Having no friends to resort to is crazy, either you keep all your problems to yourself, bottle them up and throw them away or you just share them on tungle dot com for total strangers to see
#plus the circumstances that led to it make it even more wild#because in school my friends and i were known as The Friend Group#we weren't popular or anything like that but while friendships changed among our classmates we stood still#for like six years!#we even promised to stay in touch after graduating to the point we created an ig account to document#every hangout we had after graduation#GUESS WHAT#my best friend cut us off less than a year after graduation#the rest didn't exactly leave but they were less enthusiastic when it came to keeping the gc alive#what's worse is that my brother warned me about it#when I moved to the seaside for college he had a heartfelt conversation with me about college life#and told me not to be surprised if i don't remain friends with my school mates#because they'll meet new people and their directions will shift and that's normal#and i was like sike i won't let that happen#AND YET IT DID DJXUUD#not because of me though#i did almost everything in my power to keep the friendship going#and now my bestest friend with whom i used to talk with 24/7#started a new job last year where she met new people and i'm genuinely happy for her!!!#but like... she doesn't text me anymore...#man i feel sick djdjd#rambless

'Scenes from the Big Chair’ (1985), dir. Nigel Dick
Number One, Issue 101, p. 16 (25.05.1985): "It's universal," says Roland. "Doing a banana solo communicates in any language." "Yeah," agrees Curt. "Even if you went to Swaziland people would think he was an idiot!" "But people watch us," says Roland, "they're able to look at us and think 'we're better than that'."

Girlfriend & Muse
Romy Haag [Eduard Frans Verbaarsschott; 01.01.48]
“The Queen of the Underground” Romy Haag was an extremely popular Berlin nightlife entertainer. She was a singer, dancer and actress before managing her own nightclub, Chez Romy Haag, at only twenty-three years old. There she met celebrities such as Freddie Mercury, Lou Reed and Mick Jagger (whom she had an affair with). She met David Bowie at a concert in 1976 and it was an instant attraction. His video “Boys Keep Swinging” was heavily inspired by Romy. David and Romy’s affair came to an end in the late 1970s after Angela Bowie found out. They have not gotten back in touch since but continue to inspire each others’ songs.
“In the entrance
there would be somebody dressed
up like the pope who would bless
the people coming into the club with a toilet brush and a champagne cooler. So the atmosphere was like that, very underground, trashy, kitschy. You read the articles that all say Chez Romy Haag was 1920s-style cabaret and all that, but no, it wasn’t! It was more performance art. Like an Andy Warhol aesthetic, let’s say it like that.” - on Chez Romy Haag.
“We’d get stoned together a lot! We’d get high and brainstorm ideas and talk about the world, life, politics, music… We wouldn’t go out together that much because of the paparazzi. But you know, we wouldn’t see each other every single day. Even though we lived together at one point, he had his touring and I had to work too.” - on her relationship with David Bowie.
