“Serena did more than just sharpen my game. She helped crystallize my sense of identity as a competitor. It's a gift to have someone who motivates you to reach those heights. And I'll forever forever be grateful for her bringing out the best in me, which she really did. We have always shared a deep mutual respect for and understanding of one another. Our backgrounds are more similar than what meets the eye. We both had fathers with incredible, bordering on unreasonable, levels of belief in their young daughters. They both made countless unspoken sacrifices to give us a chance at greatness. And I had personally a front row seat to how wholly dedicated they were to making us into champions. Once we fulfilled that potential, we both knew no other way than to fight our hearts out.”

Look who's back!!!
a bit of context behind this photo:
The 39-year-old Brighton midfielder made an emotional comeback as a late substitute at Tottenham on Sunday after nine months out.
The players have valued that help (by being the bridge between the coaching staff and players), and during the post-game celebrations at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Carlos Baleba and Yankuba Minteh showed their appreciation by carrying their teammate over to the fans. “I would have tried to fight them off but they’re both very strong,” he joked.
“He’s a legend,” Minteh said. “He has been there since day one for everyone, trying to help young players to fit in the system. I’m really happy that he’s back.
“You can’t describe [his influence]. He is amazing, like top, top, top, top level. If you want to be good in the future, you need to listen to him.
“Every day we, the young players, learn from him. Because he never tries to say ‘Oh, I’ve won everything, I can relax now’. He always trying to work hard, which I love. So it will be amazing if he stays.”
Milner has it in his sights because he is close to signing a one-year contract extension, with the Brighton manager, Fabian Hürzeler, making it clear that he values his experience and leadership.
