if you want a gay character who has been bullied and called slurs and traumatized his entire life and believes he will never find love to be rejected by the love of his life and then die in s5 you are disgustingly homophobic! hope this helps! 😃

Hmm… that’s a rather odd emoji to associate with Byler. Unless…

Will really does gain powers due to his time in the upside down like people have been speculating recently? I haven’t watched the first shadow but apparently Henry gains powers after his time in dimension X, which was apparently 12 hours. So why wouldn’t Will gain powers as well? He spent around an ENTIRE WEEK in the upside down. His D&D character has been associated with fire and using fireball to defeat monsters. So maybe he develops fire powers? An episode is literally called Sorcerer, and that same episode is supposed to have the Miwi flashback. Pretty sure the title Sorcerer has to do with Will. And I know some people don’t want for Will to have powers because they don’t want Mike to feel insecure, less than, not good enough for Will, and hold him on a pedestal like he does with El, but it wouldn’t be the same. Know why? I believe Will’s love for Mike, as well as Mike’s love for Will, would activate his powers full force. What helped El with her powers in season 4 was the love she had for Max. Mike’s love monologue wasn’t helping El at all. She was struggling and vines were continuing to tighten around her neck until she thought about Max. Whereas Mike is the one who gives Will the courage to fight on. And when he’s scared, Mike is the one who Will calls out for. Will needs Mike, powers or not, Will is always going to need Mike. That’s why it’d be different if Will were to actually have powers, because there’s nothing that would ever make Will not need Mike. Nothing. Will could literally have the strongest powers in the universe and he’d still need Mike. And just like Will needs Mike, Mike needs Will. He needs the kind of unconditional, unwavering love that Will has for him. They need each other. One isn’t better or more important than the other. They’re a team. They’re equals. They provide exactly what the other one needs and wants. They make each other strong. And that’s why they make sense. But because they’re both boys, so many people don’t see what’s right in front of them or don’t want to admit it due to homophobia. We’re the crazy ones for seeing two boys who have a love for each other that’s beyond friendship. Yeah, we’re crazy. Will and Mike’s friendship is totally the same as the friendships that they have with Lucas and Dustin. Totally. We’re just crazy, guys. 🙄

when are we going to talk about how rovickie's story is everything that milevens claim wont happen to byler.
let me explain,
one of the most common anti-byler arguments is "mike wont leave his gf to get with will."
lets look at rovickie: robin represents will, vickie represents mike, vickies bf represents el.
in the beginning, its revealed that robin has a crush on vickie, there are a couple cute scenes of robin pining for her, but there are no indicators of vickie being romantically interested in her. leaving the audience to believe that it is one sided.

infact, we get more confirmation of vickie not being interested in her when this is revealed.

wow! she has a boyfriend? poor robin, her crush is taken and will never get with her.
but wait?

hold on.. vickie is actually interested in robin? why else would she back away from her boyfriend like this when she saw robin?

here it is revealed that she actually ended up leaving her boyfriend because she likes robin, and now are on a journey to get together in season five.
sound familiar?
milevens CONSTANTLY claim that byler wont happen because mike wont leave his girlfriend and jump into another relationship. but the duffers just showed us with rovickie that they can do that and WILL do that.
this whole rovickie story happened in just a couple episodes of season 4 and i think was a way of showing the audience of the outcome of byler in season 5.
sure, you can argue that this minor love triangle isnt as developed as the will-mike-el love triangle, but this just further proves how it is foreshadowed to be bylers outcome. what was the point of including vickies boyfriend in the first place? hes not a major character and was forgotten so quickly but they still included him in this storyline. for what?
