...uhh, hey there. i hope everything’s been going well.

it’s been quite a bit since i last touched this blog, huh?

i’m not sure how i exactly want to word this, but i can’t say i’ll be back on this blog soon. i’ve been busy with a few things (college, life, working on my own ocs, pretty much writing a story w/ said ocs) and those things are definitely taking up a lot of my time and creative juices. 

not to mention that my muse for arthur is very much gone right now and i don’t want to force the muse and make rping no longer fun for myself.

so, i guess this blog will be on a hiatus until i find more time and muse to write for this lanky, anxiety-ridden sniper of mine.

No there was no way he could put him down. Not at this point. It would mean they would have to slow and stop which meant death. No no. That was not happening. “If I stop, we both die. I am very strong. I can carry you with little problem.” He shouted over the loud footsteps of the robots behind them. 

He dashed into a barn before closing the door behind them and locking it. He put the man down panting lightly. “I am sorry for grabbing you, but if I had not, things would not have ended well.” 

Hearing the man’s reply over the thundering footsteps behind them, Arthur chose to close his eyes, even it was for a short moment, and didn’t open them until he had heard the doors of a barn open and close. Their safety secured, he let out a breathe of relief he didn’t remember holding in.

After being put down and the adrenaline of the moment passed, Arthur took a moment to properly breathe and try to still his racing heart as he checked over his broken antler. “Oh god, th-that was enough excitement for o-one day,” he murmured to himself before turning towards the man that essentially saved him. 

“I-It’s alright, that was a g-good move…” He paused awkwardly for a second. “Um, s-sorry, I don’t th-think I got your name.” He extended a hand towards the other man for a handshake. “Mine’s Arthur.”

“It is alright little deer man. I need to get you away from these robots.” He was carrying him bridal style as they ran away from the Heavy and Soldier bots that were chasing them.

"I a-appreciate the gesture, th-thank you, but I h-have my own two l-legs to carry m-me!" Despite his reply, Arthur clung to the man as he looked back at the approaching robots. The thundering footsteps of the metal mercernaries pounded in his ears as they ran, making him realize if he had tried to stay put to get his sniping rifle unjammed instead of making a break for it, he'd lose much more than a broken antler.

He'd have to properly thank the man later. "A-again, I appreciate your h-help, but you'll get tired quicker i-if you carry me!"
