Seasonal Depression?

(In all seriousness, I loved the new episode!)

Exactly! At the risk of oversimplifying, I think depression often visits people who feel things very deeply. Tilly is such a positive and sweet girl but is also wise and extremely empathetic. Being such a big "feeler", I figured Tilly must also get depressed sometimes although we had never really seen it in the show.

One of our amazing writing teams, Lacey Dyer and Julia Layton came up with the ennui angle (well before we all saw Inside Out 2) which gave the episode a much funnier framework. They wrote a fantastic script. Glad you liked it.
