I have now officially held the smallest crab I’ve ever seen.

Someone on FB was posting all in a tither about Coywolves being in their area. All the responses were Panic at the Disco. This is how “nothing” gets turned into “something”.

Coywolves are Coydogs with some wolf thrown into the mix. A Coydog is a Coyote/dog hybrid. A Coywolf just has a little wolf added to the genetic soup.

Anyhoo, they ain’t nothing new, and the Northcentral and Northeastern US is not being overrun with them. They have been around for very long time. As the cops like to say “Nothing to see here, move it along. You’ve probably seen one and not even know it. They just look like a bigger that usual coyote.

And anybody who lives in any area with coyotes knows if you leave your kitty, or little dog out in coyote country there is a good chance it will become dinner.
