The last blog

Week 15 is the last episode of our technopreneurship i just want to share my experience. So from the first months of our class we make a group same like other starterups and we name our group as `` Startuppers``. My groups is the husler is Paul Kristian Llenos and me, the Designer is Sophie Frances Montañez and the hacker is Albert Abrea. I first ilearned is rejection therapy goes to random people ta asked anything if we reject or accept the ass. Th reason of that is if we validate a question to random peopleif we reject its okay because of the jerection therapy we learned. And so many problem we encounter for our techno like 3 times we changes our idae to inovate. And thanks to our GOD our idea is approved to our instructor.

The idea our inovation is a PV solar grid tied system that convert phrotons to electrons and provides electricity where sunlight is the abundant source of energy. March 15 is our pitching day we will present everything about our product. The problem will be solve for our colleques is about electricity rate. Before that day, we decide that Paul will be the one to pitch in front of the panel because he has a ability to speak streely in front. We are the last group to present.

So my group to pitch now so Paul is share a intruduction in pitching just for understand why we choose this problem.“Electricity plays an important part in this modern world. Where almost everything needs electricity. According to the department of energy, about 63% of power plants in mindanao uses diesel fuel to produce electricity. And as the demand of power increases, diesel fuels increases too. And as a result, a higher electricity rate is imposed by electric companies. We also experiencing power interruptions due to power shortage or transmission line problems.

And the target of colleques is cummercial building use in the morning until 5pm because tje cummercial building is save a 6 peso or 5 pesos if we useour product and if cummercial building is existing voltage the local electric company is paying the owner of the cummercial building.This semester is close to end. And lastly thanks to our intructor to this subject of technopreneurship learned for inovation and mindset of business. And to make a technology for help for other people have a problem.

Blog 14

Week 14, March 06, 2019 is our practice pitching with our instuctor and we have to present our weekly update of a prototype. So that day we presented a two slide about our prototype. And our hustler reported about our miniature is already done. And our colleques said last march 01, 2019, we launch on March 03, 2019 and unexpectedly we didn't launch on March 03, 2019 because the battery was weak because we forgot to tap the wire. And we plan to launch on March 04-09, 2019. We need to overnight with my colleques to finalize our prototype. We all do our job for our prototype and our hacker is finalize the program.

Also we presented our pitch deck and our instructor clarified and give feedback and advice about ho to pitch our prototype.On March 07, 2019 we did our launching so our colleques goes to the early adopter to tell her that we will gonna present on this day and he said Yes. O our colleques prepared oursalves and the miniature and practicing agian, reviewing the details of the prototyp, and and exposing the prototype to the sunlight. And our colleques is already to launch the prototype so we just have to carry the prototype to the cummercial building of our early adopter.

At We arrive on the cummwrcial building and some other people watch our prototype, some poeple asked what are carrying. So we entertained them and explained to them what is the purepose of this and many are amaze. Finally the owner of the cummercial building is already with us so we presented to him our prototype and tbe we use a laptop for some optical presentatiob about how it work our system. And the wife of the earlt adopter want us to present it to her.

The owner of the commercial building was agreed to it and ask us if they could try it atlest one month and the wife said if after one month if they have not satisfied can they pull out the PV solar system. With my colleques explained to them is really effective and give a big difference on their electrycity bill. Because of the low cost of kilowatts per hour with amount 7.5 pesos and the local electric company is 12 pesos and the existing voltage so that voltage going to local electric company and local companu was pay the owner of that existing voltage.

Blog 13

Week 13, we continue making our prototype. And after finish our cummercial building miniature we painted it. We are finalize installing the circuit and preparing the things that we will put for the design. We also preparing the actual costing for our early adopter. And we have to know how many appliances in their house to using, thier circuit diagram. We also check if their rooptop is can be installed by a solar panels.

And our hacker his continue the programming for measuring for power, and show the voltage, current, and kilowatts reading. That has the big chalenges of our hacker and to improve his ability to promram. And thanks to GOD the measuring power has okay and show the voltage, current, and kilowatts reading and the program is running. And our hacker finalize his program so that can we fix we will gonna put the LCD which represents as a meter. And our hacker ass gonna put the switch for the lights.

The last thing we did is to prepare for tbe launching of the prototype. We gathers question especialy the question that we encountered last midterm by panels. And we practice that we can direct to the point that they can easily understand to how to work the system.

And we also preparing the pitch deck that will be presented on March 06, 2019 because we will have a practice with our instructor and screening us if the pich deck is okay. The purepose of the is comportable to pitch and no rong pitch deck. So we have to practice first and more preparition for our pitching.

Blog 12

Week 12, we continue to buy the materials including for the cummercial building miniature such us, nails, plywood, and other size of woods needed for tje cummercial building miniature. After that we buy the materials, we designing the cummercial building miniature same of the first user of our inovation. We started to measure the woods, plywood on estimating the size of the cummercial building will be making. And we cut the wood first for tje base, walls, divider and lastly for the roof top of our cummercial building miniature.

And we try the photovoltaic solar, we exposed it to sunlight to see if the battery is charge. Thanks of GOD the photovoltaic solar is charging. And we put the led strips and the photovoltaic solar to the cummercial building miniature. Tested agian the whole circuit with the photovoltaic solar and led strips and the led strip is on. Our hacker starting the programming for the measuring of the power using the microcontroller by arduino uno.

The big problem of our colleques that we encounter on week 12 is the measuring of the load side. The metering is can't be reading using by microcontroller by using arduino uno. Our hacker do the research for measuring load programm. And our colleques helps for that research.

We didnot a class because of our intructor has to be attend the pitching for XU And he informed us. We use that time to make the cummercial building miniature.

Blog 11

Last February 17, 2019, we still searching and looked for the remaining materials needed for our miniature. But unexpectedly the materials is only a viable online only, and the shipment will be overseas. So we did not waste of out time to order to online. We challenges our colleques to make our own system with out that important materials. We bought the component in making our own DC power metering. Last February 20, 2019, we started to make our miniature. That day is our class of techno after class we going to iponan to make our commercial building miniature. And we discussed the update for our project to our class. We reported to our instructure that wehave not started yet our commercial building miniature yet due to the materials using. The problem of our miniature is money to buy that materials using to start that commercial building miniature. Last February 20, 2019 after our class our colleques us offered to buy the materials using for our commercial building miniature. Imverry thankful of our colleques for offer to buy the materials needed for our commercial building miniature. And our colleques we make a deal to pay her back for his cost of materials. And lastly thanks to our instructor to offered/ to borrow his solar panel for our commercial building miniature. And thanks again for our instructor for saving for our cost for our prototype.

The big problem that we encounter for our prototype is how can be measure the power by using arduino uno. We cone up the solution for that problem of the measuring power by microcontroller only capable and can be supplied by a maximum volts of 5V DC only. And we research with my colleques and to talked to some people who are knowledgeable for that type of problem. Hopefully they can share their idea for that problem.

With my colleques are decisions is not to buy the materials we needed in our commercial building miniature in online shipment and decide to making it with using arduino uno. And the hacker is starting to make a program for measure metering. With my colleqoes help for the hacker for the programm. Searching for how to make make the programm for the metering.

Last February 20 and February 23 we didnot have a class because of our professor are the one of preparation of abig event happened her in university. And we usethis time for making the milestone. And we have not had BMC yet because of tje evwnt happend in the university. So we didnot waste our time and look for our materials that can be using for our construction of prototype. We goes to many stores to canvassing all of the materials price using for our prototype .

But unexpectedly the one of our materials important is out of stuck. So our colleques is we have no other choice we need to buy thru online stores. That we have know of our colleques that it will be take along days and a weeks before it will handed it to our colleques. But we have no other choice because of the materials important is out of stuck. So we needed to waiting the order until will be arrive of us.

And the order is not arrive yet. So we needed to do somthing that cannot waste of our time for waiting the order. So our colleques make a dissension for making the design for prototype and circuit. Prototype part, and then were planning to start building it on february 20 because that day is have no class of all subject. So we canvassing agian for the plywood, nail, wood and other materials that can using for building menuture. That cannot waste of our time for making the prototype. The milestones is the big help of our colleques of the processes of the milestone.

After our pitching, we decided our colleague to approach our prefessor and asked him if we our going to continue this idea or we change this idea. Because our paneled said what will be our inovation of that idae. And our idea is like a servises only. And have no inavation of that idea we buy only all material and a symbol. And our profesaor said continue your idea and added the about marerials and about the costing of materials.

We our discussed about the idea of our prototype like a miniature tha like same of commercial building(market). And all of the materials using. And the problem of our prototype is the circuit of the commercial building(market). Costing the using of a commercial building(market) needed to our prototype.

Febuary 1 2019, our propessor invited us to join the seminar about Intellectual Property(IP). Refers to creation of the mind like inventio, literary and artistic works, and symbols, name, images and designs used in commerce. On Febuary 2 2019, is the seminar day our classmate and other course we going to the Performing Art Theatre. That seminar ilearnd about the purpose of Intellectual Property (IP) are to encourage inventor to disclose, to enable to recoup the cost, for Technological Advancement , to facilitate technology transfer or licincing, and law of RA 8293 IP CODE of tje Philippines (IPOPHL). And Patent System (20 yer from filling day) is background. Your patented invention in PH is not protected in tne US or in any country because it is territorial. Last January 22, 2019, the second day of midterm exam. After our exam of machine we go to engineer if he welling to be a adviser of our prodject. And we exlpian the first welling to be a adviser of our prodject but unexpectedly tomorrow of consult for our prodject he talk to our colleague not be a adviser. Because of some confidential information of her friend. So our colleague is so down because of that idea is aproved by our professor. And second engineer is exlian her side waht happen to our project.

Unexpectedly the second engineer is not welling to help that prodject because of that confidential information. After that our colleague is brainstorming again a idea that same of our prodject. So we come up the idea of solar transportation and the second engineer us welling to be a adviser of that idae. And after that we go our professor to us if we pitch or not on this ciming January 24,2019. And we exlpian our problem of my colleague for our prodject. So we propose again a new idea of solar transportation . The concept of that prodject is rent the solar transportation the people of subdivision. In one week thier have seven days and the two days is no need to rent. The pay of solar transportation is 300 pesos per day. So our professor siad its not already late if we have to change the prodject.

The pitch deck is a brief presentation, often created using PowerPoint, Keynote or Prezi, used to provide your audience with a quick overview of your business plan. You will usually use your pitch deck during face-to-face or online meetings with potential investors, customers, partners, and co-founders. And other techniques of pitching is you need to story a scenario about your problem and can solve your invention. Second is you need to research about your invention, ho is first inovet that and your competitors.

On January 24, 2019, is the pitching day, we are the last number to present the inovation. All of us was given a maximum time of five minutes pitching finish or not finish you need to stop your pitching. After that all your colleague you should be at the front for questions and answers with the panels. At exactly 9:00 am we need to start our pitching and the first pitch is number 4. Because of there has three groups to skipped because thier colleagues is late and not prepared. We listened to other groups to thier pitching style and the panels asking a really hard, how you handle that pressured. My colleagues present our inovation and saddenly out of time so our colleague is need to stop. And all of my colleague go to the front and answer a question. The panels asking all ways is what are we inovet.

Second blog 2019

The second week of disccused about the idea of the students pitching and showed a video of students and the name of their company is Dorodash inc. The Doordash inc is a food delivery. The problem of Doordash inc is a food delivery of small store or restaurant. The dieat step of Doordash inc is inter view a owner of small store or restaurants. And after intwrview and validate the Doordash inc is solve the problem of the small store or restaurants is make a website od small store or restaurants and the food delivery is Doordash inc. The owner if Doordash inc is students and the name is Andy Fang, Stanly Tangs, Tony Xu and Evan Moore.

And lastly showed a video is a video of a time og three minutes pitching. The name of the pitcher is Will Green. The problem of Willy Green is birthday party or anay kind of party. So he come up the idea of the serve of food, talent, decor at time of one hour at price of $299.

My colleague propose again to our intructor, monday afternoon. At that time ihave a class that cannot attend to propos so my colleague told me its okay cannot attend a proposal. And after propasal my colleague told me the idea we come up is same of computer engineering student.

Is to make a website for manicurista, electrician, plommers, and other technicians thet to my help the household. And ash them if its okay for the same idea. Becuas the computer engineering students is the first come up the idea of making website. So we going to computer engineering students ta talked to theme and asked them. Our conversation was short, our colleague is happy that they agreed. And after that we ho to the limketkai mall to interview a ramdom strangers if they okay of that idea. One strangers to talk about this idea and strangers siad its okay for that idae.

We interiewed an engineer for that idea fir making website hw siad that idaw ita not okay. Engineer give a idea to make a website for solar providers. First blog of 2019

Last year, After our class we site a time for preparing a meeting with my colleague. And discussed about what is the place and day to interview for a random strangers. After the meeting we decided to going to the mcarthure park to interview a random manicurista. After interview a random manicurista we talk if that day when the customer are slow. And we share a idea to make a website of home serice manicurista.

And other side will use that website to make more customer and its okay for the home service manicurista everywhere in Cagayan de Oro City. And one manicurista is not approve that idea becuase of how many years in mcarthre park to work a manicurista all ways get a many to buy a family food and other then that.All of we interviewed 9 randon strangers. Gathering all data that will be easy to making a website. Hopefully this idea approved by professor to start making a website.

The first discussion in 2019 is the case study.The first case is E-Ink. The E-ink is inovated on 1997 technology. The E-ink is first technology to use us news paper.every day we change a display depind on what are the daily news of the day. E-ink is like a paper we can fold it. And after eight years zero investment back.E-ink invation is bank crap because of not plan a investment and econsystem.

The second proposal

Last december 3, We go to Mr.Talili to interview thier problem to her salon. The problem on her salon is short of customer. So we discussed with my colleague what is the best solution of the problem of Mr.talili. We come up this idea to make a website salon. The advantages of makig website salon is now a days most of us fun using gadjet. So we easy to watch the website salon helping of the technology to view the picture style of a salon and other than that is view of a background of the employee. So that idea the salon is many more to come customer.

Other problem is some people are late wake up. The cause of late wake up is short of time, not prepare for the breakfast,forgat the important tings, late of school and work. Like me im allways late wake up and im a using alarm every day but sadenly turn off the alarm and go back to sleep again. So we discussed with my colleague to how to solve that problem. We come up the sulotion is to make a hanging bike with alarm. The concept of tha t inovation of hanging bike with alarm if we set the time alarm and the alarm is on needed to bike at least five minutes or depind of your time to stop the alarm. For me im prepare to use that inovation hanging bike with alarm. Because youneed to bike to stop the alarm so your body is hot and not sleepi.

Last december 13, We go to the limekitkai mall to interview some random strangers to look for the problem. So we gathered all problem of the random strangers the particular problem of the random strangers is manicurista. Because of no time to go to salon and buzy of thier work. idont believe this idea all my colleague is laughing to solve this problem. First proposal

Last week, We discussed about how we proposal the problem that can be aprove. And waht is the interisting problem that can solve a technilogy. So we decided to present a three problem and solution of that spicicific problem. On the day of presenting a proposal, We listened to our classmate to propos thier idies.thier problem is trekking mountain hassle to carry the things like power bank.Thier solution is bag with power bank,lighter and flashlight.

And other are about agrecultural that the problem of farmer at balingasag that a bird devasting thier rice field. So majority of them presenting about community's the top problem is not proper garbage segregation. So our turn to propos we present a problem of the student information system (SIS) of the student about thier grades. So we come up of this idies that can be able to be txted immediatly send a message to the students thier grades that we awere already posted to student information system (SIS). After we presented for our solution to the problem.

Our adviser gave some feedback and said you need to validate first the solution.After class we goes to the management information system (MIS) who handle the student information system. So we interview someone in the management informaton system (MIS) and explained why are we doing this. After we propos our idies and we realize is very comlicated. The interview

Last week, We started asking some people about their problems in their villages. But some people are not interested to talk to us. We interviewed both men and women.

As a result of interviewed 10 people and gathered 13 problems. we noticed that most of the problems is really common to us.That problem does not have any solution ..

In this chapter it is not easy to start a company. You have to gather a lot of problem not even sure you can handle tha problem. Needs to be more patient, needs courage and a positive mind set so that can we succed.

Tech101 - the Sharing of ideas

Last week,We decided to gader with my colleagues. We have decided to assign each other to the positions we are capable of,base on the test results we took. Elbert as the hacker, Sophie as the designer, me and Paul as the hustlers.
