“I did say terrorists were involved.”

“I am nothing regular. I would argue with that because I am extraordinary without needing abilities. You cheat with those powers while I am amazing because of work ethic and self discipline.”

“I’ll tell that to terrorists. Ask if they can be gentle with me. And I can’t tell you, it’s classified.”

Sitting alone in a somewhat secluded area of her new home, Roxy pulled off her gloves and held out the palm of her hand, trying to use her recently acquired ice abilities. She was still so new to all of this, she didn’t know how to use or control her power. Up until a few months ago she didn’t even know she had powers. Noticing the presence of another person she turned and gave them a friendly smile, “This is all so crazy. I am still waiting to wake up, because this whole experience has to be a dream. Does it ever stop feeling like that? Like a dream you’re about to wake up from?”

“This is no dream kiddo. It’s real life. You’re just too young and naive to realise it. Keep enjoying it while it  lasts. It’s a precious feeling.”
