i am rewatching age of youth, my comfort kdrama, and when i first watched it i was 19 like the youngest character and now i am 27 like the eldest. and i still wish for that kind of friendship. it sometimes scares me, that i feel like not much has changed inside me. do we ever actually get better ? because as life goes on, hardships become even harder and they just multiply. does friendship like theirs exist ? why did it never happen to me ?

honestly i feel so terribly alone. i have absolutely no one to talk to, all i can do is talk to the void here. i think that’s a good reminder that i was always alone and just deluded myself into thinking i had « good friends ». i know one or two friend that would understand me maybe i don’t know. people just genuinely disgust me.

when i was doing my thesis i used to hide in the bathroom and cry because of videos of Gaza i felt horrible chest pain and i had to comeback and act as if everything was normal. now it is the same i see my country getting bombed alongside Palestine and i have to go on as if nothing is happening.

people have long forgotten what empathy is.

iranians we go through this alone as well. no geopolitical allies and no real life allies either. because who can actually understand ?

now feels like a good time to reiterate that Iranians have been martyred by america + israel already, both empires that possess nuclear weapons, and that Iran does not have nuclear weapons. so now is not the time to joke about america getting nuked-- any retaliation on Iran's part is justified and the only way we escape this situation, but Iran is not going to nuke us, because the entire premise that Iran has nukes is how america justified bombing them and also the exact same rhetoric we used against Iraq and how we killed my countrysmen when there was again no evidence of nuclear warfare.
