These panels are actually insane. Nevermind the color, just the fucking horror of seeing this gargantuan humanoid thing that isn’t really human step onto the moon from the dark reaches of space, wherever it came from, and then stand to be taller than anything you’ve ever seen. The dust he’s kicking up kills all hope of it being a dream (and is also just super dynamic and adds so much depth to the art). To top it all off, it’s completely silent. There’s no sound in space, and therefore no obnoxious onomatopoeia text taking up half the panel either. If Murata wanted to, he could definitely make a killer cosmic horror.
