sometimes think to myself, how Possible keep going when everything feels insurmountable pain. And sad funny frustrating answer to tell and help other people, is that sometimes you Just Do. You just lie on the floor for two hours. But that has already clawed you two more hours. You make just the worst combination of food stuffs, but you made food. You water your plants and your pets and maybe you save a little water for yourself. You drive to the doctors and only to the doctors. You do this the whole time telling yourself you can’t. You just, can’t. Or you don’t want to. And you do it anyway. You take a shower and you cry. And you do it anyway. You break down in the supermarket because your budget is already stretched so thin. And you think, how can I possibly do this again? And you make dinner. And you do it again. And you tell yourself, tomorrow I’m really going to do it, and tomorrow comes around and you sit in the afternoon sunshine instead. And you write that letter to your friend. And you don’t throw it away but maybe you put it in the very back of your drawer. And you find a new kitten livestream on youtube. And you tell yourself, definitely before winter. And then winter is here and you keep your hands warm in gloves your friend gave you. And you keep going. And I love you. And yes it hurts. And you feel like you’re dragging your own corpse through life. And you say absolutely no more than this. And then you keep yourself safe again by lying on the floor and then there is more because you made more. And I am proud of you. And you are not the exception. And you can do this too.
