Just looked at a blog where the header description said 'sometimes I reblog posts I like so I don't forget them'.
And I feel like that, right there, explains so much about how the site has changed in the last few months.
People now think reblogging is an unusual behaviour, rather than a default.
Tumblr newbies, please, for the love of baby Jesus, reblog the posts you like. That is the whole reason the site exists - for you to collect all your shiny fandom objects in a single space. Which you can organize to your heart's content. Or not organize at all, if that's your jam.
Our blogs are intended to be collections of posts, not collections of likes.

It's pricless
I'm supposed to be cleaning up my sleep cycle to help with my MCAS*, among other things, so of course, my brain has chosen to wake me up at 3:30 am to hyperfixate on the fictional characters that live rent-free in my brain.
The annoying thing is I know if I try to write any of this down in any official capacity, my train of thought will disappear in a cloud of dust quicker than a vampire in a toothpick factory.
---
*I read a journal recently about how mast cell function is regulated by the circadian rhythm. So my delayed sleep cycle ADHD ass was always fucked, but I am Trying to get more sleep at night in the hope it will help or at least maybe let me sleep through the histamine dumping cycle so I stop frying my brain in cortisol every night.
