Socially she's actually a little more anxious than Avelus because she's always questioning if she's doing the "right" or socially acceptable thing, but she's definitely not afraid to speak up for herself or her partner.

In this situation, though?

Avelus would have no problem puffing his chest out and being a big boy so that Vicidia didn't need to worry about speaking for him (so he doesn't feel embarrassed that she had to that) (also so he can impress her) (why would that impress her. he'll try anyway)
