My theory about "Pick an Ed" (season 5, episode 11) is that Plank was the one who wrote "Eddy is a no neck chump!" on the school wall and I don't mean that as a joke. I'm being completely unironic about this.

(I apologize if anyone else has already brought up this headcanon. I don't mean to bring this up as if it were something new if it isn't. I just figured it out on my own)

There's no super deep analysis. I was just subtitling "Gimme, Gimme Never Ed" (season 3, episode 15) and I realized that Plank spends the entire episode being very rude to Eddy, and he even calls him a "fatheaded no-neck chicken-livered geek". I think he's the first one who makes fun of the fact that Eddy doesn't have a neck.

I think the number 1 suspect would naturally be Kevin since he's the one we see most expressing his hatred for Eddy. But we know that Kevin always calls the Eds "dorks" and how it takes a lot of effort on his part not to call them that. Even though writing "dork" would easily get him caught, I don't see him easily dropping that word to refer to Eddy (of course he calls him other names and he even called him no-neck at some point too, but his main insult is "dork").

How would Plank write? I have no idea. But while we don't know exactly what Plank can or can't do, we do know that he can do a lot of things that a piece of wood shouldn't be able to do, so I don't think writing on a wall would be difficult for him.

Plank has already shown himself to be quite evil and vengeful and it seems to me like the kind of thing he would do. And I like to think that it was him because it seems to me like the kind of joke/comical situation that the show would do, and precisely because Plank is the only one who would be able to write on the wall without being noticed and discovered, and that's why no one can ever know who the culprit was.

And I know Danny Antonucci said that Plank is just a regular piece of wood, but I don't buy it.
