under my current insurance I don't have any options, but in a surprising twist, 47 may have accidentally backed me into a scenario where I can get it covered???

so basically, 47 cut so much funding that my county is short on the budget by about 400 million. because of that, they're changing insurance providers for all county employees to save money and there is a surgeon here that takes the new provider. just gotta wait to see what our options will be during open enrollment.

and if I'll even be allowed by the time 2026 rolls around 🙄

with the latest ban on gender affirming care for federal employees, i feel like I'm rapidly running out of time to get top surgery. idk of the policy applies to me yet, but for sure it'll happen eventually.

i might just have to bite the bullet and commit to 14k worth of private debt
