Angus heard Bernard, of course, and only raised his eyebrows, because really? Who hit themselves hard enough to hurt? Though, he did have to admit, he kinda wanted to just go over and ask if the other was ok, and what not. Out of common courtesy. Yeah. But instead, he left it alone, and hurried to his next class, hoping that they day would go much faster so that he could go- .. go home. Or take a walk. Whichever sounded better to him.

He found what he was looking for and smiled to himself in satisfaction. In a matter of minutes Bernard finished up what he was doing on his phone, then put it away and went back to drawing like it was nothing.

He attempted to push his hair back again, but then felt stupid because duh, no more pigtails. So as to not look too foolish, he twirled a short lock with his slim pale fingers.

MY EMAIL TO TUMBLR SUPPORT:

Dear Tumblr Support Staff,

Hi. I’m Caroline, and my tumblr URL is niallsprincessforreal. I’m reporting a serious issue involving a Tumblr user under the URL of zaddyzayn. Her name is Sydney, I believe.

Anyway, Sydney posted a long and very offensive post about how “disgusting” cancer kids and kids suffering from mental disorders and disabilities (such as Down syndrome) are. That they are undeserving to meet One Direction.

The problem began there. I was very upset over this, but it wasn’t cyber bullying until she (zaddyzayn) went after another Tumblr user under the URL of whoron. The person with the URL whoron told zaddyzayn that her little cousin was in her final stages of life due to cancer and how she was suffering. Zaddyzayn then proceeded to insult her cousin. I have the direct quote here;

"Blah blah blah. I care I care. Your baby cousin must be ugly or her mother must have smoked weed or popped a molly when she was pregnant with her to have cancer."

And, One Direction had posed for a picture with a young girl who had a disability. It was a sweet thing, but of course zaddyzayn had a nasty comment. I have another direct quote, which is her response:

"LOOK AT THIS! MY POINT EXACTLY. I’m so DISGUSTED right now. The boys touching fucking RATS. I feel sick to my stomach,. I hope the boys scrubbed themselves in that shower that night. I don’t want them to catch the down syndrome gene."

She also responded to an anonymous message that agreed with her as follows (this is also direct);

"OMG I KNOW RIGHT. If only I was ugly and looked like I was missing a few chromosomes."

This is unacceptable. She calls children with disorders and disabilities terrible names and it has got to stop. If you can’t get rid of zaddyzayn or do anything, then Tumblr isn’t a safe website and I’ll be sure that that will be well known. Cyber bullying is not something to be taken lightly.

Surely, as a website who takes issues like depression and suicide very seriously, you understand how wrong and ultimately dangerous her words are. This Tumblr user, zaddyzayn, truly needs to be taken off of Tumblr. It’s getting ridiculous.

It’s a disgusting thing, truly it is. Please do something about zaddyzayn.

Also, I have taken screenshots of some of zaddyzayn’s offensive posts and I will try to add them to this email.

Angus blinked once, then sat back, head tilted to the side. What the heck? Whatever. Not his business. He huffed slightly, though, because he really kind of wanted to know what that was all about. Maybe Bernard would tell him later- fat chance. He made a humming noise instead, and went back to doodling. A deer this time, maybe, or the outdoors, something to just- something to get his mind off of things. English was a stress, school was stress, but school had Bernard, so things could be ok, he supposed.

Bernard sighed and went back to drawing. No way in hell he was going to do this whole project himself. That would just give Angus some kind of satisfaction, he was sure. There had to be another way to get him educated on the book without him having to read it all…

And that gave him an idea. Bernard took out his phone and started to look something up on Google. There was going to be a way to get Angus to experience the story, whether he wanted to or not. He ignored whatever else the other was saying, concentrating on his internet search.

Angus was many things, but he wasn't a lazy kid. .. Not always, anyway. He wouldn't leave Bernard to do the project by himself, even if he didn't know what the crap was going on. Maybe he'd be able to add a few words of wisdom, or whatever, and help out, but at the most, he was just going to ask questions. Curiously, he watched what Bernard was doing -were they supposed to have those in class?- resting his head on his hand. His pencil laid beside him on the table, untouched. At the most, he generally only got on the computer at the library- if he ever went at all, and even then, it was for few reasons, like looking up an animal, or something.

Bernard finally looked at Angus in the eye, albeit very surprised. “You didn’t read it? Any of it?” Even though Shakespeare wasn’t his favorite author, his plays were always wonderful to watch, since that’s how they’re meant to be shown to the world.

"How do you expect to get a good grade on this thing if you didn’t even read any of the books assigned?" It wasn’t like he was concerned about Angus getting a good grade, but more so himself. He refused to do all of the project himself, it wasn’t fair. But it also wasn’t fair to be stuck with someone with not as much work ethic as he had.
