I started to do the reading on why the reporters are so upset about the Wales family moving to Forest Lodge, and the energy was so grudging and petty that I couldn't go on with it. As I was shuffling for this reading, a card flew out, so I am taking that as the reading.

Card: Five of Cups in Reverse

The Five of Cups in reverse is a card of moving on after some great sorrow or loss. You have accepted the situation and are ready to move forward and focus on the positive things in the situation.

This is the same card as in the reading for Prince William, but here the energy is completely different. There is an energy of joy around this card, of freshness and hope for the future. The energy is sparkling and golden and alive. This is the moving on aspect of the Five of Cups, and it is definitely the energy of a fresh start. Sorrow is in the past and a brighter future lies ahead. Princess Catherine is pleased and excited about the move, I would say, and she is definitely focusing on the positives of the move. She is ready to step forward and put the recent years behind her. She knows that there will be good days and bad days still - the pain of the Five of Cups can not be avoided - but she has accepted that and she is ready for joy in their new home.

Aces are new beginnings, so to have that comes up twice emphasises that this is a new beginning for Princess Catherine. The Ace of Wands tells me that it is a new creative beginning for new, a new adventure, and the move is giving her new passion, enthusiasm, and energy in all areas of her life. The Ace of Pentacles tells me that this move will give Princess Catherine more security and more stability, and as a result she will have new prosperity and new abundance in her life. The energy here is positive, fresh, steady, and creative. Princess Catherine will thrive in her new home.

If you look at both cards they both have nature scenes down the bottom - green hills with a rive and a beautiful garden. We know that Princess Catherine loves to be out in nature and that she finds it very healing and nurturing. She should find that healing and nurturing in abundance in her new home.

Conclusion: Princess Catherine is excited and joyful about the move to Forest Lodge. She sees it as a physical way of putting the past few years behind her and making a completely fresh start. The move will give her a new beginning that is based in stability and security and that gives her new enthusiasm and passion for her life and her projects. Question: How does Prince William feel about moving to Forest Lodge?

This is a one card reading

As I was shuffling for this reading three cards flew out of the deck, so I am going to take those cards as the answer to the reading.

Card 1: Death

This is a major arcana card, so straight away that tells me that this move is important.

Death is the card for Scorpio, and Scorpio is the sun sign of King Charles, so this move has something to do with King Charles and his health - his battle with cancer.

Death is a card of change and transition, of moving from one state to another, of letting go of one state of being and moving to another state of being.

The energy of this card is of a necessary change that was also an expected change. There is a sense of inevitability about it.

In terms of how Prince William feels, the energy is of a change that was expected and accepted. It feels like he knew this change was coming, he accepted the change, and now he is moving as part of that chance. It's a very calm and stable energy. Whatever this move has to do with the health of The King, Prince William knew about the need to move in advance and he has accepted the condition of The King that is related to this move. I don't know if that makes sense but it is as clear as I can put it - inevitability and acceptance.

Card 2: The Five of Cups in Reverse

The Five of Cups is a card of mourning, grief, and loss. In the reverse, it is a card of moving on - you have accepted a situation and come to some sort of peace with it, so now you are doing what has to be done and focusing on seeing the positive side of things.

The acceptance and moving on energy is coming through strongly here. This could be moving on after the death of Her Late Majesty and the cancer treatment of The Princess of Wales, and it could also include another sad situation that has been faced and accepted. It's the energy of making a fresh start, but a fresh start with another cloud over your head. In Prince William's case, and given the card above, I'd say that he was glad to be moving to a home with no sad memories but that he was also worried about his father's health. It's a modified fresh start - a new beginning with the knowledge of more sadness to come.

Card 3: The High Priestess

The final energy of this card is secrets. There is information being held back from us, things we are not being told. The public reasons for the move to Forest Lodge are true - I'm not getting any deceit about them - but they are only part of the story, not the whole story.

Conclusion: The move to Forest Lodge is part of moving towards the future. It is also connected to The King and his health. Prince William sees the move as inevitable, something that was going to happen in the future, and also as a move away from sad memories, but with the knowledge that more sadness will eventually come in the future. The move is part of his transformation to a new state and may involve some intense learning. He has accepted the sadness around the move and I think is deepening his faith as part of his preparation for the future and as a support for the future.

When I think of the towers I can see them, or where they used to be. Harry's tower is a collapsed pile of bricks. It has fallen in on itself and doesn't have any structure anymore. It is just a pile of bricks on the ground. Meghan's tower no longer exists. There isn't even any ground with ruins there anymore - it is just an empty space.

Do William and Kate care about being called workshy and do they plan to do something about it? Why do they feel so strongly about not working when the kids are on break from school? Is it some sort of rebellion from their part because they feel they have to sacrifice a lot for the monarchy so they’re kinda like “we’re gonna do whatever we want”? Sorry, I don’t know how you can phrase that to ask the cards lol

I’m not finished with my York reading. *sigh*. Honestly, not only was it hard to do, it was hard just to sit in front of the computer and look at it.

Back to this post, I always thought that royals were also working on days when they didn’t have public engagements. I’m not saying the criticism towards them isn’t valid, I just always assumed that was the case.

Do William and Catherine know they are being called workshy? Do they plan to do something about it?

William - Queen of Spades (advice/older woman/criticism), 5 of Spades (self-sabotage/failure/surrender), [2 of Diamonds (time management/hardships/financial difficulties].

I think he’s aware of the comments, and I get the feeling there’s someone close to him who’s been telling him this, maybe even giving him an earful about it lol, right from the start. At first he probably shrugged it off, thinking he had everything figured out, like he had the best and smartest plan. But now he’s realising how big of a mistake he’s made because of how messy his schedule has become.

It’s become a real problem because now, even when he wants to fix things, he just can't because everything in his schedule is technically a promise to other people as well. His lack of public engagements (are the numbers that bad tho?) probably doesn’t make it look like he’s working much, but I can see him picking up calls, going to loads of meetings and so on, which still makes me think he is working, just not showing it in the traditional way. I wonder if William is the type to say that the success of his projects or endeavours will prove his hard work, which might explain why the public engagements are lacking.

Admittedly, I do think it started out as his fault in a way, but now it’s spiralled to the point where he can’t control or adjust his schedule the way he needs it to be. Though, I don't think he's putting much effort into fixing it anyway. I also get the sense that he prioritises certain things over others, for example meetings over public engagements.

Catherine - King of Clubs (energetic/passion/frustration), 2 of Diamonds (time management/hardships/financial difficulties), [4 of Clubs (family/home/stability)]

I’m keeping in mind that Catherine is in remission.

With what she went through last year, I think her life became quite hectic and all over the place, and in some ways it still is. While it’s possible she has scheduling issues like William, I don’t think they’re as bad as his.

Right now, I see her having more energy and passion for the things in her life—work, family, and so on—along with a strong desire for stability and peace, especially since what she went through was stressful and hard to manage.

This sense of stability relates not only to her work but also to her family and perhaps other things she values deeply. To put it simply, I think she’s trying to implement a better work–life balance. That’s not to say she doesn’t want to take on more work or public engagements, but at times it might come across that way. I don’t think it’s rebellious; I just think Catherine really values her family and other important aspects of her life, and she wants to make sure everything she cares about is given the right amount of attention.

Edit: I can’t tell if she knows she’s been labelled as workshy.

It does seem like William is busier than Catherine but it also seems that they have different priorities. Catherine seems to want a better work–life balance, while William has a really messy schedule that he’d like to fix but I don’t think it's easy.

(Btw, I’m not saying whether this is okay or not. I don’t really have much of an opinion on the whole “workshy” issue since I don’t know enough about it, and I’m not keeping tabs on how many engagements they actually have.)

Celta, glad to see you're back! Can you do 2 one-card readings on how William (and then Catherine) feel about moving to Forrest Lodge? I remember reading in the news that 1 of the reasons W&C wanted to move to FL was for a fresh start as they had just moved into Adelaide Cottage when QE2 passed away and were still living there when Catherine underwent chemo. I think FL is a wonderful idea and it's understandable W&C would want a new start after the horrible few years they've had.

Celta-- can you do a reading on why the UK media's pissed off that neither William and Charles reportedly plan to live at Buckingham Place as the sitting monarchs once construction at BP is over in a few years? My understanding is no one liked living at BP--- not QE2 and PP, not Charles and Camilla, etc. I don't see the problem of C&C living at Clarence House and W&C living at Forest Lodge and commuting to BP for work. IMO the media needs to take a chill pill.

I have just posted an ask that gives a reason for this that I believe - the reporters are pissed off that they can no longer track the comings and goings of the royal family by lurking outside BP, and they are throwing a fit about it. I have no problems with The King at Clarence House and The Prince of Wales at Forest Lodge either, but the media is definitely trying to stir up public sentiment against this.

I will do a reading on this but I suspect it comes down to nothing more than the reporters throwing a fit because a source of their income has been cut off (i.e. stalking the royals as they come and go from BP and then working that information into articles eg X came to BP today - why?).

Celta, did you see this from Rumor Tracking Anon (https://brf-rumortrackinganon.tumblr.com/post/792699713927462912/do-you-think-the-royal-commentators-coming-after) and The Best Soap Opera Ever (https://the-best-soap-opera-ever.tumblr.com/post/792678256062152704)? It has to do with Fleet Street having a collective stroke at the idea of William moving his family to Forest Lodge.  According to RTA and Soapie, Fleet Street hates this because living at a private property (unlike Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace) cuts off the day-to-day access to William and his family coming/going from their house. If true, this makes me want to root for William and his family even more! :)

I think it is the most logical explanation for the media attack on Prince William that I have seen, and I believe it. The reporters are throwing a fit because things are not going the way they want them too, and they are using their power as reporters to bully/abuse Prince William until he gives in and does what they want (which will be never).

It just goes to show how utterly devoid of morals and decency the reporters are. Their gravy train will come to an end when Prince William is King and I am here for it.

As I was shuffling the cards for this question, I felt energy that I can only describe as 'That door is shut for now'. It was a sense of finality, of saying No, but not for all times - the decision could be reversed in the future, but for now it was No.

Card Drawn: The Three of Swords in Reverse

The Three of Swords is a card of heartbreak, despair, strong emotional pain. When it is in the reverse, you are healing from that pain, moving on with your life. It can also mean forgiveness and reconciliation, but I'm not getting that energy very strongly from this card at all - just wisps of it. The dominant energy, over 99% of the total energy from this card, is healing and moving on.

The image on the card is of Queen Clytemnestra and her lover killing King Agamemnon. I think that some of the things that Harry and his lover/wife have done and said have felt like a sword in the heart to King Charles. The King needs to heal from those wounds before he can bring a clear head to deciding what to do with Harry.

The message from this card for me is that the King is healing from the wounds inflicted upon him and the monarchy by Harry. He is moving on, focusing on his own life and his own affairs, and putting Harry and his behaviour behind him. He may publicly reconcile with Harry in the future, and forgive him, and he may take Harry back, but at this point in time the focus is on his own affairs and his own life, not on his son and his actions.

Underlying Energy: The Emperor

The Emperor is the card of fatherhood, the patriarchy, authority, practicality, and stability. It is the card of King Charles acting as the monarch, his public role, instead of in his private roles of father, husband, brother etc.

The energy of this card is of the public image and role of The King. Whatever The King decides, he will do it in his role as The King and within the restrictions of that role. His decision will be made from the viewpoint of The King and not as a father. As a father he may want to forgive Harry and reconcile with him and support him, but as The King he may have to take other actions.

Conclusion: I'm not getting a yes or no from this reading. I am getting a message that The King's focus is on healing, not providing for his son, at this point in time. Card Drawn: The Seven of Swords

This is interesting, because the Seven of Swords is traditionally the Thief card. It is about trickery, deception, scheming, deceit, being sneaky, and getting away with it.

This card is giving me Yes energy, but it is a Yes that is laced with deception. There is something sneaky or deceitful or underhanded about this. This could refer to getting the Royal Lodge for Queen Camilla, or to how she is installed in it, or even why she is installed in it. It could even be a case of The King saying he wants the Royal Lodge for Queen Camilla and then giving it to someone else. I don't know what it is, but there is definitely something underhanded going on here.

The card is about getting away with something, so whatever King Charles is up to, he will succeed with it.

The picture on the card shows Orestes sneaking into the palace to murder his mother (to avenge his father). Whatever The King is doing here, it is going to cause pain and suffering to another family member.

Underlying Energy: The Queen of Cups

The Queen of Cups is the card of Cancer, the sun sign of Queen Camilla. It is also the card of motherhood, and Princess Diana, the mother of Prince William and Harry, was also a sun sign Cancer, as is her son Prince William. So this could refer to Queen Camilla, and/or Prince William, and/or Harry in some way.

The Queen of Cups is the card of compassion, of giving comfort, of being kind and nurturing towards someone. The energy of this card is of compassion and nurturing/mothering. Whatever The King is up to with the deceit of the Seven of Swords card, it is done from a place of compassion and wanting to care for someone. That someone is most likely to be Queen Camilla, as she is a sun sign Cancer, but I am going to do another reading to check on Harry just to be sure, as he fits the criteria of a parent mothering or taking care of their child, which fits the compassion/nurturing energy I am getting from this card.

Conclusion: It looks like The King may want the Royal Lodge for Queen Camilla, but I am going to check on Harry just to be sure. Whatever The King is doing, it involves trickery or deceit of some kind, and he will get away with it.

Edit: The deceit here could even be on Queen Camilla's part, for example she agrees to The King giving her the use of the Royal Lodge and then once he is gone she has her son and daughter and grandkids move in with her, to stay as long as they live, which was not part of the original agreement. I'm not saying that this will happen, it is just a hypothetical situation to show how the deceit could come from Queen Camilla and not The King. I assumed it would be from The King as I asked the question about him, but with The Queen of Cups on the bottom Queen Camilla could be the cause of the deceit as well as being the reason for The King wanting the Royal Lodge. I need to do a deeper reading to find out what is happening here.

Question: Does King Charles really want Prince Andrew out of the Royal Lodge (as opposed to eg using the issue as a distraction from other news or for PR purposes)?

When I was shuffling the deck to answer this question, I was consumed by a sense of urgency. I was shuffling the cards faster and faster, and I felt too impatient to go through the shuffling before I drew a card for the answer (even though I did go though all the shuffling). It felt as though this was something that had to be done as fast as possible and that time was rapidly running out. If this is King Charles's energy, then he wanted his brother out of the Royal Lodge months ago, and he is feeling very impatient to get rid of Prince Andrew, and quite frustrated that it has not happened yet.

Card Drawn: The King of Swords

The King of Swords represents getting advice from experts, especially legal advice. This tells me that King Charles is looking at every legal avenue he can to remove his brother from the Royal Lodge.

The King of Swords can also represent the King himself, as his official birthday is in early to mid June, making his official birthday star sign Gemini, and therefore the King as the monarch can be represented by an air sign man, which is what the King of Swords can represent (an air sign person). This tells me that The King wants Prince Andrew out of the Royal Lodge in his role as the monarch, regardless of what he feels about this as a brother.

The King of Swords stands for authority, reason, strictness, head-over-heart, being objective and sticking to the facts, not letting emotions influence your decisions etc. I am wondering if King Charles has asked Prince Andrew to move out as Prince Andrew's King (as an authority figure) and Prince Andrew said no. Just a thought that crossed my mind.

The card is a barren card - Swords are the least fertile of the tarot suites - indicating that the outcome here might be barren, i.e. there is no legal way to remove Prince Andrew, at least without the assertion of a strong degree of authority. However it goes, The King does want Prince Andrew out of the Royal Lodge (i.e. this isn't something that is put out just as a PR distraction, although it can be used as that, and it is not something the newspapers made up for clicks).

Underlying Energy: Judgement

Judgement is the card of Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, and King Charles is a sun sign Scorpio, so this confirms that King Charles is the one behind this - he does want Prince Andrew out of the Royal Lodge.

Judgement is also a card of second chances. It may be that King Charles wants Prince Andrew to have a second chance somewhere else, or that he wants the house to give someone else a second chance *cough*Harry*cough*.

Judgement is linked to death - you die and then you are judged, so this is something that King Charles wants to do before he dies. This is a rather obvious statement, but the death aspect of the Judgement card, which is highlighted in the picture on the card, is coming through very strongly. This is something that King Charles wants to happen now, before his time runs out and he is no longer with us.

Finally, the Judgement card is about judgement, judging people, facing a reckoning. There is a rather strong energy of judging and reckoning about this card, in a 'you have done this and it is time to face the consequences' way, with one of the consequences being the loss of the Royal Lodge as a home.

Conclusion: Yes, King Charles does want to remove Prince Andrew from the Royal Lodge. It is not just a PR stunt when this appears in the papers - he really wants to do this before he dies.

Just when Megs is about to launch a podcast interview to publicize the launch of her second series/season of her Netflix show, With Love Meghan-- Taylor Swift announces she's engaged to her boyfriend of 2 years, Travis Kelce. The universe does not like the PR stunts Meghan tries to pull! You'd think Meghan would stop and smell the cosmic roses but nope!

Hi Celta, this is a 2 part interview with Gyles Brandreth who wrote a biography of QE2 that came out shortly after QE2’s passing. In the second part (posted above), GB mentions his friendship with PP and that PP showed him a stack of newspaper articles alleging various affairs he had over the years and pretty much told GB that if he tried suing all these people for defamation, it would just be a never-ending media story. PP also told GB that he had a policeman protection officer since 1947 and if there were any truth to the rumors of PP having an affair, GB said something concrete would have been disclosed by the end of PP’s long life. I feel sorry for Prince Philip. Imagine the media trying to make out that you had affairs with all these people when you know you didn’t but you can’t do anything about it due to making it worse, having people say ‘oh he didn’t sue about X so that must be true’, drawing attention to the lies etc. It would be horrible imo.

Celta, I think it's possible that Prince Philip never had an affair. I also think that if PP did have an affair, like with Sarah Ferguson's mum, then she wasn't the first woman PP had an affair with during his long marriage to Queen Elizabeth II. It wouldn't surprise me either way.

We will never know for sure. I think a lot of the 'affair' talk was exaggerated by the media for attention - poor Prince Philip would talk to a pretty woman and the next day the newspapers would say she was his mistress, that sort of thing. Whatever happened, he and Queen Elizabeth must have worked it out between themselves as they always seemed very happy together, and that is good enough for me.
