This whole situation with Jorge really proves that they don’t want you to be a better person, they just want you to be perfect from day one.

She was 19, he was 21/22, all of this happened just over six years ago. This all went public years ago and Jorge has publicly apologized and made efforts to be a better person since then. He has been in a relationship with Talya for four years and according to her is not that way at all anymore.

So why are we cancelling him now….?

I am all for victims coming out publicly but the fact that she’s already been public about it before years ago then let things smooth over and chooses to do it again now with Epic and Illium the size they are it feels kind of fishy to me

About the Jorge allegations

Emily has every right to be upset but dragging it isn't helping anyone. Clinging onto this isn't healthy for her at all. Jorge apologized. It's obvious he's changed. People make mistakes. Nobody's perfect. He doesn't want people butting into his personal life. That much is obvious. And yes, we don't know him personally. But we don't know her either. I just personally think it's not any of our business. Please don't harass any of them. Or Talya.

Disclaimer: these are NOT requests. They are evicted plot bunnies.

Three things I thought of:

1. Poseidon, post Titanic-Olympic war, taking Calypso as a cupbearer/training her to be an aide or something (she’s called the Concealed for a reason and she has an enchanting voice that can bewitch the gods). He takes her to supervised visits with her father.

2. Zeus taking Odysseus’ form and seducing Calypso. Odysseus is disgusted (and in due time, so is Calypso). Happing while he’s on the island.

3. Hermes and Calypso carried on a secret mostly platonic relationship before the Trojan War. He left to help, she thought he abandoned her. They never told the other how they felt. When he returns to take his great grandson home, she is callous towards him. He pays it forward. Neither of them mean it.

sometimes i wish this Calypso community thing went outside of the small circle on this blog because the art for those ideas would go insanely hard

then i remember how modern fandoms are and i decide it's probably for the best of all of our sanities it stays a small inner circle thing tbh

little update on why I haven't posted anything in some time: I recently had surgery and have been recovering for the past few days.

I'm doing alright and am slowly starting to draw again, but still, my main focus is to take my time to recover.
