     it's nothing the doctor hasn't heard before. no matter her work, no matter the progress, no matter how 'moral' or 'ethical' she makes it, it's always the same song and dance. but hearing it from an augment... now that was new, even a bit curious. moira's head lifts from the paper resting in her withering right hand, the pen in her left being set down with a gentle click.

in the ds9 verse, khan accidentally joins a crochet club held by hope (@espercr), calliope (on @seengalaxies), and morn. he makes all these cute things for his dog and/or cat but ofc no one outside of that group has ever seen him make these things. so every day for like a month straight, his pets are wearing the cutest new sweaters and hats. everyone thinks they're made by hope and calliope, and khan lets them think that bc it's none of their damn business, actually!
