Send ‘GAME OVER’ to get a glimpse of one of the worse possible endings that can happen to my muse in their life.
It can vary to death, tragic occurences, loss of loved ones, becoming evil, betrayal, etc. It can be a short description or a short drabble.
For multimuses: Specify which muse(s).

Today the clinic had been far busier - for a moment, it brought Mia memories back from when it was winter in Imil. There were harsh times, but managed to pull off enough to take care of the ill-ridden villagers. Some check-ups, a few cases of flu, another more complicated cases were what had came to the place.
Tumblr media
“Please take a rest,” she told a blonde woman who was coughing without a pause. “Don’t push yourself too much.” With that, the lady waved a farewell to her and went back home.
The man that approached her not too long after looked rather badly; his voice was small, and the way his face slightly twitched made it evident that the man was sick. It took her a while to get used to how Summerfield worked like, admitedly, but she wasn’t just letting the man go away in such state.
She turned her head to the counter. “Come with me, sir, it’s your first time here, right?”
The woman was kind, which was an added bonus in his situation. Walking with the woman towards the counter, Caleb tried to make his vision from going blurry, but every couple of steps his vision would become unfocused.
Coughing lightly, “Y-yah. Back where I am from, we have people called clerics who can heal most ailments and wounds. I have not seen a cleric in Wonderland, and I have heard my students talk of this place.”
Tumblr media
Sitting down next to the counter, Caleb could feel his body pulse from whatever this hellish illness found itself in his body. If he was back with the Nein, either Jester or Caduceus would have cured him already. But, he shouldn’t get agitated at Wonderland due to their different methods of treatment.
Wiping the sweat from his face, “What Gods-forsakin illness do I have? I feel like death just sitting here.”

SOFT ANGST STARTERS.
‘stay for me.’
‘what’s this between us?’
‘i don’t want your apology.’
‘you know i have feelings for you.’
‘yeah, i remember the drill.’
‘you’ve never hurt me. ever.’
‘then leave her/him/them. at home.’
‘i don’t believe it.’
‘this is breaking my heart.’
‘you met me at a very strange time in my life.’
‘what keeps you up at night?’
‘i wish you were here.’
‘i let you down.’
‘something strange happened here.’
‘you’re not safe here.’
‘i wasn’t ready to say goodbye.’
‘we are not the same, and never will be.’
‘don’t touch me.’
‘is it my fault?’
‘i’m not like them.’
‘i forgot my name again.’
‘i don’t know who i am.’
‘your fear of looking stupid is holding you back.’
‘are you still alive?’
‘i don’t like being told what to do.’
‘am i making you uncomfortable?’
‘nobody cares if you don’t go to the party.’
‘it was supposed to be fun, and you ruined it.’
‘where the hell are my friends?’
‘stop pretending life doesn’t terrify you.’

Strange Medicine || Caleb & Mia
Starter for @wishpsynergy
Sickness was something that Caleb didn’t really care for; granted, no one cared for it. Being sick was something akin to death: not being able to taste food, his vision going blurry at points, and his head feeling like it was going to explode like one of Nott’s arrows. All of these symptoms were hellish and he was close to just launching a Fire Bolt at his face to try and clear anything.
After coughing so hard that the pounding in his head made his vision pulse, “...maybe I should visit that clinic that the student talk about...”
Tumblr media
Moving slowly, Caleb put on layers to keep his body warm from the his body’s own chill, another symptom of his sickness he believes, and left his apartment. Thankfully, the clinic wasn’t too far away and Wonderland’s train system was expedient. After about a half hour train ride and walk, Caleb arrived at the Summerfield Clinic.
Entering the building, Caleb walked towards the nearest person, a woman with green hair, “I am sorry, but where I am from, we do not have these clinics...how exactly do I seek treatment?”
His voice sounded weak and Caleb’s face twitched slightly. Being weak was something that Caleb constantly dealt with, both within the Nein and when he was a Scourger in-training, and that he hated.

mutewondergal‌:
Minako blinked rapidly as the older man explained the limitations of teaching a cantrip and snorted, before her shoulders shook with both relief and quiet puffs of laughter. It was so…refreshing! To have a mentor make a simple, rookie mistake. Suddenly the terrifying idea of failing and wasting Mr. Caleb’s time was thrown off of her shoulders.
Hey, don’t worry about it, sensei! Mistakes happen!
As the librarian began to demonstrate his second option–one that didn’t require words? Hell yeah.–Minako jumped as she watched a rock sent ten feet away with nothing but a gesture.
Catapault, huh? Alright, Minako. You got this. Use the arcane who-what-sits. Minako practically skipped over to the same boulder. She rolled both shoulders and shook out her wrists, crimson eyes blazing with her determined focus. She was in control, here. That boulder wasn’t a boulder, it was a feather–no! It was lighter! It was weightless and it was gonna float and fly and land wherever she wanted it too.
It’s like volleyball! Minako took in a deep breath and blew it out. Just throw–
She mimicked tossing a ball up with her left hand, the right pulled back over her shoulder.
–and serve!
Tumblr media
She swung as if she intended to launch a volleyball over the net. She felt a slight resistance against the heel of her hand, a tingling sensation racing all along her right arm and popping in her veins like Minako had poured a bag of fizzle rocks into her blood.
Catapault cast, it shot out ninety feet in a straight line, sailing over the clearing before falling to the ground with a distant thump.
Minako stared, slack jawed, as her right arm still tingled like it had fallen asleep. She felt a little bit of a drain, too, like she’d just casted an Agi–or even an Agilao–spell. She turned slowly to Mr. Caleb, mouth still wide open.
Numb with shock, she simply pointed in the direction of her launched stone, expression asking, Did I do that?
Caleb’s nerves were starting to get at him while Minako started to cast the spell. He knew she should have an easier time due to the lack of verbal component but that didn’t stop his nerves from making sure to have his more protective spells ready to cast.
Seeing the boulder rise, Caleb’s mouth opened slightly and he heard himself gasp, his heart started to beat faster.
“Y-You’re doing it. You’re really doing it.”
Tumblr media
Walking forward, Caleb was ready to congratulate Minako on her casting when she finally let the boulder go. Seeing the boulder sail farther than he threw his own, Caleb stopped in his tracks and...just stared at Minako. A swirl of emotions started to form in Caleb, but none of them negative.
Apparently Minako was also surprised by these developments asked if she was the one that did that just now.
Looking at her, “...That. Was. Verwunderlich!”
A large smile was on his face and the feeling of pride was winning in the swirl of emotions.

Kliff was trying his best to act confident. He tilted his chin up and gave a calm, composed answer.
“That’s alright… And yes, I’m perfectly fine. My pumpkin, not so much.” He said, looking down to the mess upon the road. He grabbed his wrist, gently moving it to try and gauge the pain of it, though he assumed it would be heal up. Kliff took a moment to study the man in front of him. He noticed his messy hair and slight shadow of a beard.
“That’s a nice cloak you have. Do you travel, by chance?” The mage asked, crossing his arms. He didn’t want to seem confrontational. If anything, he was curious about the man in front of him. Kliff wondered if he too could sense the magic abilities they both possessed.
Caleb felt his minor guilt go away when the boy mentioned that he was okay, but it wasn’t totally gone as was common for the wizard. Caleb noticed how this boy started to look him over, and his anxiety spiked. What was he looking for? Was it a fight? Was the person actually angry about what happened?
Caleb’s fingers started to trace the incantation for Fire Bolt when the person asked their question, “Nice? That is a stretch. But yes, I do travel...well, I did travel. Ever since I got ripped out of my home plane, I have been stuck here trying to find a way back.”
Tumblr media
The brief agitation that Caleb felt was short lived when he he got a brief sense of the arcane coming from the boy.
“Do you by chance proficient with the arcane?”

mutewondergal‌:
Seemed that there really was no way to get around the verbal issue, then. Minako frowned slightly at the information, closing her notebook and setting it to the ground.
How to get around that? Would whistling work? She used it almost as much as her hands or her phone, at least to get someone’s attention. And she used her mouth to whistle, so, hey, in theory…
Oh, but what do I know? she thought, huffing slightly. Nerves threatened to twist her stomach into knots, but Minako grinned and bore through it with practice and willpower. Nothing to be done if she couldn’t do it; and if Mr. Caleb wanted to make her his only student and dedicate his time to finding a way to work around it, all the more reason to give it her all!
Fire Bolt–that was the little ball, right? Minako rolled up her sleeves and rubbed her hands together as fast as she could until the palms were warm from friction alone, as if it would help a spark generate.
Verbal–she blew a sharp note of air between her teeth and flicked her wrist, as if twirling an invisible polearm–and somatic, equals magic! Fire Bolt!
…
……
……..Nothing happened.
Minako felt a flush blooming under her scarf and bounced from foot to foot, rubbing her hands once again. Another whistle, and gesture–she thought with all her might about arcane energies, and the way she felt whenever she casted Agi with Orpheus, and–!
Still. Nothing happened. She stomped her foot against the grass and cracked each finger independently.
I, Minako began, biting at her lip as she stalled her signing briefly. I um, I don’t. Think I can do it. I’m sorry.
Caleb could feel Minako’s disappointment in his chest, and he couldn’t blame her. Thinking over the way she did the somatic aspects of the spell were wonderful, and she did attempt a form of a verbal component that was within her power.
Honestly, he was proud of her.
Walking over to her and putting a gentle hand on her shoulder, “First, you did an excellent job on the somatic component; there was a lot of energy there. And the verbal component that you substituted was brilliant. I am very proud of your first attempt. This verbal component issue is something that we can hopefully find a counter for, but it was a good idea to whistle...maybe that is something that we can look further into...”
As Caleb’s mind drifted....a thought came to him: cantrips are innate spells within the caster....they can’t be taught.
Caleb slapped his forehead with his hand, “ Scheisse! I should have remembered that,” turning towards Minako, “I am terribly sorry, but I have made a mistake: cantrips are spells that are innately known by each caster. Since these spells are so ingrained within their mind, one cannot be taught cantrips that they do not already know.”
Slight shame found itself on Caleb’s face in the form of his reddening face.
Tumblr media
Returning to his spellbook, Caleb flipped through the pages, trying to find any spell that a low level that he can teach her that didn’t have a verbal component...and after a couple seconds of looking, he found one: Catapult.
Slamming his book down and turning towards Minako, a smile on his face, “While this spell is of the 1st-level, it does not require any verbal component, just the somatic!”
Caleb grabs Minako’s attention and performs the Catapult spell on a boulder a couple feet away and tosses it about 10 feet away.
“Just imagine the target that you want to move being weightless and that you have total control over it’s trajectory. It is a lower level spell, so we can safely assume that if you can do any magic that you can perform this spell.”

Giving a low, lilting whistle to show that she was paying attention, Minako turned a page in her notebook and began to take furious notes. It was nostalgic, in a way; she felt like she was in Tartarus for the first time, listening to Mitsuru’s calm instructions on how to command her Persona to use physical and special techniques.
She underlined verbal twice with a small frown, looking up to see Mr. Caleb casting–to her eyes–a fully sustained Agi spell without any need for a Persona. Garnet colored eyes went wide and she mouthed wwwwwow, openly. Real, actual magic, Minako thought to herself in wonder.
She wrote down the name–Fire Bolt?? and cantrip in parenthesis before putting her pen between her teeth, signing with her freed hand.
Sensei, do you think I’d even be able to do, Minako checked notes briefly, verbals spells? Maybe in conjunction with somatic gestures? And how exactly does the magic…happen? Do I have to think about fire really hard? Do you get tired easily?!
A silent ‘eep’ left her as she realized just how fast and sloppily she’d flown through each question. Flushing slightly, Minako added, Uh, sorry, I mean. I didn’t mean to interrupt your lecture, sensei. She took her pen back into her hand and fixed the man with her most determined look.
Caleb’s chest swelled a little with pride at Minako’s face. Magic was indeed was wonderful thing, but it was also a curse for Caleb, but that was for something for him to meditate on in privacy and not while he was teaching a teenager about said magic.
Watching her so more of these ‘”signs” as she called them, Caleb couldn’t help the cold hand of dread that gripped his heart. He has never thought of trying to wean out the verbal aspect of the spells he used...and he was not too sure that it was possible.
Scratching his chin, Caleb mused, “Well, the verbal component is in almost every spell in creation. The function of the verbal component is to help bring meaning to the somantic motions that the caster is using. Think of these two aspects of a spell as the mediums in which the caster uses to manipulate the arcane energy to cast their spells.”
Tumblr media
Smiling at Minako, “There is no need to apologize Minako, your questions are very much welcomed. It would not be much of a lesson if I did not let my students ask them.”
“And about your concerns about the verbal aspects of spells...it is probably a good thing that you are possibly my only student. This will give us enough time to think about what methods we could use to circumvent this issue. And speaking of that, Minako, I would like for you to try and cast Firebolt for me. It is not a difficult spell, so there should not be any worry of harm coming to you if the spell fails.”

lone-marksmen‌:
Hanzo took note of the mans creature suddenly moving in his direction and sent the dragon spirits to see where it was going. He couldn’t waste time personally dealing with both that and the male in front of him.
The man had suddenly started singing and Hanzo raised an eyebrow. He was unsure what he was doing, he knew that the man sensed possible danger, so was his singing some sort of distraction? A strange attack? Or was he just giving up? There were so many possibilities and Hanzo was started to wish he had some sort of back up, he had fate in himself to be able to handle this situation but Wonderland added so many unknowns to his life and it made everything more complicated.
Tumblr media
His spirits had come back to inform him that the creature the man had sent in was definitely looking for his location which at least confirmed that the man was up to something, but what was still uncertain. He just had to keep himself hidden and figure out if the man was friend or foe.
Caleb’s mind was starting to shortcircuit from the situation. Fighting intelligent and stealthy opponents was not something he has had to deal with on his own; the Nein were always with him. This person was smart enough to not just move around willy-nilly. And now he was making a fool of himself by singing a child’s song.
After not hearing Frumpkin for a certain amount of time, Caleb snapped his fingers and had his feline companion appear behind him to keep his back covered.
Finishing the embarrassing song, Caleb took out a piece of wire and pointed towards the direction of where the arrows came from, “I am not looking for a fight. I am just reading my book.”
Tumblr media
Relaxing himself a little, Caleb scanned his eyes to detect any movement or to see if this person would show themselves.

A whole Lot of Guts | Kliff & Caleb Widogast @caster-disaster
After a long day under the summer sun at the farmers market, Kliff was tired, hungry, and ready to relax. He was dehydrated from the day, but chose to stick around in search of a nice pumpkin to carve. It took a bit, but soon he found a good sized pumpkin and decided to take it home.
The particular pumpkin he chose was much too large for his small frame. He had his arms both hooked under it, carrying it as best he could. It would not be an easy trek back to his apartment, but he would do his best. It was difficult for the mage not to bump into anyone as he had to peak over the squash. He treaded carefully through the small crowd before he tripped over someone’s boot.
“W-woah!” Kliff exclaimed before he unfortunately dropped his pumpkin. It hit the ground with a thwump and splattered before him.
“That’s a whole lot of guts.” Kliff sighed, now kneeling in front of the carnage. He looked up to the mess of reddish-brown hair whom he may have tripped over.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to get pumpkin all over your cloak.” The mage said, standing up and wiping himself off a bit.
Tumblr media
It was Caleb’s weekly trip to the Farmer’s Market for both food and for various components that he required for his spells. Thankfully, there weren’t many people here and thus an abundance of product for him to choose from.
After getting about three quarters of his list finished, Caleb’s mind was too focused on his shopping to notice the large, orange gourd moving his way...or of the foot that knocked his.
Hearing the smashing of said gourd, Caleb’s mind finally caught up to the situation, “Oh scheisse! I am deeply sorry about that.”
Tumblr media
Caleb helped the young man back on his feet and made sure that he wasn’t too hurt. There was nothing too major that the boy sustained, so Caleb’s guilt wasn’t too extreme.
Hearing the boy’s apology, Caleb just waved him off, “No need to apologize, it gives it more color, but are you okay? That was not a pretty fall.”

Minako was more than familiar with the slightly blank expression from someone who had no idea what she was saying–so much so that she’d already been halfway from pulling out a fresh, spiral bound notebook and pen when suddenly Mr. Widowgast seemed to understand. Minako repeated herself, at his request, beaming openly.
She opened up the notebook and clicked her pen, scribbling down the words in a scrawl brimming with excitement; Hi!!!! I’m Minako, it’s nice to meet you Mr. W Mr. Caleb. Sorry for formalities, folks raised me with good manners when I’m talking with teachers.
She tapped the end of her pen against her chin for a moment, then clarified. Sorry for the silence. I’m mute, so it’s probably easier to write than just sign the whole time. Or not! You understand it pretty well.
Minako signed her response as well, much slower this time.
So! Sensei! How and where are we gonna start!?
Caleb couldn’t help the small smile from forming on his face when Minako decided to write her message.
Waving his hand slightly, “I understand Miss Minako, I myself was drilled in formalities when I was young.”
Tumblr media
Seeing her go back to signing, the spell he cast reacted again, translating her visual language somehow into Common.
Smiling, “It is not that I know this sign you speak of, but it is through the use of a spell called Comprehend Languages. Usually it is only for verbal languages, but it seems as though this place has modified it’s abilities.”
Seeing the second wave of signs Caleb realized that she would probably be the only student he would have, and that wasn’t a terrible thing, “Well, I would like to start with the basic spells first, they are called Cantrips. I personally do not know how exactly cantrips will translate, but I do have another plan for today.”
Moving towards the stump he was sitting at, Caleb gathered some basic components and his spellbook and motioned for Minako to follow him, “There are three aspects to spells: verbal, somatic, and material. The verbal and material are self explanatory, but the somatic is different. The somatic is the movement of your hands. The specific motion changes from caster to caster, so you can create your own if you wish.”
To demonstrate, Caleb moved his hands in a circular motion and has a small flame appear, “The spell I just cast is called Fire Bolt, and it is one of my go to spells.”

mutewondergal‌:
Classes done for the day, Minako hiked her backpack higher on her shoulder and blew her bangs out of her eyes, thumbing the button on her MP3 player to the next song. This old thing and her Evoker–holstered at her hip and hidden under her sweater, of course–were the only things Minako had come to Wonderland with. She hadn’t even been able to keep a naginata for herself; something to rectify later on, maybe.
But not the issue for the day. No, Minako’s mission was more simple.
She was gonna learn how to do magic. Not any sleight of hand, streetwise stuff, no; actual, real magic. If she couldn’t count on Orpheus or Thanatos’s spells consistently anymore, she had to find a different way to defend herself.
…And okay, maybe the idea of being able to do actual-freakin’-magic was too good to pass up! Ever since hearing the rumors around campus, and the instructions left behind from the Librarian, Minako had set off with purpose. It’d taken her a few hours to actually figure out where she was meant to go, first off, and longer still to track him down–
But that had to be him on that boulder! A scruffy looking guy with a book.
She let out a sharp whistle to announced herself, signing quickly when she’d grabbed his attention; Are you the guy from the library? Mr. Widogast? You’re the magic guy, right?
The sudden whistle shook Caleb out of his inner thoughts and looked at the source of the sound. A young girl had entered the grasslands, and it seemed like she was interested in his lessons. To be honest, he was not too sure he was going to have any students.
Before he was able to ask her if she was here for the lesson, she started to move her hands in a seemingly systematic fashion. What was she doing? Did she already have a grasp of the sematic components of spellcasting? If so, then she’s already gotten a leg up on the lessons he had planned.
When looking at the motions however, they didn’t seem like any spell motions he’s seen or used himself...was this a language? Quickly casting Comprehend Languages, Caleb’s mind started to register the motion’s meanings.
Quickly asking her to do the motions again, Caleb understood what she meant, “Oh. Ya. I am Mr. Widogast...but please just call me Caleb. And while I have not been called a ‘magic guy’ before, yes, I am the one that is offering the lessons in the arcane.”
Tumblr media
Putting his spellbook away, Caleb walked towards the girl. “And may I ask what your name is?”

She’d ended up at a third row of shelves within her search and so far no luck. Could this really be a world without the concept of Disney? Maybe it was a new world from them that hadn’t been released in the form of a movie or book yet. But then again that’d be odd… Sure her tiara hadn’t been working properly since she got here, if it had she’d have been back at the castle by now, but surely it couldn’t have brought her to a world unrelated to Disney or one that was unheard of to the public… and even an unrelated world should have it’s own version of them right..?
Tumblr media
She stopped as she was grabbing another book off the shelf to skim through, “Eheh.. nope! I’m not, I hope that’s not a problem though, i didn’t see anything outside mentioning non-students couldn’t come & look. As for help- i’d love some! I’m kinda seeing if something from the world i’m from exists here, I used to have this book at home that was a huuuge story book for Disn.. er fairy tales of sorts.”
Caleb was not surprised that the young one wasn’t a student, but also that she was not from Wonderland. It was starting to become more and more common that one would encounter someone not from Wonderland versus someone who was born and raised here.
A small smile crept on his face, “I am not surprised by either of those things young miss.”
Tumblr media
Her request however, was one that he should have expected, but was not entirely prepared for. Fairy Tales? He was positive that the library didn’t have anything of that sort. But there wasn’t in any harm in searching.
Nodding towards the girl, “Well, we can certainly try and look for your book then. I will be honest, there’s little chance that the library will have it. Might I ask what your name is? Calling you ‘young miss’ is a bit of a mouthful.”
Walking out of the aisle, Caleb methodically went to the section that was for the education students. There were some children’s books in there for their student teaching, so maybe it could be there?
“This section that we are walking to is for our students who wish to become teachers. We have a small selection of children’s books there, but I am not certain that your tome will be there I am afraid.”

The uniformed girl looked through the books in the library, while she didnt attend the college from what she could tell the library was open to the public. If not well, she always had the excuse she was relatively ‘new’ here. She was looking for a particular book though. One she knew by heart but still liked having on hand to re-read again and again. Of course though she didn’t even know if it’d exist here or where to even look exactly.
While Caleb did not work today, he still found himself in the library; one of the perks of being hired to work at said library is a free membership. Sitting in the history section, he had about 10 books surrounding him at the moment. This was his third week of reading into the histories of Wonderland, and he was getting closer to the finer details of its history.
Hearing the door open, Caleb’s attention was broken from his current text to see a younger girl entering the library. She certainly wasn’t a student at Rosewood, and he could tell that the current worker would be of no help to her as they were pleading him with their eyes as they were busy checking back in a mountain of books.
Sighing quietly, Caleb moved from his seat, “Hallo. My name is Caleb/ Do you need help finding something? I am assuming correctly that you are not a student at Rosewood?”
