omg wow another idea in the span of a month maybe school hasn’t fried my brain (I should not be doing this instead of studying it is FINALS WEEK)

I’ve been reading a lot of vex!scar fics recently where he just goes like. insane or something. lots of angst. idk how to describe this any further. ANYWAYS.

I’ve seen a few of them throw in a detail about scar using his vex magic in order to breathe life into his builds (which I am EATING UP btw) and I was wondering if there were any vex!scar angst fics out there where the author takes this and runs

like imagine the fic opens up (I apologize for the odd writing from here on out)

someone is looking for scar and they find his base TOO ALIVE—animals run amok and mutating/binary fissuring or whatever the progressive form of binary fission is, buildings becoming actually alive and moving around, things growing out of the ground, all that pizazz

and they’re like what the diddly darn happened here and they can’t find scar anywhere (end scene)

a few days later they find a similar sort of occurrence at say, one of his shops, or just at a random place on the server if you wanted to tie in more plot

yada yada things happen, angst and shenanigans, I didn’t really think this through any further than that, this was a shower thought

BUT JUST THINK ABOUT THE VIBES

like you can take the too alive-ness in any direction based on the plot you desire (ex. an eerie vibe for more eldritch horror type fics, whimsical if you decide to tie the alive-ness to his emotions in a 5+1 or whatever, threatening if it’s a lashing out type situation, the world’s your oyster) and you can vary the intensity of it depending on if you’re going for a longer form/shorter form fic and how important to the plot it is

this was a throwaway idea why am I actually thinking about this more MY BRAIN KEEPS FLESHING THINGS OUT

but anyways if anyone knows any fics with this extended detail (? I guess that’s how you’d phrase it?) please send them my way!! or I might write something related over the summer if I care enough idk I can never speak for what future me will decide to do

Dracula the character is about the endless projections, so I randomly thought about an adaptation where there is no design for Dracula.

When Jonathan first sees him he looks like a well-meaning and slightly hot dude and when we get to the flashbacks we realize old!Dracula looks surprisingly like mister Hawkins.

When Dracula grows younger, in Jonathan's eyes he starts looking like Arthur, the richer husband of Mina's richer friend, the guy who has a title and some money and security to give to his future wife. A true English Man TM he'll never be.

When Mina sees Dracula for the first time she sees herself leeching off Lucy because she's terrified of being predatory and bi.

We never get to see Dracula through Lucy's eyes but to her he would look like a mishmash of all of her suitors, that demands she loves them all.

And, hey that attack on Mina is narrated by Seward, right? So to Seward Dracula looks like a mix of Lucy and Renfield, the people he objectified the fuck out of.

Helsing never tells anyone, but he totally sees Dracula as Seward, because he's ashamed to want him.

(Yes, there'd be some implications that Renfield was the only person who saw Dracula as he was and it fucked him up deep and good, don't you know me)

Entertainment mountain is a giant boulder that the Clockers are playing house on. Cleo was declared Mom because she is the tallest out of the entertainers, and because she keeps yelling at Scar to put his shirt back on

Scar has a bunch of erasers and bracelets and stuff from the school store that he keeps trying to trade with everyone

The Bad Boys claimed the playground as their territory. They all have kiddie sunglasses. Joel's are too big for him and slip down his nose.

Cleo declares a game of The Floor is Lava every time the Bad Boys annoy her.

Boogeyman curse is a game of tag

The Bad Boys made Bad Boys Bread Bridge out of everyone's lunchboxes. They hopped on the lunchboxes during The Floor is Lava so Joel could tag one of the Clockers

Skizz and Bdubs' fight was an actual fistfight. Skizz tapped Bdubs once and was declared winner

realizing cis women also struggle with “passing” a lot of times and has a lot of the same issues with dysphoria trans women have (issues with putting on/losing weight, dissatisfied with bust size, not feeling “feminine” enough, etc.) has done a lot to combat dysphoria for me, cause it’s like, wow, we really have a lot more in common than we have in difference huh
