I’m pretty sure he will like that you go out of your comfort zone.” “Yeah…” gulped Hongjoong, already imagining Eden with a disappointed expression on his face. “You are a genius. You shouldn’t be scared to show your talent.” It’s been 20 minutes since you were trying to convince your boyfriend to show his new production to his superior team. You admitted that he never used this type of instrumental before. It was new and few of them could be surprised. “Or maybe try to talk about it with the members?” You suggested. “They are more able to help you than me.” “I’m already late for the practice so I will ask them later.” He rubbed his neck. Once he closed the studio’s door, you both rushed to the 6th floor. Right in the hallway, you could hear the loud music playing. Hongjoong practically rushed there, but you stopped him. “Wait, honey!” “Hm?” He stopped, fixing his beanie. You took his face between your soft hands, and gave him a big peck on the cheek. You know that this kind of affection makes him feel better and less anxious. He smiled at you in response, almost chuckling like a kid and opened the door. Lucky for him, the other members were only stretching and fooling each other. “Oh, hello Y/N!” Greeted San. Hongjoong stared at him as if he betrayed him. “And me?” He pointed at his chest. “We saw each other this morning Hyung.” “What a baby.” You pinched his arm. “Why are you two looking so happy?” Smirked Yeosang, already imagining that there’s something between you.

You were waiting impatiently backstage, foot tapping against the floor quickly. You gazed around at all the people of the crew as they ran around making sure everything was good for the show. Sound check was always a frenzy and you felt somewhat guilty for your current desires as you stood like a log rooted to the floor. You were quite literally in the way, often having to step aside as one of the techies flew past you to get where they needed to go, and you looked around for places you could stand and not be an obstacle. The crew always kept silent, but you could tell on their faces that your presence annoyed them every time you came backstage. Of course, they never complained because if they did, they’d have to answer to your boyfriend —

“Baby!” Your whole countenance changed immediately at the sight of your boyfriend walking backstage. You flung yourself into his arms the moment you were close enough.

“Ah, I’m so glad you’re here,” Hongjoong said as he held you tightly. He shot a glare to one of his fellow band mates who made a face at the two of you as they walked past. You didn’t notice.
