Worship Leading

I was 17 years old since I started to be a Worship Leader in the church my parents pioneered. My sister who is our worship leader went Abroad to work so I was the only one left to take her place. I am very scared because in our past church I am a Tambourine Dancer and I still don't know how to lead the worship and the people to God.

Starting those days, my anxiety is growing every time Saturday and Sunday is near. I even came to the point that I don't want Sunday to arrive.

I feel so lost. I wanted to ask the Lord why did He choose me who is still young but the Lord's answer is always falling in the book of Jeremiah when He called him to be a prophet at a young age. He promised to Jeremiah that he should not be afraid because the Lord will be there to rescue him.

He became a great prophet at a young age and the Lord didn't leave him even as he grow older.

And it is also applicable to me because the God who have chosen Jeremiah to be a prophet in the past is the same God who have called me in this time. He is not changing.

He didn't failed to lead the way for me to follow and every time I choose the songs for the Praise and Worship I can feel His presence calming me. The Holy Spirit never left my side even at times I stumble and become stubborn.

So brothers and sisters, Do not be afraid, take courage because God is always there for you. He called you because you have a purpose.

Jeremiah 1:8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.
