Ok I was thinking part of Jinx's sucidal spiral in s2ep8 was of course Isha but also I think she was suicidal cause of Vi. Recall, that when Vi wakes up, she's told by Loris that it took three doctors to resurrect her, and there was a chance she wouldn't pull through. Imagine you are Jinx. Your baby sister sacrificed herself to save you from your rampaging dad in a blast that killed her and then almost killed your big sister, who's likely idk almost electrocuted to death on the floor after saving you from trying to stop baby sister. All in one swoop you practically lost your family. No wonder she turns herself in.

And thinking about it, this is part of the reason she forgives/accepts Caitlyn. It took three doctors to save Vi. Do you know how much that must've cost? That kind of money is unfathomable for anyone in the Undercity. And Pilties do not give their money freely, especially not richie ones, for a trencher so for Caitlyn to spend that kind of money to save Vi - it must mean she cares for her a lot. So I think that's part of the reason she apologizes to Caitlyn for killing Cassandra. But it also means, that to Jinx, Caitlyn "won." She's the one that can actual save her loved ones, whereas Jinx only dooms them. Hence she gives Vi her blessing to be happy with her.

So I am seeing all these takes about Caitlyn and Ambessa. And I wanted to get out what I think.

I love the jokes about how vi says Cupcake and caitlyn is no longer fascist. But I agree with the people saying she was already turned against Ambessa.

But I think it's more than that. I think what Vi provided for her that she didn't have before 1. A trusted ally and 2. Opportunity.

People have talked about her conversations with Ambessa and how she didn't trust her and the comment about peace and violence. But I think the more interesting conversation is with Maddie. Particularly when Maddie talks about how the enforcers follow her and how she follows her. And how Caitlyn sighs. Right before this the push back caitlyn gives is "not without Jinx." But here she sighs.

I think she sighs bc she understand the position she is in. She's not really incharge. Ambessa is. The noxians are doubling guards and being violent not on caitlyns orders. Ambessa is constantly with her when she is doing official things.

I'm not saying Ambessa doesn't have influence over her. She does. But I think she also knows she's trapped with no real allys. Her mother is dead. Jayce is missing. Her dad doesn't have influence. Mel is missing. She pushed vi away.

With no allys she needs opportunity. And she doesn't really have any. Ambesa keeps doing stuff behind caitlyns back. And caitlyn knows this. So she hasn't really had a moment to really turn the tables.

But then she runs into vi. Who she trusts. And vi is a wild card. And one that would be easy to paint as an enemy.

Neither needs to forgive each other to pull this off. Bc they both benefit from stopping Ambessa. All they have to do is work together and stop ambessa.

What will be interesting is what happens next. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a race to piltover. To make sure Caitlyn gets to control the narrative about what happened.

I am forever grateful for the balanced way Harrow’s psychosis is displayed. She is a rational person. She is able to evaluate data as sharply as anyone else. Maybe even more sharply than anyone else. She just isn’t sure if the data she is evaluating is all accurate. She reads as someone who has long since adjusted to this self-doubt about reality, and possibly as someone who’s intelligence was honed specifically by the process of needing to run every observation through rationality checks. It makes her weird, socially, but it also makes her very good at processing and deduction.
