BB21 might have done more good than bad:

I know this is late, but I just watched the finale (since I’m European) and it made me have hope for the BB22 cast. They will get to watch this season and hopefully be more careful with what they do/say, in turn, making BB22 a more enjoyable experience for the viewers/feeders due to hopefully having less negativity.

I actually looked up the race/ethnicity demographics for the US (I’m European so idk how actually accurate these are, but took em from Wikipedia) and a true “American” 16 cast Big Brother would be comprised of 7 white people, 4 hispanics, 3 black people, 1 asian & 1 other race/ethnicity (native american/middle eastern/romani etc)

One of my pet peeves in the Big Brother fandom is when someone bring up diversity, there is always that one fan who is like “But the cast should reflect what America looks like”. I just think that is such a bullshit reason for there only being 1 black person in the house. At this point in the show, I think its unneeded to have that type of casting. The show should want to break out of the casting formula that was from the Real World show and make your own casting. Put an even amount of POC and White people.

The spelling comp and the bottle memory one (& ofc otev) are all great, but I would hate having to mess up & then also clean the house after the hide & go veto. I’d probably be too self-conscious to do some of the things the houseguests do (like throwing away food just to win a comp or taking the sheets off of the mattresses)

Hide & Go Veto, the spelling comp, and the memory comp where you mix bottles of colors are the comps I would love to play in. Also the face morph comp.

Season 16 really messed everything up as far as big brother goes. Once Battle of the Block happened, then the have-not comps went away, the nomination wheel went away, luxury comps went away. Now the HOH picks who gets to be a have-not and can choose anyone they want so someone can be a have-not several weeks in a row and nominations are very anti-climactic. I’m glad Battle of the Block has been gone, but I just miss some of those old school things too.

We just got off of 2 great back to back seasons (5 & 6). I think a bad season was in the cards at this point. Plus, it’s not like we haven’t sat through a bad bbcan season already *cough* bbcan 4 *cough*

unpopular opinion but why would you want bbcan to be canceled lol. like yes this season is awful but that just means if there’s another one it’s guaranteed to be better. don’t act like there aren’t shit seasons of bbus too
