Day 1 : Summon - Will summoning Demon!Mike - 09.11.2024

I went with a Supernatural crossover with Will using a spell to summon demon!Mike in a moment of despair and emotional distress 

Done using watercolors, ink pens, alcohol markers, colored pencils, acrylic paint pens and Photoshop for the flames at the center, light and shadows effects

I already said thank you to the mods for another year of Bylerween in the comments of your wrap-up post, but I forgot that I also wanted to say thank you to @magentamee and @pinkeoni for doing the 2024 graphics -- this blog looked great last year too and you've really kept that standard up!

Well deserved recognition for them both!!! Bylerween 2024 looked fantastic thanks to those two!!! 👏👏👏

Bylerween day 3 Graveyard and zombies, young byler / old byler, haunt

(when they're younger selves come in, these are the non dialogue names used to sperate them. Will - zombie Will, Mike - zombie mike, William - present Will, Michael - present Mike)

“Will, why did we have to go through here again?” Mike asked, clutching onto Will's arms as they walked through a graveyard.

“Because its the shortest path back home, and I thought you weren’t spooked easily.” Will chuckled as they continued.

The two walked in silence, Mike had bent down to tie his shoe so Will walked ahead. He kept walking until mike suddenly squealed.

“Wha-” He turned around to see mike frantically shaking his leg. There was something attached to his ankle, it almost looked like a hand.

“Mike what-”

Mike shook off the thing on his leg and leapt back. As Will walked over, the ground started breaking apart next to where the hand was. Out reached another hand from the dirt. After a second, zombie had climbed out of the ground was was trying to reattach it's hand.

“Mike is that…me?” William whispered as the two boys looked at the child. There were dark veins running all under his pale skin.

“I…I think so. how is that even possible?” Michael whispered back.

Suddenly the ground behind Michael broke apart and out climbed another zombie, this one was soaking wet. It's hair was dark and there was what looked to be blood on its head and neck. It reached out and touched Michael's shoulder.

Mike squeals again, even louder this time, and attempts to jump into William's arms.

“Jeez when did I become such a wimp.”

The zombie said, looking up at the two.

“Holy shit, is that me?” Micheal got down from Williams arms carefully, being cautious of the two undead children around him.

“What do you think, dipshit?” Mike said, walking over to Will.

"Damn Mike, I forgot how much of an asshole you used to be." William whispered to Michael. “How is that, how is this possible? there shouldn't be two of us. how did you two even die?” William questioned, taking a better look at his younger self and Mike.

“I was never found by anyone. I got trapped in that dark place... And Mike-” Will began.

“He doesn't need to know how that me died…” Michael interrupted, looking scared. He was visibly distraught, face drained of color.

“Oh I think this Will does need to know...I think he would be delighted to know." Mike began, looking at William with an unreadable expression. "I was never saved when I jumped into the quarry that day ”

“Wait Mike, you jumped!?” William said, turning towards Micheal quickly.

“I- uh, yeah, but it was only because they were threatening Dustin and I don't want him to get hurt and I knew that El would save me and all that…” Michael said, looking away. He picked at his arms.

“That's a lie~” Mike sang out, “that wasn't the only reason you jumped. And we didn't even know where Eleven was at the time.” He had an evil grin on his face.

“Mike…” William reached out and grabbed his hand, pulling him into a hug.

"I'm sorry..." Micheal began to sob. William wiped away his tears and kissed his face. He held Micheal as close as he could.

“Ew that fucking disgusting.” Mike said with a laugh to Will, gesturing to their older counterparts kissing.

“You think it's gross?” Will started tearing up.

“Wait, hey I didn't mean it like that. I meant that just kissing in general is gross, not that kissing you is gross.” He panicked, trying to wipe away Will's tears. “I'm sorry I don't mean it like that… I think kissing you would be great, anyone else would be gross.”

Michael and William looked on as their two younger, undead selves hugged and comforted each other. It was oddly sweet, but still really disturbing.

"the fuck are you looking at?" Mike snapped when he saw Micheal and William stating at them.

"Nothing nothing...just you know, it's cute how soft you are with younger me." William said with a chuckle. Michael was even softer with him now that they're dating.

"I'm not...Im not cute...And I'm definitely not soft!" Mike said turning away.

"ok uhh, well let you two be. We have to go now." William said, grabbing Micheal's hand.

"oh, ok that's ok. you're lucky you were found, and get to live on..." Will said with a sad smile, turning to Mike and beginning to leave.

Mike turning around as they left and yelled, "Stop being such a loser!" To Micheal, and then they disappeared into the fog.

"Well that was kind of weird..." Mike said after they left the graveyard.

"Tell me about it." Will chuckled, "they were kind of cute, in their weird, zombie way."

"yeah, cute is definitely a word..." Mike said, looking down, "Was I always such an asshole?"

"Not to me you weren't, but to other people, yeah, you were." Will laughed, softly hitting Mike's arms as they walked. Mike just sighed as they left.
