since I mentioned autistic people who don't have a big library of knowledge they can share at a moment's notice a lot of autistic people seemed to relate. which is great! a lot of people mention their memory problems, which is such a mood as an autistic person with memory problems myself. however comments have made it seem like the only reason that autistic people aren't a secret expert on whatever topic interests them is because of memory problems. like you keep learning and forgetting. but like there's also autistic people who just can't learn a bunch of things in the first place? autistic people who don't understand enough about their interests to get the facts and figures in the first place. my love is for those autistic people as well

you have to release yourself from the pressure of writing Blorbo from Your Shows in your fics because that's literally impossible. instead you are writing Your Portrayal of Blorbo. everyone has different interpretations and headcanons and focuses on different things when writing characters and that's beautiful.
