Like idk if you read the lancesteban mafia au where they had a short scene, but yeah it would make so much sense that George got kicked from med school for stealing drugs (maybe amphetamines)
Also he isn’t that into the mafia life in the OG fic, he’s just a medic for questionable legality and working for Lewis (who basically makes money off of those “private operational favors”)
