So I just went to a physical for volleyball and the physician was like, the coolest and most understanding person I’ve talked to and it was very refreshing. I’m like 99% sure he was gay, and we talked about how hard it is to be in the lgbtq+ community in a small town, he talked about safe sex and consent, and about how mental health is a very serious issue and you shouldn’t be ashamed to go to a therapist if you need it. He was like, older millennial so I think that’s why he was so open about sexuality and mental health. Can we just have all doctors be millennials because I’ve literally had a baby boomer doctor tell me that mental issues aren’t serious.
