"I know he doesn't always show it, but he does love you, Nico. He's just scared."

"That's fair, I do something similar when I'm with my mother... sneak away for a while, go somewhere quiet." The silence that lapsed between them seemed like a cavern that was impossible to cross.

Persephone shook her head she would learn what happened later, but for now, she just wanted to hold her daughter.

"You don't need to speak of it now." Gently Persephone stepped back to see her daughter fully.

"Look at you. You've grown so tall and beautiful." The Goddess dried a few escaped tears.

"I have missed you so much, my sweet girl."

The moment she'd been informed that Bianca was in the palace, Persephone went running. For so long she had thought she'd never see her daughter again, she had to content herself with knowing that Bianca was safe with her brother in the Lotus Hotel and Casino.

But now her daughter was here.

Persephone had to physically stop herself from walking into her daughter's room and knock, when Bianca opened the door Persephone froze.

And then her daughter's arms were wrapped around Persephone's waist and the name she thought she'd never hear again from Bianca. Persephone burst into tears.
