top 5 people you'd get down n dirty in bed with, go
“Can this include people I’ve already slept with? I mean, I’m just going to include them anyways. Woody’s definitely on that list. Also Amelia, Paxton, Matteo and... okay, fine, Dom, but don’t go telling him because his ego’s big enough as it is.”

what's your favorite thing about your job?
“Definitely the tips, but I also love the sisterhood I’ve formed with some of the other girls there, since we could all understand the struggles that come with this job.”

tcnleywarden:
“The same as usual. We showed up, got drunk, did our laps only to realize nobody else was worth the bother, and ended up goin’ home with each other. Couldn’t stay in his bed all day so eventually I showed myself out.” Things with Mason were never dull or boring, but the two developed a particular routine at this point. Some nights they genuinely wanted each other— other nights they simply didn’t want anyone else. Either way the beauty in the arrangement was that it provided Ten with all the benefits of a relationship without the complications of a genuine commitment. To most people she played off the idea that she just didn’t want anything serious, but Callie knew the truth. After what happened with Logan she couldn’t bring herself to make that leap of faith again, even if on the inside she desperately wanted to. “Was it Officer Bates? That man can never hold his damn alcohol. I’ve seen seventh graders with a higher tolerance.” Snickering softly against the rim of her coffee mug Ten took a long and slow sip. The entire town of Clearmont was predictable in their habits, it seemed. Only one situation stuck out as unexpected, and it had everything to do with the other half of their conversation— Woody and his child. “Probably like bein’ blindfolded and slapped in the face with a bag’a bricks lit on fire,” the blonde wagered as she balanced the cup in the palm of one hand, “ain’t no way he saw that one comin’ and it had to hurt.” She knew all about Lily, of course, but while she didn’t agree with Rina’s choice to keep her a secret there hadn’t been much she could do about it over the past several years.
Callie raised her eyebrows at Tenley and couldn’t help but smirk. “You don’t really like him that much, do you?” She asked with a slight chuckle. It amused Callie to no end hearing about people and their relationships with other people, because it was interesting how a lot of people knew each other in this town, and how one connection could be so different from another person’s. “Yeah, it was! Poor guy just doesn’t know his limits, or maybe he does know and pretends said limit just doesn’t exist so he wouldn’t have to deal with it,” Callie said with a shake of her head. “Yeah, I can’t even begin to imagine how he’s feeling since I didn’t even see him at his own party. Word around the town is that he left his own party without a girl on his arm. Can you believe that? Woody, just getting out of prison, and not hopping into his bed with some girl who’s up for a good time? I...” Callie’s voice faded as she remembered Woody. Apparently, it had been obvious to a lot of people but not to her that there was something between the two of them. Woody took her out for dinner sometimes and they laughed together too many times to count and he was silly and goofy and Callie adored that of him, but when he was locked up, a lot of people went to her to try and comfort her, something she hadn’t really expected, not when she thought he and Rina were going to end up together. “I missed him, but I don’t... that news just... changes everything.”

tilyoudie:
“Oh, you know me, Cal. Just trying to get your attention.” Daryl retorted after she’d made her remark. He chose to put the cigarette back in the carton, knowing full well he’d have to retreat back to the clubhouse or elsewhere to find a lighter. Or, some matches. “Been alright, kid’s starting preschool so it’s been a minute. How about you? Everything alright?”
“You’re a lucky man since you now have all of it,” Callie said with a smile. “Damn, already? Time flies pretty fast around here, don’t you think?” She asked incredulously with a shake of her head. In a couple of days, she’d be turning thirty, so that was pretty mind-blowing for her since she could literally remember being twenty as if it just happened yesterday. “Oh, you know me, just going where the wind takes me. No boyfriend, still a stripper and frankly, I’m starting to feel old,” she said, chuckling.

paxton-riley:
As soon as she heard the familiar voice, Paxton relaxed and stepped closer, out of habit. She knew that she had taken Callie by surprised but it annoyed her beyond anything that the girl was alone outside, in an enclosed alley by herself at this time of night. Even if they had only slept together, she still cared for the woman. A smile made it’s way to the officer’s face as Callie mentioned her being her favorite. “I’d hope there was no one else above me.” Paxton paused before continuing, “I was just about to head back to the station to finish up for the night, so yes, technically I’m on duty.” Paxton looked around the alley, “Are you closing up by yourself? Did you need any help with that?” Again she took a step forward to take the bag.
“And why would there ever be anyone above you, huh?” Callie teased. She and Paxton slept together a couple of times in the past, and they had been able to foster a friendship through it all. Callie was definitely grateful for her presence in her life, even though she didn’t tend to admit that often. “Yeah. The sooner I throw things out, the sooner I can go home,” she said before nodding. “There’s another one right beside the door so can you get it for me please?” Callie asked before hauling the bag she was holding into the dumpster. “So, how’ve you been? I feel like it’s been forever since I saw you.”

amavry:
“God no,” he replied with a snort. “The world would end before I started dating again.” Been there, done that – Amaury just wasn’t the committed relationship sort of guy. Though he’d probably mentioned his ex in the past, that had been before he moved to Clearmont and Callie wouldn’t know the whole story behind that. “I’m sure I could if I looked; I just don’t see the point. We used to live fine without them and now everyone’s addicted.”
“How come?” Callie asked with a small smile. As someone who tends to fall in love rather easily and someone who wears her heart on her sleeve - even when she had convinced herself that she wasn’t ‘that sort of girl’ - it was hard for her to understand why some people decided to stop dating, or say no to the idea of love without giving other people a chance. “Yeah, I definitely see that. I walked by a group of high school kids today and they just... sat there at a table, just staring at their phones. They weren’t even talking to each other.”

· · · ❝ conversationalist is a word hayes. ❞ she chortled; hand covering her mouth as a means to hide her growing grin. it would appear the blonde was fairly intoxicated. rolling her eyes in fake irritation, she pushed the glass of water closer to callie.
“is it? that’s good because it sounded pretty messy in my head there for a second,” callie said, her drunken laughter louder than she would’ve liked. “what, water? you’re giving me water? didn’t i ask for more beer?”

“I know the feeling,” Callie said with a small rueful grin. It was sad that they had to bond over something like this but it’s something that she deals with on a daily basis as well. “I mean, being a stripper in a town like this... you’re bound to deal with some assholes here and there but can they just stop when you’re not working? I mean, they shouldn’t be like assholes even when you’re working but when you step out of your workplace, they should just... stop. One time, a guy literally jammed a hundred into my bra strap while I was at a fucking supermarket and told me to give him a private show in his car. The only thing I gave him was a black eye,” Callie said with a roll of her eyes.
Kenna spied an approaching figure from the side wearing an all too familiar grin. She’d seen it a hundred times before and, quite frankly, it was getting old. “Yeah, I’m her. No, I don’t want you to buy me a drink and no, I don’t want your number. Never gonna happen buddy. Stick to your fantasies and move on.” Without giving him another moment of her attention she huffed out a sigh and rolled her eyes toward the nearest person at her left. “This is exactly why I just drink at home.”

“I can’t believe someone would call this Granddaddy Purple. Is there such a thing as a purple grandfather? I mean, is that some sort of inside joke the whole universe is in on and I have no idea what it means?” Callie asked with a chuckle. She was usually up for anything and since she didn’t have a shift until tomorrow, she went with her friend, not really knowing how else to spend her time, since she definitely didn’t want to spend it all alone in her place. “Whichever you’re more in the mood for, honestly. I like Strawberry Cough, though. It sounds sweeter.”
SIFTING a hand through his golden locks, Link’s eyes scanned the various strains of marijuana as he tried to think of what he was in the mood for. He’d managed to blag a card to help with depression & anxiety– however, those only reared their ugly heads during dysmorphic stints. Right now? He just wanted a high, and a good one at that. “What do you think? Granddaddy Purple or Strawberry Cough? Then again, there’s always edibles…That’s the problem with this place, too many options.”

dcminicspada:
“Alright— just for that I’m goin’ fuckin’ penguin on your ass and givin’ you nothing but a god damn pebble off the streets.” His joking declaration was matched with a pair of dark orbs narrowed in her direction. There wasn’t a doubt in his mind that Calle would accept any ring, no matter who was putting it on her finger, but he had to give her a hard time for the response, anyways. It was just how they worked. Just for laughs he was already planning to look for the ugliest rock he could find outside of work that night to gift her at the end of their shifts. Tipping his beer back Dom swallowed a heavy gulp and then finally pushed away from the counter, grabbing her beer as well and following her steps toward the living room. “Don’t need some fancy ass blinged out ring to know I’ll be keepin’ my girl more than happy,” his mouth edged into a lewd grin as his brows gave a suggestive wiggle, “trust me.” She’d have to considering it wasn’t like she was about to find out personally. Their friendship was the closest he had outside of the club, but they weren’t close like that… As if talking up his sex life was the most normal thing in the world ( and it kind of was ) Dom gave nothing more than a laugh after that and sank down onto the couch cushions beside her. It only took a matter of seconds before he was falling sideways, landing the back of his head dead center in her lap. When it came to hanging out at Callie’s place he made himself right at home. “I sure hope you’re not my mom… that’d be awkward as hell considerin’ I’ve seen your tits a time or two up on that pole… how would I explain that to dad? Does he even know about your double life? I mean shit— this is gunna make for one hell of a next family dinner…” Glancing up at her from his position below he held a serious expression for one, maybe two, beats and then erupted into laughter. It seemed he couldn’t stop, either, because the noise continued to overshadow the sound of the TV for a solid half minute before he finally calmed down enough to gulp in a full breath. As he laid there staring up at her a depth of sincerity washed over his relaxed features. “I know you ain’t ever gunna stop worryin’ about me but… face it, Cal. I’m always gunna come home bleedin’ ‘n broken,” assuming he came home at all, “no use stressin’ yourself out over the small shit,” he continued as a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes began to form against his mouth, “it’ll just give ya wrinkles on that pretty face and, let’s be real here, it’s your money maker.” Well, that and a few of her other assets, but he was going to keep that particular comment to himself for once. “Let me come to the rescue for a change n’ just relax.” Whether that meant by fixing her truck or giving her yet another ride to work on the back of his bike didn’t really matter. She took care of him in more ways than just patching up his wounds after a rough night. There was an intense need coiling in the pit of his stomach to see her taken care of, too. Dom did the best he could on any given day, but he knew even that usually wasn’t enough. The club took up so much of his time— it was hard to be there every time she called and needed a hand. Being able to promise her those two small things and actually mean it mattered to him. Thinking about it, even for those few seconds, seemed to bring a heavier weight to the mood so with a quiet clearing of his throat Dom flashed her a lopsided grin. “And for the record? I’m layin’ in your lap… I’ll be able to tell if you’re lyin’ about them panties.” Yep— with the flash of a wink he was back. Chortling over his own joke he finally turned his head to look at the screen, reaching up and over blindly to grab a handful of popcorn out of her bowl. “As serious as a cop askin’ me if I had anythin’ to do with a few dead Dragons…” So maybe that was a lie… once upon a time he thought himself in love, but it hadn’t quite worked out the way he’d imagined at the time. The brutal and confusing ending to that relationship just served to prove to him that love didn’t exist. How could it when the one person who you always thought would be there for you no matter what could so easily walk away? Before any sign of bitterness could settle in his cleared his throat again and stared at the opening scene playing out across the screen. “I already have a family and every last one’a ‘em has a Wolves kutte on their back. Don’t need much more than that.” Of course he did, but it’d be a cold day in hell before he admitted it out loud. Wanting that sort of thing wasn’t healthy because it wasn’t going to happen. Shoving another palm of popcorn into his mouth he stayed quiet and chewed through the bite, only picking back up once it safely cleared his throat. “I’ll take the blame, just don’t go gettin’ makeup all over my shirt if your tears get the best of you. It’s one’a my nice ones.” Meaning it looked exactly the same as all the rest— faded black from the sun but still dark enough to hide anything and everything that might come his way.
Callie burst out laughing at his words, and the idea of Dom giving her a pebble was both ridiculous and hilarious. “Don’t you fucking dare!” She exclaimed, playfully slapping his arm. “But penguins are freaking adorable, you know? Do you know just how awesome it would be to have one as a pet? To play with it and hug it? I want one. Can you buy me one as your wedding gift for me?” Callie asked, letting out another laugh. They were being silly, and she knew just how rarely Dom allowed people to see him like this so Callie appreciated the hell out of it. She knew that a lot of people talked about the big things that have happened in their lives as what they’d look back on when they’re older but she didn’t completely agree, since she’d look back on the little things, such as seeing Dom smile and laugh, having someone to hug tightly, hand holding, soft touches, the unsaid knowledge that someone trusts her with their life. It was cliche, she knew, and her thoughts made her out to be some lovestruck dreamer kind of a high school student, but after everything that she’s been through, Callie has learned to appreciate those little things, and enjoy them every time they happened. She merely raised an eyebrow at his next words before smirking at him. “You can be such a cocky ass sometimes,” Callie teased him with a giggle. “I don’t doubt that for one second, though. You happy I agree with you on that?” She asked with a laugh. “And, what? You don’t think I can keep my man happy? I know a thing or two about keeping guys... satisfied,” she added, the smirk very well intact on her lips. She could talk to Dom about practically anything, and though she knew they joked constantly and teased each other mercilessly, she knew he would never judge her, no matter what she did. As soon as his head was settled on her lap, Callie rested the bowl of popcorn on his stomach, while her other hand immediately went to his hair, stroking it affectionately. It was a usual move, but she didn’t think he understood just how much she enjoyed being the one to take care of him, instead of it constantly being the other way around. She was generally a very affectionate person, and she was most affectionate with Dom, but he constantly gave her a feeling of security and safety and warmth and being able to reciprocate that meant the world to her. Callie couldn’t help but guffaw at his silliness, his words, and she mockingly made a surprised expression. “You really can’t tell your father about this life. I don’t think he’s going to agree with me, son.” Callie laughed along with him and once more, she was hit with the realization that it was the small things - moments like this - that made her truly happy.
“Hey, I... I know I can’t tell you how to live your life and what you should or shouldn’t do, and I won’t, but just... take care of yourself, okay? Please?” Callie said, looking down at him with wide, sincere eyes as her hand continued to stroke his hair gently. She hated seeing him in pain, but every single time he came to her all messed up, he knows she’ll always be there for him. “Did you just call me pretty?” She teasingly asked before letting out a giggle. “Is this the part where I tell you that you’re pretty cute too, or is your ego already too big for even more compliments from me?” Callie teased. “My hero,” she playfully said, her tone like that of a damsel in distress from the movies who have just been rescued by the knight in shining armor. Callie couldn’t help but laugh again at his joke and she shook her head at him before playfully sticking out her tongue. “Even if my panties do end up getting wet, what are you going to do about it?” She challenged, raising an eyebrow as she looked at him with the most vixen-like expression she could muster, the type she saved when she was heavily flirting with someone she liked, but she couldn’t hold it for very long and burst out laughing. “Hey, what about me? I’m your family too,” Callie said with a small pout. It was hard for her to wrap her head around the idea that some people have never been in love, since she’s been in love a few times already, and the pain that came with the heartbreak was something that she could optimistically say was worth all the happy times she had been through. “But really? Like... never? Haven’t you ever had a first love? High school sweetheart? Some childhood friend that you thought you’d end up with? A sweet nurse patching you up while you were in the Marines?” Callie asked, unable to just drop the topic, since it was pretty unbelievable for her. She smirked down at him as she continued to stroke his hair. “This is the part where you’re going to have to call me pretty again - being called beautiful would also be acceptable - because I’m not wearing any makeup right now. at least not yet,” Callie said with a large smile before letting out a giggle. “How many black shirts do you even have at this point, cariño?” she teased him, before grabbing a handful of popcorn from the bowl as her eyes settled on the movie in front of them. “We should put on an alarm, by the way, in case we end up falling asleep. We can’t miss our shift,” Callie murmured, the coziness of their position making her feel a little drowsy already. It still amazes her that she was this comfortable with someone and she truly meant it when she thought of Dom as her family. Out of her blood-related family, her aunt was the only one she could truly say was her family, and the rest of who she considered her family were her friends that have become her family.
