Quote by: Dylan O’Brien
“Mental Illness Recovery Series” book contains 100 true life stories of people all around the world battling daily with their mental disorders. It’s an inspirational book, that gives rise to the silenced truth of mental illness and the exhausting, but noble journey of recovery.
🌏📚 Where to buy it :) = http://awakesociety.com/mental-illness-recovery-book/ 🌏📚
Mental disorders found in the book:
🔹Depressive disorders
🔹Anxiety disorders
🔹Bipolar & related disorders
🔹OCD & related disorders
🔹Eating disorders
🔹Schizophrenia spectrum & psychotic disorders
🔹Conduct disorders
🔹Dissociative disorders
🔹Neurodevelopmental disorders
Thank you 💫
STOP THE STIGMA 🙂
book review 📖: “Something I truly enjoyed about this book is the simplicity and the variety of stories which are all focusing in one subject; mental illness. It’s amazing to see how this book connects each story to one another and to the reader. It provides a direct insight of living with mental illness and tips on how to overcome some disorders. If you feel lost, or if you want to help a friend or family member then this is the book for you.” Carelyn

stuff to remember if you’ve got BPD
Not everything is your fault. You’ll mess up sometimes, but so will everyone else.
Leaving a discussion to stop yourself losing your temper or getting triggered is not ‘losing’. You are just trying to be responsible and healthy.
You are not manipulating people by asking for support when you feel bad.
Denying the parts of yourself that you don’t like will not make you the person you want to be.
Ignoring emotions you don’t like will not make them go away. The fastest way to deal with them is to accept that they’re there.
You can learn to survive on your own.
Relapse is normal. It does not mean failure.

6 Common Traits of a Likeable Person
Tumblr media
There’s a reason why we are naturally drawn to some people over others. Is it their contagious smile, approachable nature, or endless optimism that puts us under their spell? They are great conversationalists.
Likeable people aren’t afraid to reach out and start a conversation with you. But instead of using small talk, they delve into more thought-provoking topics and ask you open-ended questions, rather than dead-end ones that ultimately lead to one-word answers. They can be wise and insightful when they…..

Hey guys. I’m glad to be finally posting my “mental breakdown survival guide”. As you know I struggle a lot with mental health, and so I have been through a lot of breakdowns. So many that I actually dropped out of university after 3 weeks in 2016 and had to take the whole year off. Because of this, I’ve made it my mission to help others with mental health issues as much as I can, so you don’t have to go through what I’ve been through.
Anyway, here is my guide. I tried to keep it general, and actually useful. If you have any questions or additions please feel free to add them.
And as ever, if you want to talk to me about studying with mental illness or want to see a post on a specific topic, please feel free to message me.
