my personal philosophy is that out of the whole cast, jane is the best fit for caroline/glados' role in homestuck-portal crossover AUs. i know it gets attributed to hal a lot because dirk is an actual STEM guy the way caroline was vs jane who has other interests (and because everyone cares more about hal being a supposedly evil AI rather than the actual malevolent AI that took over jane's mind) but i think it fits jane more given her themes as a character and the message being told about caroline within portal's story. even if you want hal to be glados anyway you could at least make him a lesbian

dave being a capitalist in the epilogues is obviously a fun contrast to communist karkat and i think effectively communicates that not all of the homestuck kids are realistically going to be the #radicalqueercommunists that readers possibly built them up to be but it is also just a really amusing consequence of the fact that he spent formative weeks of his life exploiting innocent crocodiles on the stock market

This poll is born out of an observation: most trans homestuck content (fanarts, fanfics, meta/theories, etc) seems to be created by trans fans. I'd like to confirm or infirm this observation with this poll.

who can say. i'd like to. the problem is its really easy to promise merch and then very difficult to actually make it without resorting to practices that are a little exploitative of the creatives involved. (making people do it for free, taking submissions, overworking etc)

idk how to phrase this… those people who are rbing ur posts have a really infatilizing tone and it really annoys me 😭😭 bc you’re literally in college And they’re just assuming ur kid bc of the stance you’re on?? i feel like it bleeds into a bigger issue but i just cant get the right words on to it. when i was a child i also got attacked by adults online and now as im older i would still side with you. a lot of people who think posts on here are a direct aim at them so they just decide to be mean about it instead of thinking for 2 minutes Idk Idk im sorry u have to deal with these people they suck :(
