Today on Pretending To Know How To Do Digital Art: Last night/morning at around one thirty-two a m I realized that nobody else was going to draw a bunch of Icing those hurts Tommy and I needed to suck it up and do it myself. Thus this was born.

Okay, okay. So I'm still unsure as to what exactly is taking place here and when. (uh oh spoilers for the from ice to water series coming right up)

Hc that Tommy struggled real real bad to get either a quad or a triple Lutz for a little bit and it was very not a fun time for him? Sounds good.

This is why he was crying in that dance studio in the first place? Maybe he consistently has a like not quite wrong edge but not ideal edge in some Lutz in one of his routines somewhere and he keeps getting crap for it and it just gets a bit too much for him at this point? Yup. Y-yup.

He literally did a near Flip instead of Lutz ONE TIME in front of his coach and the man just wont let it go for ages and ages afterwards and whips it out when tommy's already at his lowest and frustrated???? Tommy is quietly proud of his quad Lutz and the insecurity he feels when his coach implies his gosh dang core technique of the thing is completely wrong throws him way off balance?? Yes???

See there are so many options. i don't know, man. I shall put out more content for this AU in the future though because I see nearly none these days (however if you do post content for this, we love you) and i feel a sense of duty (doodie).

i have a lot of feelings about tommyinnit's clinic for supervillains (by @bonesandthebees ) but this is definitely one of my favorite scenes by far. highly recommend this fic if you want to see benchtrio tension! it's handled really well :)
