barrage of profanities
∘◦ ✧ ◦∘
“Y’all could hear me…?” You asked mortified
“Only when you use us as vessels.” Lumine clarified
“Now that we know what I’m talking about, I want to take you to meet their majesty as soon as possible. Would you accept, your Grace?”
“I’m sorry it’s just too much to take in. I though people here don’t know of their existence.”
“Well they’re rare so it’s expected that not a lot of people don’t know about them.” Aether said
“He’s right, and it only because of the Tsarita finding one is that we know of them.”
“But aren’t primogems are supposedly the remains of dead universes.”
“They are said to be that, but they’re also said to be the remains of the primordial god.” Childe added
“The primordial god?”
“The Creator is the original god of Tevyat and it is said that when they passed rocks that resemble stars shot out of their body.” The harbinger said
“I remember Zhongli mentioning something like this. When the god of salt died, they turned their followers into pillars of salt.” You recalled
“So will you let me accompany you to meet her majesty?”
“Sure, it’s not like we got anything else planned.”
“But your Grace-”
You drag Aether out of earshot from Childe and leaned into the blond so he can only hear you
“Relax Aether, his plan might work and if things get out of hand you can open a portal and get us out of there.”
“If that’s your judgment, then I won’t hold it against you.”
You smile at the male twin and turn back to Childe
“We’re going!”
“I’m happy you’re taking my offer! I’ll arrange for a boat to sail tomorrow, the sooner you’re in Snezhnaya the sooner you’ll be out of harm. In the meantime, let me take you where I’m staying, it’s far from any known settlements so you’ll be safe.” The ginger reassured
“Thank you that makes me feel better.”
“It’s nothing, your Grace.”
Childe began to lead you to where he’s staying, oddly enough the twins and even Paimon stayed behind. You shrugged it off thinking they watching out for any surprise attack from behind
“Your Grace, mind if I ask you something?” The harbinger’s voice brought you out of your head
“Sure, what is it?”
“When you use me as a vessel, I would hear some songs. Some of them describing pain and I want to know if that was what you were feeling.”
“Don’t worry, there just songs and don’t mean anything.”
“Really, even the song about wanting to have sex all night?”
“Yes!! Doesn’t mean anything!”
“Well, if you’re ever down for it. I definitely have the stamina for-”
“Oh my god! Stop!!” You yelled as you cover his mouth with your hands
It’s going to be a long trip to Snezhnaya

Hiiiiii!! You said recently you wanted to be sent ideas/prompts AND DO I HAVE A BRAIN WORM FOR YOU!! so I hope this is good enough! Mind the cw though if this isn’t okay feel free to ignore this/delete <3 - Lulu Anon
Cw: implied DV/reader not feeling safe at home, slight yandere acolytes, they v worried for creator’s safety
Imagine an SAGAU where the reader’s currently deployed team can directly hear whatever is going on around their creator!reader no matter the device used to play and the rotated acolytes over time notice that the reader is always hyper-aware of their surroundings and usually plays late at night with only one headphone in so there’s still sound and they can also hear what happens around them but occasionally they’ll play during the day for a distraction. They (acolytes) begin to notice things about the way their creator acts at home.
During the early hours of the morning, whenever there’s a sound from the silence in their house the reader freezes and goes onto the character profile screen to ‘pause’ the game and what they’re doing, breathing slowing and turning softer, heart pounding quicker, and won’t un-tense or resume for a while until they feel certain whatever made the noise has moved on or isn’t getting closer. Even after they continue again they’re still on edge and listening out carefully.
During the daytime there’s sometimes loud noises, voices and banging, to be heard through the walls and the acolytes are immediately concerned for their creator’s safety at home. The teams have never seen or heard anything against them directly as whenever someone comes too close for the reader’s comfort, they close the game down to avoid being caught, but that doesn’t mean they can’t decipher the implications of everything they’ve witnessed in the reader’s behaviour. Their protectiveness and concern for their creator’s safety is the main driver behind the designing and building of a mechanism to bring the reader to Teyvat where the people and the acolytes can properly care for them and keep them safer and happier than they are at home. There are some who wish to go to the readers world and brutally murder inflict thorough punishment upon those who moulded their creator’s personality into the frightful, reserved state it is, especially those the reader shares a house with, but the archons have to stress (for both the other acolytes and themselves) that doing so would likely frighten the creator more and their priority should be helping the creator grow and flourish in a more comfortable place.
Let’s assume they manage to bring them across to Teyvat; for the first few weeks they won’t speak at all, terrified of acting out of line. They keep their quarters immaculately clean- almost to the point it looked unused- for the longest time and when the acolytes see the creator didn’t make their bed one morning they all nearly cry in joy. If baby steps at a snails pace are what the reader needs then you bet all the acolytes are wearing diapers to do baby step along with you. The first time the reader laughed in Teyvat was the day all the land and creatures seemed to brighten and rejoice, even the abyss seemed to calm for a bit. Whoever or whatever made them laugh? There’ll be some jealous gazes but also admiration and gratitude for lifting reader’s spirits to such an extent.
That’s the fluffy ending at least >>:3
It could become angsty af if the reader is making good recovery progress and relationships with people and the machine that brought them to Teyvat in the first place malfunctions and either sends them back or brought their housemates to Teyvat and the acolytes have to watch in despair as their months of work are undone and there’s nothing they can do to prevent this spiral of regression once the housemates meet the reader again or the acolytes can only watch in horror from the other side of the screen as the creator returns to how they were before they arrived in Teyvat >>>:DDD
you have full creative freedom here as to if you want to add anything and if so for who (*^▽^*)

Tumblr media
Curling up against her pillow, Y/N quietly peeked her head from out the warmth of the protection of her blanket to her nightstand, staring longingly at her phone before casting a cautious glance at her door.
Slowly she sat up, shivering as the cold morning air hit her skin. After a moment of consideration Y/N stood up and walked to the bathroom, washing her face and changing into comfortable but presentable clothes
Just in case someone came in, she needed to appear as if she had already been up and was doing household chores for her own sake.
Slowly, Y/N crawled back into bed and hugged and stuffed bunny as she reached for her phone. Pressing her finger against the home button to unlock it before giddily tapping on none other then Genshin Impact.
A game recommended by many friends, all whom she could only talk through the game itself, was now filled with damn near every character it had to offer and an almost fully built team
Y/N switched between people since she liked everybody too much and even though it was just a game, she couldn’t help but feel guilty when she would bench someone for another
Though weirdly enough, she never received any mildly annoyed or humorous voicelines when keeping someone in idle animation for long periods of time, or opening a chest…co-oping…adding someone to the party-
In fact all of the lines the characters gave in her use were all sweet and kind.
Even when a chest had merely 2 star artifacts and a dull blade, they always seemed to be content with the new find.
If was simple really.
They couldn’t help it when you had the most adorable smile whenever you unlocked a chest
It was so cute, you could receive things as grand as four star claymores and 3 star weapon ascension crystals, or things like hilichurl masks and old trinkets of minimal value
It mattered not to their creator. They welcomed everything Teyvat had to offer and they loved her for it
Even if she was quiet they enjoyed it, a peaceful, soothing hum in their brain that allowed for their own thoughts to swim about whilst also being very aware of her grace’s presence.
They were always well fed under her care, healed when they let out even a grunt of genuine pain, and most of everyone with a vision got a turn to bask in the Divine One’s presence, aiding them in their troubles and in return they assisted her in whatever she wished
Zhongli smiled to himself as he heard your quiet giggles in his head when you added to his constellation
Xiao could feel the mere weight of his Karmic Debt lift as he saw you rolling around in excitement in the backseat of a Taxi as he spoke inside the Serenitea Pot. Asking with a pair of red cheeks and fiddling fingertips to walk in the streets of Liyue with you
Even Kaeya couldn't help but blush when you cheered in delight whenever he did big numbers during a fight. The endless praises that rolled off your tongue like a song only for his ears to hear
Your quiet singing to pass the time as you explored Teyvat for treasure and secrets, beautiful melodies to Kazuha and Venti's ears. Better then any ballad on leaf or lyre
However, much to their dismay, these moments were short lived, and soon enough you stopped coming to them for a long time.
Zhongli paced back in forth in the halls of the Funeral Parlor, his brows furrowed in focus.
The small consultation office in Wangsheng was filled with all your acolytes. It had been almost a year since they last felt your presence in them. It was nerve-wrecking.
The God of Geo stopped in his tracks and let out a small noise of surprise, his head shooting up as his racing thoughts came to a halt, and a quiet hum seeped into his mind
Had they done something wrong? Were you okay? Had someone hurt-
"Your grace?"
He blinked a few times, his gaze meeting that of everyone in the room who had stopped to stare at him expectingly.
Zhongli immediately reached for Vortex Vanquisher, gripping the polearm in his gloved hand. Awaiting your orders
As soon as he did so, everyone began to scatter, grabbing weapons, securing their armor, all too, waiting for Morax's instruction.
Suddenly, three others in the room dropped their weapon and stumbled back.
Diluc, Kazuha and Childe.
Diluc's face minicked the Archon across the room from him, Kazuha merely stayed still, eyes closed
The Harbinger was the only one who spoke outloud. "Your grace what's wrong?"
Your voice was shaky and vision blurred with tears as you opened up the game, quietly moving them around to do commissions and bounties across all nations
They did so without question, however. Their focus was not as unwavering as before, it pained Childe to hear your sobs in his head.
They ached for help, they needed comfort. And he couldn't give you any
They were all reduced to hearing your cries and tiny whispers to them as you went on to your usual routine. One they never forgot from months ago.
Though they could tell that you were more stressed, even desperate to get things done wherever you could.
As you switched between people, soon all of Teyvat was aware of your distresss
Xiao's gazed darkened as he stared down a lawachurl, hands coming to pull his mask over his face before suddenly
It stopped moving.
You must have paused his movements since the adeptus himself could not move quite well either.
Y/N stared at the door, never having glared at a doorknob so much as when she heard footsteps outside her bedroom. She craned her neck to try to decipher whom it was roaming the house.
Y/N didn't even realize how hard she was breathing into her phone, nor the desperate pleas for it to be nothing. Before all came quiet again and she hesitantly continued the battle.
However she stopped time again, and again. It angered Albedo to know someone was making you feel so unsafe and he couldn't do shit about it.
He hoped, he prayed it was nothing that could put your life at risk.
Oh how wrong he was
Albedo stood frozen, his vial's of liquid long shattered on the ground as he heard your scream.
Loud, ear-piercing and quick. Soon did it fade away too and all he could make out from your world was the loud yelling and arguing from someone else to you, how you would respond in half sobbed apologies, their mocking laughter at your cries
Ei's eyes glowed in anguish, clouds forming above Tenshukaku before a lightning bold struck down beside her.
A loud smack had rung right beside her ear. And soon even her own cries and screams matched yours as the noises continued again and again.
It was torture, to have someone you love so much be beaten and bruised over insignificant matters and you can't get them out.
It was unacceptable to your worshippers. Their queen, their creator was hurting and they would not stand for it.
Archons would start wars to end your own battles at home, no one cared who they had to hurt. Who's blood was to be sacrificed for your sake.
Love and worship was a scary thing indeed. And so was the Determination of Chief Alchemist Albedo to cut open a wound in the seal that separated you from him.
You were to take your throne in Teyvat, gods, adepti and common folk thrown at your feet for the sake of your own happiness and safety.
It would all be yours soon my dearest, just hang on a little longer, and the pain will be over soon, worry not.
They won't ever let you out of their sight.

“I suggest you two step aside,” Kaeya threatened, stepping closer, “I understand you’ve been deceived by this impostor, so I would really not like to bring harm to you.” Razor bared his teeth at that comment.
“We haven’t been deceived!” Bennet cried,  “You’re just-”
“Bennet, Razor, calm down,” you interrupted, placing your hands on their shoulders and stepping forward yourself. Kaeya was one of your highest-leveled characters, and you knew that even Bennet and Razor together wouldn’t be able to take him down. If you remembered correctly, Bennet was only level 75 with a level 70 Harbinger of Dawn, and Razor did have a Level 90 Claymore, but he was level 70.
You really had to level them up once you figured out how…
“But- Your Grace!” Razor whined as you pulled him back. You squeezed his shoulder, giving them both a reassuring look.
“You both still have a lot to lose. Don’t throw it all away just for me. I can handle this, just trust me.” you murmured bracingly, your words serving as comfort to yourself as well as the two boys.
Bennet and Razor reluctantly lowered their weapons as you stepped forward. Considering how high you knew Kaeya’s damage output was, fighting him head-on wasn’t an option; you had to find a more creative way to win this. Or, hopefully, get out of it entirely.

I am sure Cale is going to get his slacker life (... one day...)
But I just think funny that he thinks he isn't going to get in any mess because...
His friends are kings/queens/leaders
His friends are dragons/elfs/beasts/vampires/A TREE
The god of dead has a crush on him?????
He's father of *checking notes* at least 10 kids... no one is human... still counting
He has *checking notes again* at least 5 father and 4 mothers... all of them are protective
He has a traumatized™  dragon that is going to destroy the world AND god if something happens to him
Also Choi Ham, I don't have to say nothing, he's a male character, he's a walking warning (and we love him for that)
Ron
Sincerely, no one that wants a slacker life would have a black castle with a wonderful ghost inside
*whispers* the sealed god is stalking him and I'm nervous
GRANFATHER RON, GRANDCHILDREN ON AND HONG!
Someone *point to Clopeh* is making a museum and a cult
He's too gorgeous
Part of his family lives inside his head... he's okay with that
"CHAOS, DESTRUCTION, FIRE!!!!"
I'm sure the Roan Kingdom (and neighbours) believe that he is the chosen one of X god
Alberu has a gun, therefore, now he's one of them
Choi Ham is going yandere
Communication with others earths, so, the soos has to listen all the things he has done to his body
That stick
His mother's diary telling us about other secret society
Are you telling me that there isn't going to be a chapter where someone is going to flirt with him and all his harem goes crazy??? Sounds fake but well
His anxiety™  is going to drive him crazy
All of the girls around him are amazing and he knows it so now he's obligated to protect them and support them to make true their dreams and goal and be the better version of them even when they are already amazing
Raon y Clopeh are writing a book and probably a movie too
His kids are kleptomans, now they sadly have to scam bad people.... so sad
Cale: *sneezes*
The harem: haven't him suffer enough?
The soft boi is going to travel with his kids... he's calling the troubles
Is just to much, everyone is going to try to let him be a slacker but he's going to have a lot to do anyway, just with more vacations between the chaos

wrote a little crack fic on wattpad
it was a fairly sunny afternoon. with the autumn breeze blowing in from the window,
yawn
the man with blonde hair and blue eyes yawned as he was going through the documents placed in the table in front of him.
as he was thinking how peaceful his days had been for the past few days, he heard someone step in from the window
"your highness, you are shinning as brightly as the sun in the middle of the day as always. this lowly noble greets his highness, the one and only sun of our roan kingdom." a man with bright red hair stepped inside while bowing down
'and there goes my peaceful days'
"i am here too crown prince" a black blob popped in front of the crown prince. while flapping his wings, it gave the crown prince a big bright smile
"yes of course raon nim" the crown prince smiled gently as he reached the top shelf of the cupboard to grab some cookies
while handing the cookies to the 6 year old dragon, the crown prince asked, "so what brings you here cale henituse"
"oh i just wanted to greet the radiant sun of-
"enough what are you really here for" the crown prince cut him off
"i just came over to hand these documents that we gathered from the mage tower" cale said and handed the documents over to the crown prince while raon was trying to shove cookies in cale's mouth
crunch crunch
both raon and cale sat down on the couch while munching on the cookies and pouring tea as if it was their own bedroom
'ahh this disrespectful bastard' the crown prince thought as he let out a big sigh
"if thats all you came here for then eat those and leave. i have work to do"
"yes yes your highness, alberu crossman, how generous you are to allow such a lowly noble like me to have the cookies made by the sun of our kingdom himself" cale said with his glib tongue as if to tease the prince
"what?" the crown prince had a very shocked look on his face
"is something wrong your highness" cale asked trying to figure out why the crown prince had such a look on his face.
"what did you say my name was" the crown prince asked
"wha... whats  wrong your highness" cale asked in a troubled tone
"human, why did you call the crown prince, alberu?" raon was the one to speak this time
"because thats his name???" cale was even more confused as to why these two were acting this way
"haaaah is this your new way to tease me?" alberu asked letting out yet another sigh
'his highness is sighing alot these days'
"no how could i ever dare to do such a thing" cale again spoke with his glib tongue
"but human thats not the crown prince's name" raon said while tilting his head as he crunched down his 5th cookie
'how many cookies has he had? will he get cavities? do dragon even get cavities?? no wait thats not the issues here' cale quickly snapped out of his thought
"excuse me?" cale asked
"thats not the crown prince's name" raon innocently repeated it again
"WHAT??"  cale asked again, he truly had no idea what was going on
"but his highness's name is alberu??" cale said and looked at the blonde man next to him
flinch
cale flinched when he made eye contact with the man who looked angry for some reason
then the crown prince started to walk towards cale, cale instinctively took a step back.
he then called one of his servants in the room
by the time the servant came in, raon had already turned invisible and cale didn't know what to do at this point.
"your highness you called for me" the servant asked while bowing down to the crown prince
"whats my name?" the crown prince nonchalantly asked
"excuse me?" the servant asked as if he had heard wrong
"i asked what my name was" alberu said with a bit of annoyance in his tone
"yes, you are the crown prince of the roan kingdom, his highness, alver crossman" the servant said in a loud shout
"yes thank you, you may go now" alver said and watched the servant leave with a confused expression. then he turned around and looked at the red haired guy who looked even more shocked
"al... alver??? but... but.... isn't it alberu?? why is it not alberu..." cale couldn't keep his mind straight.  cale, no kim rok soo was someone who always kept his cool in any situation and he rarely lost his cool. this was one of those times.
"what do you mean why... thats what my mother named me. why would it be alberu anyway. makes no sense to me"
"yes human you are acting weird. why are you calling the crown prince with a different name" even raon sounded worried
"but but its alberu" cale looked horrified
"its not alberu, its alver" alver said with seriousness in his voice

Everybody keeps looking at that other Cale Henituse–the impostor Cale Henituse–with such adoring eyes that Cale thinks he would rather stab his eyes out than be forced to watch for another moment. Unfortunately, the Prince already took his bottles, and Choi Han won’t let him use his sword.
“Choi Han,” Cale says, holding his hands over his eyes so he doesn’t have to watch the other Choi Han follow the impostor like some sort of puppy. “Never look at me like that. Ever. If you do I cannot be held responsible for what I will do to you.”
“For once, I agree with you,” Choi Han says blandly.
“You’re being rather dramatic, aren’t you?” their Alberu says, as though no one can hear the discomfort in his voice.
Cale lowers his hands, pointedly not looking at the people from the other universe. “I am going to the nearest bar. I will be out all night long. I may cause a national incident. Do not bail me out of jail until they are all gone.” He spins, marching towards the door. Choi Han catches the back of his collar with a smile.
“If I have to stay here,” he says through his teeth, “so do you.”

*Kicks door* Sooo, I heard you wouldn’t mind talking about OG Cale. Would you mind unleashing some thoughts out to the public?
Only some thoughts because I’m saving a lot of stuff for the og!cale fic but I love this asshole so much
canon says og cale never met alberu but i call bullshit. they met a grand total of two times in their childhood and cale deliberately insulted him both times
one of these times was before he even became trash
he really hates alberu
child alberu thought he was super weird while adult alberu laughs in the face of the rest of the nobility who have no idea just how interesting this guy really is
cale has social intelligence, he just chooses to use it for the exact opposite of what it’s supposed to be used for
just because he has social intelligence does not mean he’s particularly cunning though. he can’t stand cunning
he’s pretty touch-starved, for obvious reasons
if you think he didn’t figure out that ron is an assassin on the run by the time he was five you’re wrong. he doesn’t really mind tho because he adores ron
he doesn’t like hans, ironically for the same reason that he loves ron. he’s just super shady and he doesn’t like that. also, he hates his face
courtesy of a discussion i had with my friends literally a few days before i got this ask, he’s actually a great person to go to when you don’t want to talk and you just want to go apeshit. looking at you, choi han. looking at you.
if you try to take advantage of him for his money he will laugh at you but if you tell him straight up that you want money he’ll laugh AND give you the money
he values honesty above all else, basically, no matter how awful the truth might be
this boy knows how to fight, he just thinks it’s more fun to walk away unscathed while leaving his victims angry. this changes when he has choi han to deal with
he looks like he’d have a brutal fighting style but he actually has a very formal fighting style
he loves brawling way more than swordfighting so when he’s given permission to just start wailing on someone without thought he will do it
he’s still a bit of a snob about formality and whatnot and thinks choi han needs to work on his style, despite the fact that choi han is way stronger than most people and especially him
part of the reason og cale does not want to be count is because of all the reading that it would require
he has absolutely no concept of how money actually works. sure, he knows the currencies and whatnot, but he’s also the image of the woman saying “how much can a banana cost? ten dollars?”
if he doesn’t outright hate or respect someone, then they’re basically a pet in his eyes
one time cale claimed to be allergic to affection and he was only half joking
someone please help him
