it would be nuts if deltarune turned out to be an undertale prequel. Like at the end of chapter seven all the events of the game end up starting the war that sent the monsters to the underground

concerning this post: Unless Alvin is the type of guy that goes "I have to throw everything about this person out or I can't sufficiently move on," he might keep a couple other things besides Gerson's ashes in his desk. I like to think that Gerson is also represented by the hairband he uses to hold his glorious mane back.

He could also be represented by multiple things from when he was alive; maybe at some point he wore an eyepatch, maybe he kept a pocket watch, maybe a piece of his shell came off from a scuffle and he decided to keep it, etc.

Moreso, even if Alvin hadn't kept anything of Gerson's and buried the ashes like normal, he still has all the memories he made with his dad, and all the little habits he probably picked up from him as well.

What I mean to say is, even when someone is gone, traces of their being remain, especially with someone like Gerson. He was someone who really lived: he was a warrior, an author, a teacher, a mentor, a father- it's no surprise that to this day, he's still in the hearts and minds of so many people. I don't see a reason to boil down his spirit to a pile of dust when in so many ways, he's still alive and present.

oooooorrrrrr, y'know, it'd probably be fine if we just took just a little bit of ashes. like if a hairband went missing, Alvin might notice, but an absolutely tiny pile of ash is WAY less noticeable. its just a little smidgen of ashes, no harm no foul. the kids deserve a little bit of ash, as a treat.

how tall is Tenna?! here's a rough estimate 📺👀

so we haven't had any official confirmation of Tenna's ridiculous height yet, and i haven't been able to yank sprites from the game...

however. there's a handy little Deltarune height chart made by an anonymous user some time ago, which gives a rough indication of the height of each character:

crucially, we see Kris' height is 5'1.5": this is great for us, because we see Kris next to Tenna frequently!!

if we round down Kris' height to 5', we see that Tenna is approximately three Krises tall without his antennae, and nearly four Krises with them!!

that means Tenna is at least 15 feet tall, but if you count the antennae, his whole height is closer to 19 feet.
