i need to make some sort of promise to write more. not necessarily to improve anything OR to prove anything to anyone, i just miss it.
i've been working out lately. yes i'm out of shape and could stand to be healthier but let's face it, i just want to be skinny. not fooling anyone, least of all myself.
i've learned to frame my workouts in such a way that instead of getting bored or tired or discouraged, i continue to push myself as some sort of masochistic punishment. and it WORKS. go figure.
i'm in a relationship again and it's really strange. good, mostly. and strange and sometimes fun.
i feel like i just got out of a yearlong coma and i have to relearn all these otherwise normal human functions and interactions. still as awkward as ever. but oh well.

LISTEN, I totally dig Neil Sedaka. I DO. But doesn't he seem better suited for like, a sugary-family-type sitcom? ARE WE SURE HE ISN'T DANNY THOMAS?!?!?!

I spoke to Howard Kaylan a couple times on twitter just to tell him how awesome he is. And I don't care how silly that sounds.

I am completely 100% head-over-heels in love with Howard Kaylan.
Even during his grungy Mothers of Invention phase.
It’s true love.
