Working with Inquisitor Lavellan was an eye-opening experience. The level of dedication she puts into her work is astounding. Seeing how respectful she was to the Avaar and their customs while uncovering the history of the first Inquisitor, reminded me why I stuck to my research despite all of the backlash. She stood strong, firm in her beliefs and she did not hide any of the ugly truths we uncovered. I would happily follow her again into an unknown expedition should she call on me. - Bram Kenric

Alistair

Bri thinks Alistar has zero fashion style. She doesn't trust him to pick good fabrics, especially for special occasions. While she's not particularly fashion forward either after 20 years in the circle and 10 more in warden robes. She's at least better than him

Fenris

To not drink all the wine.

Anders

She trusts Anders... she doesn't trust Justice putting ideas in his head. So she checks in a lot to ensure he's not going to blow up another chantry and start another war...

Cullen

Okay, so not a bad one as Cullen and Efa are very open with each other. But Cullen's idea of a bedtime story for the children is reading reports or war and strategy books to them. Efa finds it adorable but inappropriate.

Lucanis

They start with major trust issues. That is the core of the initial relationship. She doesn't trust him with her identity or fighting with him. It's something they learn over time by the end. She gladly put her entire life in his hands.

12. What are their love languages and how are they incorporated into the relationship? I always love learning this specifically with any ship so I’m curious :)

For Bri and Alistair it's gift giving. Neither of them had really received them before they met. Giving him his mothers amulet lead to their first kiss, the rose lead to their first time. Small gifts, big feelings.

Hawke and Fenris are positive reaffirmation. Since they split up twice she needs that from him and he also needs to know she still cares.

Hawke with Anders it's acts of service. She helps him out at the clinic, and he helps her out in the manor. Little things that make them both smile when they think the other isn't watching.

Cullen and Efa are physical touch. After years apart and the near deaths [and temporary death oopsie] they both live off holding hands, pressed thighs, shoulder leans and forehead touches.

Isolde and Lucanis have quality time. They enjoy the physical intimacies when they get there but they also enjoy chess and sparring and cooking together. Lucanis is happy just to be with her and she's patient with Spite who learns from her.

I am amazed they are all unintentionally different :)

Ok from the shipping questionnaire! "Would they be able to functionally cook a meal together? What would they make? How would it turn out?"

Efa would usually have Cullen banished from the kitchen so fast. He hovers, he's always in the way and he has no idea how to properly season food. Only after she lost her hand and before she got her working prosthetic did they ever cook together. She teaches him how to bake and finds him good at kneading dough. He's eventually able to make the fluffiest honeycakes while she cooks other breakfast food like bacon and sausages. Since hesnup at the crack of dawn, a good breakfast is something they go together for.

Auntie Efa is amazing! She wer so brave when she rescued me from the bad men. I got to ride on her Hart, he's so big. Daddy said not to go too fast but she did anyway. She always listens to my stories and plays with me and gives the best hugs. I love her stories and she likes to sneak me extra strawberries ev'n though they are her favourite!

I was on the verge of a panic attack yesterday so I decided to draw our favourite commander to calm me down. It's probably why I love Dragon Age sm, it's so nice escaping to a world where you are the "chosen one" and no one can hurt you, and people love you for who you are, flaws and all...and if you make a mistake you can just hit "reload". If only life was that simple...
