Baked Lemon Poppyseed Doughnuts

Who would've thought you could finish a date loaf cake in the slow cooker? My Mum was baking this and we've both made it loads of times before. Sometime during baking our oven had stopped working. The loaf had finished rising, but it was still raw in the middle. So we decided to chuck it in our crock pot. I kept an eye on it, and low behold, 1 hour layer it was done. It tasted great, it wasn't dry at all. It was nearly as good as an oven baked one 😁
