All my time on tumblr has led me to conclude that the most vitriolic violent spiteful hateful transphobia you’ll ever experience doesn’t come from cis people. it comes from your own. some of the most violent transphobia I’ve experienced on this platform has been from people justifying it because they have a trans flag on their profile picture or some shit. Legit the trans community on this platform and all the discourse that comes from it made me genuinely prefer casually-transphobic cis people over your average trans tumblr user because at least one of them is somehow infinitely more tolerable and is capable of rational thought to some extent and actually learns shit if they try (hint: it’s not the tumblr user that’s for sure).
