“Nobara is starting at your school in two days.” - Here's some fanart for @missingn000's amazing fic The Phantom Guardian! A new chapter is dropping tomorrow! And while this isn't a scene from the fic, before everything almost certainly goes awry and these kids end up debating ideals (as is standard for any new dynamic in this fic), I wanted to draw my wildly unrealistic hopes and dreams of them immediately getting along! And what better way to bond with a new classmate than finding a box of kittens? Look at them being besties! :)

Here's all the kittens in the box and who would get who! I wanted Yuuji to have a dumb orange boy (who he could name Tiger) and then everyone else is just vibe based. I like to imagine Maki's has beef with Toji but loves everyone else. As to why i drew them finding kittens when this isnt in the fic whatsoever, i simply could not stop thinking about how it's a shame that only the gojo and getou families have pets (puppies and man-eating dragon respectfully). Especially when these kids would be able to get pets so easily! Toji would agree to just about anything that would make Maki happy, Nobara can just bully higuruma into letting the cat stay, and Nanami would likely already agree if the boys asked but if Toge expressed a want then they can just automatically win (also if the nanami family gets some cats then shoko has even more reason to visit-) As for the drawing! I absolutely had to include Yuuji's light up shoes (also know that I didn't draw them but in my heart Nobara is wearing bella ballerina sketchers) I'm like 100% certain that Maki is meant to have her blunt bangs and rectangle glasses, but JJK 0 Maki's design is my favorite and so it's the one I used. Yuuji and Maki have matching friendship bracelets! Yuuji is also wearing one that goes with Toge's poking out of his sleeve, and Maki's second is for Gojo! also Maki like, absolutely would not have a phone like that based on the year it is in the fic, but tbh I simply did not want to try and draw an older phone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ANYWAY! I hope you like the art, Chi! I haven't really made fanart before, so I hope I did okay~

Eddie is just trying to film a Tiktok to remind his fans about some upcoming shows but trails off when Steve says off-camera, “Hey, remember that RadioShack guy that was banging your mom?”

Eddie: *flips camera around to show where Steve and Jonathan are sitting on the couch*

Jonathan: …Bob.

Steve: Yeah, him. That toe guy from Lord of the Rings looks exactly like him, right?

Jonathan: …

Jonathan: Gollum???

Eddie: Toe, as in Po-tay-toe. He’s talking about Sam

Steve, snapping his fingers: That’s the guy

Jonathan: Oh.

Jonathan: I don’t see it.

Nancy sends Eddie a video the morning after her monster hunter trio sleepover and Eddie uses it as a background in a Tiktok.

So, he’s wordlessly in the corner of the screen while the video plays. It shows Nancy getting out bed, putting on her sleepers and her robe, and then walking across the hall to the guest room where Steve and Jonathan are asleep at opposite ends of the bed.

Nancy walks to the side of the bed that Steve is sleeping on and taps on the phone laying next to him. The screen lights up and shows that he’s on a call with Eddie that has been going on for the last five hours.

She flips the camera around and says directly to Eddie, “You’re pathetic.”

Nancy’s video ends and Eddie takes up the whole screen of his Tiktok just to say, “I can’t believe this is how I find out that my husband has me in his phone as Eddie Munson.”
