long ass explanation on the hands position and base used under the cut

Couldn't help but psychoanalyse my drawing. If you read everything, you'll earn a lil kiss on the forehead

This is more based on preferences than the plot. It's also based on the first season of the game (so spoiler if you're not there yet), as I just finished it. And, I might have misinterpreted something about the characters. If you spot any mistakes feel free to correct me.

Yukio:

Their hands around their neck symbolise the stress and anxiety of being thrown into an unknown realm, besides the problems that they already had, such as social anxiety and low self-esteem. They feel suffocated by the current situation.

Bottom left: support

Beel: He's prying off one of Yukio's arms, but not in a forceful manner. It looks quite gentle, actually. It shows how his friendly presence helps Yukio with the stress.

Belphie: The only hand that's less visible and doesn't touch Yukio fully. That was to show how he tricked them into freeing him and hurting them once out of the attic.

Satan: After the body swap accident, they became significantly closer. Here, his hand is gently supporting them up. That shows a bit of their friendship.

Diavolo: His hand is placed on the shoulder to indicate the responsibility that he put on Yukio. Though, compared to Lucifer, his hand is more supportive than leaning.

Bottom right: need

Levi: He looks like he's clinging to them. Which they feel like that is true. Both hands are visible to show that they are closer than the rest. They both consider each other as friends, but on Yukio's side, the guilt for lacking social skills sometimes drags them down.

Asmo: His nail paint isn't visible, making him almost impossible to recognise. Is to show that despite being civil with one another, they've never got close. His hand looks like he's trying to pull them towards himself, as an attempt to get attention, which he's failing to do.

Lucifer: Just like Diavolo, his hand is placed on the shoulder to indicate the responsibility that they've put on Yukio. His hand is leaning more on the shoulder than just resting, like he's trying to keep Yukio in place.

Top

Solomon: His hand is trying to reach Yukio, failing. Since they aren't under "forced closeness" like the demon brothers, they aren't as close as he probably wanted.

Simeon: Same thing as Solomon. The lack of any movement in his hand is to indicate the little interest that Yukio has in befriending him.

Mammon: He has both of his hands visible, crowing Yukios head. That is to show how close they've become with time. It also says how much he is involuntarily stuck in their mind as they're slowly developing feelings for him.

White borders:

Symbolise the walls that Yukio built around themselves to keep everyone out.

They also have a border on their hands as to say that they don't trust themselves to not get attached to the demons.

Mammon is the only one with less border, meaning that they are unwillingly letting themselves be more open to him.

All this thing is based on the first drawing. The second is just another version i liked, lol
