People say a lotta things about me I guess. Some people say I ain't no good 'cause I'm a greaser, an' some people say I ain't no greaser 'cause I ain't livin' in the northside. Some people say I'm a faggot but likin' what I like don't make me a bitch...

"And that's why you should never listen to the fuckin' streets. Motherfuckers think I'm a richie now and I ain't try and get robbed yet. That means people are still scared of me." He grinned. While he wasn't struggling how he used to, Two-Bit was far from being rich or bougie even as an actor with steady work. "Came to see you. Asked around. Somebody who I assumed was one of your little ho ho hos told me where I could find ya. Are all the straight people you know Perrie? Anyways let's get lunch or somethin'.I'm starvin'."
"Yeah, streets are saying you ain't even look at the price of shit anymore you bougie bitch," they teased, though there was nothing but love behind the words because they had seen first hand how hard he'd worked to claw his way to where he was now. "Guess you can fondle my bells," the hat jingled as it was handed over, and Stradlin smoothed their hair out in the reflection of the bakery's front window. "What are you doing out anyways? Anything fun? All the straight men we know are too busy doing girlfriend shit apparently so alas, you're my only ho..."

"Anywhere, anytime you know how I get down, Strad." The former greaser winked in their old friend's direction already knowing that they knew there was no point in continuing if an insult was their angle, "Oh yeah, well it's good to know my legacy lives on even though I'm outta the B&E business. Aye can I hold your hat? I like your little jingle bells."
"Eat a–" they paused, attempting to catch the skittle with their mouth but failing and snatching it with their hand instead. There was no point bringing dicks into the conversation when Two-Bit was around, so they gave up with a bratty wrinkle of their nose. "Who says I only got one side? I grew up with you, I learned some shit."

Two-Bit grinned like a mad man as he poured skittles out of his hand, shook them, and popped a few in his mouth, "Yeah, but you've got the cutest little side hustler I ever seen." He told them with a smile while they tossed a skittle in their direction. "'Least you're gettin' it honest. My side hustles were always like fuckin'...petty theft and shit."
"What, you never seen a fuckin' elf before?" Stradlin kicked off from where they'd been leaning on the wall outside Magnolia's, very clearly having escaped from the Santa photo setup in the mall. Yeah, they looked stupid, but money was money at the end of the day. "Everyone's got a side hustle."

"Okay so don't tell anyone I made you a cocktail. The boss really doesn't like that around here, but when it's slow the coyotes have to entertain ourselves somehow and you're our first judge in tonight's 'something out of nothing' cocktail contest.

“Oh? Just how much experience exactly? Like if you had to measure it in…a jar of marbles. How many marbles would you say?” She laughed at her own question. “Well I’ve always loved a bit of drama. Makes life worth living.” She happily kissed her back and brought her hands up to gently rest on the side of Mia’s face. “Your sappy secret is safe with me. I mean t-shirt it’s generous. It’s a very cropped crop top. I would never dare to cover you up, not when the sunset is hitting you like this,” she added with a wink. “We do deserve this. And like 30 minutes, I think. Depends, you want to get a drink first? I think I definitely have space for another, especially if you’re taking me home tonight.”
*
"Oh so much and if we're using the very scientific unit of measurement that is a jar of marbles I'd say we're gonna have to use multiple jars, baby." Mia kissed Titania, smiling into her partner's lips all the while, "I love a crop top." It was Mia's turn to do a little spin for her girl, "Yeah, let's get a drink, something strong we can sip on and finish before the set starts. Of course I'm taking you home, gorgeous. But what are the odds I can get you to finally get into a mosh pit with me."

“Oh, I mean of course. Gotta go make our confessions y todo. I love your brain. That sounds amazing. I’ve just so happened to hydrate the right amount to get absolutely wrecked. And I’ve got my best walking shoes though I think someone can draw the shortstick and be our designated driver. I vote Damon,” he told him with a smirk, knowing that the way his brother was now, he might actually do it if Hernando asked in the right away. Aka guilted him. “Your favorite flavor, of course. Nice and layered. Perfect amount of frosting. All you need is a big fork, dude. Come on, first round is on me.”
*
"I love that you say things like you're wearing your best walking shoes when I suggest a bar crawl. Never change, Nando. I don't know, Damon's pretty fun when he's happy drunk, we could just do Ubers but I don't even know if we'll really need 'em too many times. Especially if we're puttin' those walking shoes to work, big guy." Matty said while throwing some soft jabs at Nando's stomach. "Wait, so you hold on you remembered today was the day? I fuckin' love you, man."

“Oh come on, I’d say a perfect, perfect body,” Hernando joked, opening up his arms wide as he practically jumped onto Matty to give him a hug. “Free at last! I was really starting to think your parole officer just liked our company with how often they were coming around.” To say Nando was happy for his best friend would have been an understatement. He had been counting down the days on his calendar and was uniquely prepare for it. “Well what’s in your plan cause I may or may not have a cake ready.”
*
Matty already had arms wide open ready to receive Hernando and he spun around and jumped up and down a few times before he put his friend down, still grinning. "Well, as any law abiding citizen I'm thinking that maybe we go to Bible study and turn up for the Lord...or we get a drink at every fuckin' bar in the city limits, north and southside. That way folks can meet us on stops, fuck off when they want but we keep the party goin' all night until the mission is complete. And eat that fuckin' cake, what flavor?"

“so what i’m hearing is you lost fingers while you were on parole? couldn’t be possible. I had eyes on you like a hawk.” elena replied, her head tilted as she looked matty over. she tried her best not to smile but his excitement was infections and she couldn’t help but crack a small one. “uh huh, i obviously get celebration rights regardless if i say a smartass comment or not.” which she was still formulating what that smartass comment would be but she bit her tongue in the meantime.
*
Matty furrowed his eyebrows letting Elena's words sink in until he caught on, "Thumbs, two thumbs. You know what I meant." To drive his point, Matty threw up his two middle fingers, with a huge grin on his face, "Nah, your celebration rights have been revoked. I warned you. You think you can say anything to me just because you're fine as fuck and I'm crazy about you? Nah. I'm in love, not a simp. I’m gonna go buy a brick of blow bigger than my head and none for you." He joked, probably wasn’t a good one considering why he’d been on parole in the first place but Matty was too happy to care about that.

“Alright fuckers, guess who has two fingers, a near perfect body by anyone’s standards and is as of right now officially off of parole. And before you try and answer with some smartass comment just know I fully plan on celebrating and your next words determine if you get to celebrate with me or not. And trust me, you want to.”

“Yeah, absolutely. Don’t sound shocked. I am greedy. Especially with you.” Titania smirked as she did a little turn for her before getting closer to her. “Oh? I feel like you and Luna are always having interesting conversations at parties. I love the aesthetic,” she teased and pressed another kiss to her lips. “For the good, I hope.” Titania knew that their relationship had started in a way that felt like taking a risk. It had been scary to admit their feelings, especially when they were in completely different places in their lives in terms of what they wanted. But Titania hadn’t regretted any moment of it. “Ah so I’ve made you into a sap, huh? Good, it looks cute on you. I’ve been having fun. Waiting for Gen’s set so I can scream my ass off. You wanna join me for that? They have a brilliant set list and I may or may not have made us both tshirts for it. Plus I need someone to help me make fun of Damon acting like a fangirl in the front. We need good pictures.”
*
"I don't know if I've ever thought of you and thought 'greedy' and I have a lot of experience in thinking of you." Mia rolled her eyes with a fond smile on her face, as she watched Titania turn, "This one was a special brand of interesting. She likes a girl, like really likes her. Poor thing doesn't know what to do with herself, so the aesthetic tonight was 'dramatic'. Mia slipped her arm around Titania's waist and kissed the woman again, feeling an urge to be close, maybe as she was forced to think back on her own dramatic impasse with Titania while trying to help Luna out, "Yeah, and we have to keep that information under lock and key. The coyotes smell blood and it's over for me." She was already nodding, "Yeah, I'm yours for the rest of the night, T-shirts though? Hmm weird how you'd want to cover me up but sure. Oooh how could I ever pass up making fun of Damon, we deserve this. How long until that starts? Should we be heading over there now?"

“Don’t call my band weird.” Luna scowled at her. She had a point, though. She moved around a lot with the specific goal of never putting down roots anywhere. It was just as much of a shock to her that she was staying put anywhere let alone in Rosewood. “Could be for nothing, who know? You’d have to ask your good pal fate about that.” She teased. “What’s the play here if you’re me? Do I just apologize to her for running away and tell her how I feel even though it’s going to be embarrassing and cringe and she might drop me after I do? Then I have to stay and see her around town? The band could find another bassist…”
"Fight me about it. You know I'd win." Mia smirked, if Luna needed these little moments of levity to work her shit out then Mia was happy to comply even if she did flip the girl off for every smart ass comment made, "If I were you...yeah, I'd tell her that we should talk. You both know you hit on something you can't really take back so forward is the only real play you have there. Be embarrassing and cringe if you think she's worth being embarrassing and cringe for. We'll handle what happens after when we get there. Regardless you won't be running away. I forbid it."

“Did I look as sexy coming out of the water as I thought? I was really trying to go for fantasy right then and there.” Titania smiled as she wrapped her towel around her and made her way towards Mia. Titania was happy to be home after another long stretch of press tours for a Netflix series she was in. A new season, new storyline, lots of things to keep her busy but nothing quite as exciting as spending time with her girlfriend. She loved how easy it was for them to do their own thing, make time for friends and their own fun but they always found each other at the end of the night. “I was trying to give you a show,” she teased and leaned in for a kiss. “Everyone checked and accounted for? Remind me to show you the video of Vaughn taking the slide earlier, it’s already my favorite.” @call-me-two-bit
*
"It's not enough for you to be my dream girl, you have to be my fantasy too? Greedy." Mia teased while pretending to fan herself, by now her brain was too foggy for her to want to swim, but she thoroughly enjoyed watching her girlfriend splash around. "Something like that. Among other things I had a very interesting conversation with my ex, Luna among other things. You've changed me you know." Mia said as she pulled Titania in by her waist, "You have me being the kind of person who believes that certain things are fated.” Mia leaned in for another quick kiss, “What about you?”

Luna laughed softly. She always felt like the logical one in the room but lately she’d wondered whether her logic was fear based and keeping her from experiencing life the way she could have been experiencing it. “You’re probably right. It’s always easier to be calm for someone else’s shit.” She thanked her for the shot and knocked it back without a moment of pause. She wanted to do another one but she didn’t want to be the girl who got drunk because she was lamenting over a girl. “You’re a fate girlie now? Really? That’s dramatic. I doubt I would hate you.”
*
"Not 100% but yeah I think that it plays a part in things. Don't misunderstand me, we still steer our lives but maybe we're more co-pilots with fate rather than flying solo, do you know what I mean?" Mia rolled her eyes, "You know for what it's worth, and I don't think it's all because of a girl but I'm thinking she played a part in it, but I have seen a change in you. I never thought I'd see Luna Rice want to stick around anywhere. But you have a band, a weird band but a band, you work and you've opened up to a person. That's a lot of fucking change and whatever happens, none of it was for nothing."

Luna followed her lead without worry much about what would come next. She was six steps ahead and imagining what her next conversation with Cami would be like. It was hard to picture it going well but she tried to keep her hopes up. “Were you always this zen and logical? I don’t remember your takes being this hot a few years ago.”
*
“Am I giving zen and logical? That’s good to know.” Mia said as she approached and asked for two shots, “I’ve always been logical, fuck you very much but the zen is.. I don’t know, maybe it’s just easier to be zen about something on the outside looking in, and maybe I need to be the calm one for you since you are obviously not.” Once she received the shots, she handed on over to Luna, “I asked for whiskey. Bottom’s up.” Mia took the shot, screwing her face up momentarily, “And I don’t know I hate to be obnoxious about it, but I’m more of a believer in what’s meant to be will be these days. I fought hard against my thing with Titania, so fucking hard and we happened anyway. It’s hard not to believe that some things are just meant to happen after all of that. If you were around during that whole era you would hate me. ”

“She does.” she insisted. Which was part of why Luna felt so awful for abandoning her earlier when all she’d wanted to do was talk. “Yeah, I definitely want to do some shots.” She didn’t know whether it was the best idea but she wanted to forget some of the pain she was currently feeling and alcohol had a way of doing exactly that. “That’s bullshit. I never wanted this before so why do I suddenly want it now?”
**
Mia was far from above temporarily taking the edge off, as long as there was balance. You wouldn't catch her encouraging Luna to get black out drunk, but she could do with something taking the edge off a bit, "Let's go then." She said, taking her wrist and leading her towards one of the drink tables, "Because people change and the things they want at one point in time doesn't always stay the same. You found someone that made you see the value in romantic companionship. It doesn't sound like a suddenly, you said it yourself that you’ve been seeing her for over a year."

“You don’t need to hate her. She treats me like gold.” Unfortunately, Mia was right. There was no way to know for sure one way or another without actually talking to Cami about what she was feeling and what she was afraid of. She laughed, surprising herself. “None taken. I’m being a scared little bitch right now. I am scared. What if this conversation means it’s over? Obviously you’re glad you talked to Titania about it because you two are living happily ever after. I have a feeling she’ll tell me we have to end it if I can’t get on board with her harem of lovers.”
**
"Mmm I won't give her a green check mark just yet but sure I won't 'hate' her I guess. But she fucking better." Mia smirked but she wasn't entirely joking. "Oh the no offense was sarcasm. Do you want to do some shots?" Mia considered Luna's question before answering right away, "At the very least you know what you want and what you don't out of a relationship."
