Carter watched, "Okay, sounds good. I'll be there." She smiled, and took her gaze back to the teacher, glancing back at Trevor a few times.

After class, Carter found her way to the library in a few minutes. She looked around, seeing a few students quietly studying or reading. The librarian was distracted by a book. Carter examined the room for Trevor but he was nowhere in sight. She took a seat at a small table and got her notebook out. She began doodling random sayings as time passed.

He waited for her to get the map and then he took it from her, pointing to the library; “There.”

Carter sighed, feeling indifferently. "You are, aren't you." She said in a way that wasn't a question, more like a statement.

Carter laughed, "You're funny." She then nodded, "Right. That'll work.. but I don't know where the library is." She sighed, trying to fish the map of the campus out of her bag that she was given.

Carter let out a small laugh at the boy's tone. "Eh, shoulda known it wouldn't be anything interesting." She said. "Well, I guess we have to get together later to work on this.." She trailed off, feeling kind of awkward.

Trevor laughed and shrugged. “I don’t know, fishes or mermaids or some stuff.” He realized he was talking a little too loud so he began whispering again; “It’s about some fishes, I guess.”

As soon as the teacher walked in, her gaze left the boy and she quickly looked to the teacher. She couldn't recall getting any information about the assignment and was about to ask when she heard Trevor. "Uh, sure." She gave a small smile. "What's the project on?"

Trevor nodded his head and looked at her; “Course.” Just when he finished his word, the teacher came in. ‘Kids, welcome back, I sent you all the information about the next assignment, pick a partner.’ Trevor tilted his head at Carter. “Wanna be partners?”
