Senator Steven Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I still think MGR has one of the best video game finales from the past decade.

One of the most life-changing things I ever learned came from Mythbusters, where they tested and proved (with cognitive testing puzzles and reaction time tests) that lying down and resting with the intention to sleep STILL provided significant mental benefits over just staying awake, even if a person couldn’t fall asleep in the amount of time they had.
It helps me to actually sleep to know that just lying down with my eyes closed is still doing me some good, and helps me to not freak out/beat myself up when I stay up later than intended. Any amount of rest is better than no rest!
So if you didn’t know that…now you do

DMC character themed perfumes (translation)
Capcom Cafe had themed perfumes based on Dante, Nero, V and Vergil and I wrote the ingredients for these perfumes so that we can have at least an idea of how they smell like.
(Dante) An Oriental woody fragrance. The top note contains the aroma of hot, exotic cloves. Although it is a masculine, woody fragrance, the base contains the familiar scent of vanilla and crystal musk that give a sweet and mild aroma.
Dante’s toughness and the charm of his mellowness become the theme of this fragrance.
(Nero) Navy blue fragrance. The top note stands out through the refreshing fragrance of lime, followed by the base which has the texture of wild wood that is supported strongly by the scent of oakmoss.
The fragrance is a representation of Nero’s dynamism and his clear spiritual growth. (I have no idea what the navy blue part is supposed to mean…)
(V) Fresh chypre fragrance. The top note is overwhelmed by the scent of bergamot, apple and lemon, making an impressive and mysterious fragrance. The middle note is composed from blooming white flowers, such as jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and gardenia. V’s style became the theme of this fragrance filled with bewildering and dramatic changes.
(Vergil) The top note starts with has a cooling, sharp minty feel, followed by the wafting of distinguished cedarwood and lastly, the amber gives rise to a stoic and Oriental feel. The charm of Vergil’s unruly aloofness and his way of life as a seeker of truth became the theme of this fragrance.
(Hmm, based on the ingredients I think I would like V’s perfume despite the fruity notes, ‘cause I don’t like sweet aromas for a perfume, but it has my favorite flowers. Then it would be Nero’s because it feels like it’s a masculine scent which I like more rather than feminine ones, Vergil’s might be similar and sadly, I have to place Dante’s last because I am not a fan of cloves or vanilla in a perfume…)

if anyone was curious, john the armadillo is likely a reference to the original dracula film in 1931, where armadillos were included as one of several animals around the castle :) at the time, armadillos were thought to dig their way into coffins to eat cadavers.
