Listen. Listen. Charles and the royal family's abusive treatment of Diana has been in the cultural zeitgeist for going on 30 years. Everyone knows they treated her like shit. Everyone knows Charles was jealous of her popularity. Everyone SAW Charles and Camilla disrespect Diana PUBLICLY for years. Everyone SAW this young, impressionable, caring, and vivacious young woman be used, abused, and cast aside by people decades older than her and with more power and experience than her. WE. WERE. THERE. FOR IT.

Season 4 of The Crown isn't news to most people, it's a refresher for the public of the story they already saw play out 30 years ago. The expectation of artistic license is baked into the viewing of historical fiction. We KNOW these conversations and storylines didn't play out exactly as depicted on TV. We watch these scenes and monologues with the understanding that they're there to drive home a main point. Re: the 4th season of The Crown, it's that a family of out of touch, emotionally repressed snobs took advantage of the naivete of a teenager desperate for love, with unresolved trauma of her own. And then, that teenager's adult husband gaslit and abused her for years out of resentment for not being allowed to marry the woman he truly loved, and later, out of jealousy for the way Diana effortlessly earned the love, respect, and adoration of the people he thought was his by right.

That's both fiction and fact. We were there. We saw it. Just as we see now how this family treats another new princess whose spotlight outshines the male heirs.

We know the truth of who these people are because they've shown us.

Unarmed Black Man With Hands Up Shot By Police.

Charles Kinsey, 47, a behavior therapist from South Florida was shot in the leg three times by the police in North Miami while laying on the ground with his arms up and trying to help his patient with autism who had run away from a group home.

It all started when someone called 911 and said there was a man walking around with a gun. However it was Kinsey’s patient who was sitting on the ground cross-legged, playing with a toy truck.

Charles got shot by police despite telling them he was only trying to help his patient.

The police shot him, handcuffed him and left him on ground bleeding.

North Miami police have not released much information at all. They haven’t released the officer’s name, they haven’t given us an update on the investigation. However, they did say that the state attorney is now a part of this investigation.
