Though sometimes I do have ideas that I may not have time to do or get to do cause like I said I’m horrible at writing romance stories.

Jojo Ships Pixiv Tag List

Josuhan Day #2 The Echoes of their Hearts

Prompt: Confession! 

Day 2 is here! But as always I apologise for my terrible writing as this is purely unedited and will edit once I get everything sorted out. 

This is actually the third plan The Cupids have but I wrote it out today to fit the prompt.

Nobody said, that either of the two had to do the confession right? :D

Back at the café, Okuyasu looks at the list of plans they have written down for Plan: Josuhan. The next item on their list was:

Koichi's Plan!

Step 1: Have Josuke and Rohan argue as always

Step 2: While the two are distracted, Use Echoes to paste the words “I like you!” on one side of their ear so they could hear it.

Step 3: Confess!

This was actually Yukako's idea.

“Yukako…” Koichi began, “I don't think this will work…”

“Nonesense sweetie!” Yukako assured, “It’s just like what you did to me!”

Koichi could only worry about what went on his girlfriend’s thoughts. The last time he did that, was using the words “I hate you!” on her.  But it only worked once with his mother with the words “Believe me!”

“Nothing says instant romance with a love confession!” The Love Deluxe Stand User insisted on it.

Koichi blushed for a moment and sighed in defeat, “I guess we may as well try!”

“That’s the spirit dear!” Yukako applauded and gave her boyfriend a kiss in the forehead.

Okuyasu covered his face with the paper, and tried not to sob over the lovey dovey scene unfolding in front of him. Hearing Yukako’s happy giggles as she kissed her boyfriend, was what made it worse. So in an attempt to remove that from his mind, he slams at the table, shaking the cups of coffee, and then saying with sudden grand determination, “So now! We need to find a way to get these two to meet so they can argue! I suggest we go to the Park!”

Okuyasu was too caught up in the moment to realize that when he banged the table, the coffee cups not only shook, also spilled all over the table and at Yukako's skirt.

“Ah………….” Okuyasu wanted to run…

The first step was the easiest to do, Koichi and Okuyasu found. As the moment the two ‘lovebirds’ locked eyes, they began arguing and flinging insults at each other. As if they were on queue...

'They really are like an old couple….’ Koichi thought to himself.

Yukako took a sip of her cola and looked incredibly bored. Normally she would snap at the fact the two are still at it… again… But after watching them debate about anything for like the millionth time… it was getting a little too tedious for her.

“You really are an insufferable brat!” Rohan ridiculed Josuke.

“And you're a selfish asshole!” Josuke threw back.

Taking that as the signal he needed, Koichi immediately summoned Echoes and had the two sentences formed in front of it and quickly flung them towards the bickering rivals.

“I LIKE YOU!!!” 

As the Stand name goes, it echoed in their ears repeatedly with much fervour. As if it truly was a love confession.

Only…

Josuke turned to Koichi looking at him with much confusion, “Huh? What do you mean Koichi? You're of my best friends! Of course I like you!”

“Huh?!” Koichi could only look at him in shock.

“What's wrong Koichi?” Rohan was just as confused, “Of course the Great Kishibe Rohan likes you!”

“Huh?!” Koichi repeated his words. He didn't understand what had happened. 'Echoes pasted the words onto them. And they heard it!’ he thought of why this would happen, 'It is as if…. I… I...’

Koichi's mouth formed an “o” in realisation of his actions.

“O-of course!” The smaller began to cover up his a futile attempt, “You two are really good friends of mine! Yeah… yeah…” he also added in a laugh to with it, while Echoes swiftly removed the sentences attached to their faces.

“Of course!” Rohan said proudly. “I am indeed your greatest friend rather than this oaf of a brat.” He thumbed towards Josuke.

“You're the greatest friend?!” Josuke didn't take that insult too well, and then angrily spoke back to the mangaka…

Now it is as if nothing had happened to them… They were still throwing insults at each other and bickering over everything. Koichi instead fell still in silence and looked at the sentence Echoes took off of his friends’ faces.

I like you…

Looking at it now… He realized how stupid he was, that the thought never occurred to him.

Facepalming to himself, he whispered to Okuyasu and Yukako what had transpired, “Everything worked out as planned it’s just…” He looked at the words again, “It’s just no matter what words I put in there… The sound from it will always come out as… as… my voice…”

Yukako almost replicated Koichi’s initial reaction when the truth hit her.

“Huh?” Okuyasu became confused as he didn’t understand what his friend meant. “What do you mean by that Koichi?”

“Here…” Echoes pasted the ‘I like you’ at Okuyasu’s ear and just like he explained. Koichi’s voice resonated in his ear, repeating the words over and over again.

“Oh…”

The two nodded in unison…

PLAN: FAILED!!
