USING PATCHOULI IN MAGICK:
Patchouli is well known for its magical attributes and has long been used for medicinal and spiritual purposes. Patchouli and its exotic scent is often used in ritual workings and in incense and potpourri blends.
A member of the mint family, the most commonly used portions of the plant are the dried leaves and the essential oils. Some rootworkers use the stems as well. When grown, the patchouli bush will reach about three feet tall. It is covered in pretty purplish-white flowers. Patchouli oil is very strong, and has a deep, musky scent. It is associated with the element of earth and magic users consider it a female plant.
Associated with love, wealth and passion, although it’s also a powerful money attractor, patchouli can be used in a variety of magical workings. Patchouli smells like the soil and earth and is associated with the root chakra. The root chakra represents money which makes patchouli perfect for money and prosperity rituals and spells. Patchouli is also used in fertility spells and rituals. It is commonly added to love sachets and baths. It is also used to attract people and to promote lust. Patchouli is most commonly used in money spells. Legend states that Saturn, the god of hard-work, rewards, and limitations, governs patchouli. To honor him, money spells should be performed on Saturday, the day of Saturn. Patchouli is a well known aphrodisiac and is often incorporated into lust and love spells. Adorn your body with patchouli oil to attract a lover. If you don't wish to wear the oil on your skin, then use the root instead. Place some patchouli root in a red mojo bag, and carry it in your pocket, purse or place it under your bed.
Bathing with patchouli soap is another powerful way to draw the one you desire to you.
It is believed the pleasant odor of patchouli summons the spirit of love so to bring back a lost love, wash your floors with patchouli floor wash.
Light a patchouli incense stick and walk through your home, spreading the powerful fragrance from room to room. Patchouli incense is a soothing presence in any room in which it is burned. As you move through your house, imagine your lover walking through the door. Repeat the following words:
Magic herbs burn in fire, Bring to me my heart's desire.
Add patchouli to your bath for fertility rituals. It is often added to bathwater during a ritual bath. To perform a fertility bath, place a pink female image candle, a green male image candle and a patchouli 7 day scented candle near the tub. Fill your tub with water and patchouli to the water. Add three drops of lemon oil, three drops of orange oil and three drops of lime oil. Light the candles and stand naked in the tub.
Use a bucket to scoop up some of the water and pour it over your head. Once you are fully covered with the patchouli water, soak in the tub while concentrating on your desire. As you enter a state of deep meditation, envision holding your newborn baby in your arms. Let the flame of the candle mesmerize you and send you into a state of deep relaxation. Stay in the tub for fifteen minutes, or until the water gets cool. After your bath, do not dry yourself with a towel. Allow yourself to air dry. Once you are dry, massage patchouli lotion onto your skin to moisturize your body.

USING SPANISH MOSS IN MAGICK: Spanish moss has many magical uses and properties. In Hoodoo, Spanish moss is used in love and revenge workings. Most often it’s stuffed in dolls (poppets) with other herbs and ingredients to either draw love or exact revenge. It’s also put in bottles of War/Mars Water (a nasty potion used to take down one’s enemy). According to the Native Americans, Spanish moss was sometimes worn by mourners, typically women. And it was worn by women of higher nobility in certain tribes. Spanish moss is linked to the element Air as its seeds are spread in the wind. Because of Spanish moss’s legendary association with the death of the Native princess and woven into mourners’ clothing, it is also linked to death and funerary rites. Spanish moss magic properties via Native legend include fertility, regeneration, growth, love, and strength. The Spanish moss plant may take up properties of the oak and cypress trees they grow on, as well.
Stuffed into dolls/poppets for healing and to attract love
Use to make War Water and in domination spells
Use as hair for dolls/poppets

Goddess Guidance Card for the Day | June 13, 2021 - Sunday "You have been indoors too long. Go outside and get some fresh air."
“Being cooped up is not the natural way for inhabitants of this exciting planet to live. Believe me, there’s plenty to see and experience when you exit your four walls and roof. A daily venture outside will not only revive your spirit and soul, it will give you hope and faith in this planet’s very existence and future…Don’t let another day go by without stepping outdoors into this most entertaining and exciting of environments.” Spend time in nature. Change to a job that allows for more connection with nature. Practice environmentalism. Recognize the need for balance in your life—for more rest and play.
I’ve been going through a little bit of a low right now, revisiting some old personal issues that I thought I had come to terms with. I have been spending a lot of time inside my house, almost a little scared to go outside. Relying on my partner to get us everything we need from supplies to snacks, etc. My anxiety and depression getting the best of me. I haven't been practicing my craft as much as I used to. To the point that I would think of putting away and getting rid of all my witchcraft tools. But recently, I started having dreams of deities with weird cryptic messages. I think they're calling to me, telling me it is time to get out of my shell and get my shit together. So I took out my dusty oracle deck and pulled out this card. If this doesn't confirm my thoughts then I don't know what will.
Cordelia
This Celtic fair goddess helps watch over the flowers that bloom in the spring and summertime. Cordelia is associated with the ancient sacred day, Beltane, which is celebrated on May 1 to welcome the Celtic summer season. Cordelia helps with celebration, courage, gardening and flowers, joy, life changes, and stress management.
The stones associated with Cordelia are carnelian and citrine.
Call upon Cordelia to help you thaw out any situation or relationship that seems cold and dreary. Call her whenever you feel stressed or trapped indoors.
To draw the attention of Cordelia and Her companions, the fey, into your life, take a dollhouse chair and glue any or all of the following items to it:
Thyme, straw, primrose, oak leaves, ash leaves, and hawthorn berries or leaves. Leave this on a sunny windowsill (preferably one with a plant on it) to encourage fairy guests, who will bring all manner of spring frolic into your home.”

USING MUGWORT IN MAGICK:
Mugwort, also known as a psychic/lunar herb, is said to enhance divination and psychic dreaming. Mugwort is often considered a witch's best friend in dream magick. It is a member of the Artemisia family, a family of botanical named after Artemis, protector of women, fertility, creativity, witchcraft, and psychic ability. No other plant has a more powerful association with magick, especially dream magick, than mugwort.
In European folklore, Mugwort shields against injury, fatigue, and poisons. Romans would put this herb on their shoes to ward off fatigue on long journeys.
In modern magic, mugwort’s main use is for psychic visions and prophetic dreams. This herb does have psychoactive properties that induce lucid dreaming and astral traveling.
Mugwort is said to help confront difficult truths.
Mugwort can be ingested, smoked, or applied to the skin. It is also used in divinatory incenses or psychic teas. When planted in your garden it repels insects, especially moths. Hang above your door to keep evil spirits from entering your home.

USING CHAMOMILE IN MAGICK
Chamomile is known as an herb of purification and protection and can be used as incense for sleep and meditation. Plant it around your home to ward against psychic and magickal attacks. If you're a gambler, wash your hands in chamomile tea to ensure good luck at the gaming tables. In a number of folk magic traditions, particularly those of the American south, chamomile is known as a lucky flower—make a garland to wear around your hair to attract a lover, or carry some in your pocket for general good fortune. Use in a pre-ritual bath (with lavender, mugwort, and catnip) for protection, purification, to induce visions.
Use it in the bath / as a face wash to increase self-love. Good for protection, self-love, and beauty spells.
Used in spells to call down the sun/charge magical items with the sun’s energy. If you're getting ready to do a banishing ritual, some practitioners recommend you steep chamomile flowers in hot water, and then use it to sprinkle around as a metaphysical barrier. You can also wash up with it, after the water has cooled, and this is believed to keep negative energies away from you.
Also, plant chamomile near doors and windows, to prevent negativity from entering your home or blend it into a sachet to carry with you when you think you might be in physical or magical danger.
Dry chamomile flowers, pulverize them with a mortar and pestle and use them in an incense blend to bring about relaxation and meditation. Chamomile is especially useful if you're trying to get yourself calmed and centered—blend it with lavender if you'd like to ensure a night of restful sleep with calming dreams.
You can also use chamomile in candle magick. Pulverize the dried flowers, and use them to anoint a green candle for money magick or a black candle for banishing.
