The most expensive pencil cup, ever! This has been in my lathe for awhile and I put in more time than I’d like to admit. Made from padauk and ebonized maple. Each segment is individually glued into place...80 segments total, 170 if you want to count the black maple veneer separating each segment. I like how it turned out. My latest bowl. Made it last week, but finally got a chance to photograph it. Probably my favorite one so far. I love the green and black. Segmented poplar bowl. Made this small bowl for my wife. She’s a big fan of the Charmed TV show. The triquetra symbol is used in the tv show to represent the 3 sisters in the show.
